Wiggins has just been a little off his whole career. I chalk it up to him being a Canadian. lol. Sad news about his Dad passing. I think he still has some good days ahead of him in the NBA. He doesn’t get to show his athleticism much on the Warriors, but it’s still there. His defense was also a major part of their last championship run.
I agree that it's still there and just because they've been packed with the line up, now with some addition on the line up, there's another one that could play up with the position that he's got for the team as a PF. While it's a sad news, he'd sure be back into business once then when he's able to calm from the passing of his dad. A sad news indeed and this has been in the headlines, thoughts and prayers for him and his family even though he's not gonna read this. It's all individualized. Some people bounce back quickly from the loss of loved ones, while others may take a few years. I hope the Warriors support him at this time. Either way, the Warriors should be interested in giving moral support to Wiggins during this difficult time. At least because he is one of the few players on the Warriors roster who can help Curry on the court and be useful to the team in general, especially after Klay's leaving.

As a team I guess Warriors management will give him that space though it's also going ot be much better if he find ways to cope up keeping himself busy, if ever that he think that way he can use that as inspiration to bounce back help his team this upcoming season, but like what you said it depends from a person if how they will carry the load, hopefully Wiggins will do things positively and continue his basketball career and be that alternative guy for the Warriors, he still got it just need to work on with his skills.

NBA free agency: Knicks agree to one-year deal with veteran guard Landry Shamet, per reporthttps://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nba-free-agency-knicks-agree-to-one-year-deal-with-veteran-guard-landry-shamet-per-report/Veteran in the Knicks. I think they need it. So they are still filled with guards and I don't think they will be looking for the big man before the start of the season. Maybe they will before the playoffs if they see they are lacking in that division especially if the stats say they are losing against teams that are focused on big men. i.e. Embiid, Jokic, Giannis. It's true that championships can be won by speed but the Nuggets are champions because they didn't rely on speed but the skills of the damn Joker and the defense of KCP and Bruce Brown. Knicks is too focused on offensive players. I think that will bite them off in their future games once they are scouted.

The fact that Denver is tied for fourth place with KNICKS! when it comes to outrights is a very shocking thing to see. I get why Celtics are the leader because they won the title and latest champions are usually seen that way, but to say that Denver is fourth, and as good as Knicks, is beyond understandable to me.
I believe that they are much better and can do greatly. I get that Denver didn't do well last season, and that is why they are considered not as good, but they are still Denver Nuggets and Jokic is still Jokic, and I believe they have what it takes to win if all goes well. They have a great team and they are capable of beating anyone, just because they failed to do it once now, doesn't mean that they are terrible. I will definitely bet on them to win the whole thing, even if I fail, it's still a value bet without a doubt. Any odds of 10.00 for a team like that is a value bet in my book.

With Klay gone, I think they will have to do a lot more with Wiggins if they want to improve or at least even stay at the same level. It's clear that we are not going to see him do much because Wiggins isn't what Warriors are looking for but at the same time both need each other. Warriors need him to replace Klay, and Wiggins needs Warriors to show the world that he is still an alright player.
If Wiggins plays terrible this season even after given a proper chance then I am sorry but his career is basically over. He can probably find a few more contracts for minimum wage but that will probably be about that, nothing more. He needs to work on his shooting a lot, and specially defending as well, if he can do those two things then there is a chance that he will be doing fine.

It's not who is the best team, the west is more stacked. So the odds of Denver getting all the way through the west gauntlet is much tougher than the Knicks getting through the east. The east of top heavy then drops off considerably. The west not so much. Arguably Denver woukd habe to get through 3 teams that could very well male the finals before they themselves could get there. That's why the odds are like that.

Here's a good read. NBA Trade Idea Sends Ex-Bulls Superstar to Los Angeles Lakershttps://www.si.com/nba/bulls/news/nba-trade-idea-sends-ex-bulls-superstar-to-los-angeles-lakers-01j7s47yx2rkIf an NBA superstar becomes involved in trade rumors, the Los Angeles Lakers will almost certainly be mentioned as a potential suitor. This is especially the case as LeBron James enters the final years of his NBA career, because the Lakers need to upgrade their roster in order to be considered a real threat in the Western Conference. So true. They need everything they can get to maximize Lebron's years while he still at LA because there's no assurance that suddenly he will be injured and his age will become a problem. So while he is this strong, they want to add more players that could help him out to gain the championship again. Lakers receive: Jimmy Butler and Josh Richardson Heat receive: D'Angelo Russell, Rui Hachimura, Dalton Knecht, Gabe Vincent, a 2029 first-round pick and a 2031 first-round pick It's just an idea guys. It's not happening. Yet. It's up to the Miami Heat to make him available or not. I think he has a player option this coming year so Miami could offer him something good to avoid trading him or they could restart and try to deal with many teams. There are a lot of teams eyeing for Butler. Warriors, Nuggets, Spurs, Rockets, and the Lakers. I think they will be tracking the Heat's movement until they decide on what is going to happen. Where do you think Jimmy will land in case the Heat do not want him anymore?

I mean Jimmy Butler to Lakers would definitely make them great without a doubt. Losing players like Rui or Russell shouldn't be a big deal at all, Lebron is their PG anyway, so they need people who can defend and score when Lebron passes and Jimmy Butler is a star for that job. I think that is not going to happen, we will not see it happen at all but I think it's definitely a possibility without a doubt.
The reality is that we are seeing this team getting worse because while Lebron is still a great player, he is getting older and he is not as dominant as he used to be and I feel like defending is not something he can do that greatly neither, not that there are any other players on that team that can defend that well neither. So we could potentially see Jimmy Butler change all of that and make this team a great defensive team. AD inside, Butler outside, could be a great defensive scheme for all of them.

Perosnally if that trade for Jimmy will materialize there's always good and bad things to consider, knowing how Jimmy played the game he always wants to be an Alpha and I think with LeBron not sure he can work as he desire, though we can't conclude it right away it's a matter of how the players will adjust playing along side with each other, maybe if ever that the managements and coaches will manage to control their players maybe Lakers will have that decent chance these upcoming season if they will acquire Jimmy.

So in essence the Miami Heat trade theor best player for role players and draft picks 20 years from now. No ream general manager would ever do these things lol. The heat met the the Easter conference finals a year ago. I don't think they are championship material but getting rid of Jimmy buckets for parts is never happening. Mikal bridges was traded for 5 first round picks. Jimmy only gets traded for some type of package like that.

I think that they will for sure and while it's true that this kind of matter is an individualized thing and depending on each person's coping and recovering mechanism. Where do you think Jimmy will land in case the Heat do not want him anymore? I think if this happens for real, the Lakers trying really to maximize to give color to the last year's of Lebron. Jimmy Butler going there would be amazing but I don't think that the Heat will just allow it to happen. I haven't heard that Jimmy has an interest in going out of the team. Thus, Heat is known for keeping their players for as long as they want to be.

A trade involving Jimmy Butler would only make sense if he starts declining significantly, but his slight drop in performance last year was due to injuries, which is understandable. Miami needs to boost their roster, but trading Butler, their best player, isn’t part of that plan. The trade scenario suggested by danherbias07 seems unlikely, especially since Coach Spo wouldn’t agree, given his past issues with LeBron. So let’s set that idea aside. The Lakers need role players who can contribute, not another superstar who might just be overshadowed by LeBron. LeBron’s championship run with the Lakers should be enough for now. They should focus on making the most of what they have, as they’re still a championship contender with AD on the team.

Yeah, that's what I thought too unless they are rebuilding. The Miami Heat had always been on the top when it came to the playoffs but they still cannot get that championship that they wanted. I remember Jimmy Butler not accepting the Eastern Conference Finals trophy last year when Bam Adebayo was handing it to him and that's because he wanted the bigger prize which is the championship. Now, that could also be one reason why Jimmy would want out because he is trying to reach his goal and with his player option next year, he can actually get out and try to join other teams.

It’s ironic because he is always the problem whatever the team he is in. He is not consistent and the only consistency Jimmy buckets have is being a choker in finals. He missed a lot while he is cold when he needs the most. His game is not the type that can carry his teammates because he is just good when his teammates are good too. I doubt he can get the championship without joining formidable team. He should stay on Miami if he wants to have a good career since he is not on his prime anymore. Miami just need some key player to have a good run because they already have potential players on their roster.

Well, for now not much will happen anyway I guess. I agree to that, kuminga is a valuable asset and if ever Warriors will push for this possible trade then letting Kuminga might be the risk that they take to get Jimmy, If the managements is aiming for quick outcome then maybe Butler might be a good option for them, let see if there's progress about this or maybe just another fan or poster who loves to catch out attentions that may be forgotten along the way.

Well, for now not much will happen anyway I guess. Two mentioned young players is part of their rotation so provably that GSW won't gamble their future since those guys have potential to became their star. If they agree to trade Butler then provably that they will be in huge risk especially that Butler is not really so sure will stay on their team. Also he is 35 years old and there's few year left on his career so provably Warriors would not take a short term part since there's no assurance that they can get a championship if they push Butler to be part of their team. Podziemski and Kuminga provably a good fit on Miami but I guess GSW won't provably throw away their these valuable young players.

Actually yesterday I saw a video about possible trade scenarios for Butler to the Golden state warriors. It would be beneficial for both teams I guess but I think the Warriors would lose several contributors if they want to pursue Jimmy. Obviously Miami likes young talent and who else of the Warriors would be Kuminga or maybe Podziemski. I think Kuminga has more upside and he would need to be part of a possible package. The GSW should never settle for this trade. I mean, Kuminga and Podziemski is a much better pieces for the team than Jimmy Butler. Plus, they are young, Jimmy has like maybe a couple or more years and he's done. Jimmy would mist likely going to retire before the GSW gets another momentum to take a shot for another championship. The GSW should build a team around these young talents and not send them away. I don't honestly think they'll do this trade.

They are good fit on the system already and changing it might put them on big risk to lose especially that Butler is a type of player that want to be the main man on the team, So maybe they encounter a problem with this if they make that trade to happen. They don't need a star to join their team and what they need is good chemistry together with their existing teammates. Also what I think their current roster is strong already compare last season. So everything is already fine on their end and they should not entertain this kind of trade. What GSW need is to develop these guys and maybe they can use them for long term especially if their attitude won't change and they continue to develop or enhance their talents.

I don’t think that’s a good idea, IMO. Butler doesn’t really fit the Warriors’ system since he often dominates the ball and plays a lot of one-on-one. Their ball movement would slow down with Butler handling it, and they'd become more predictable. They should stick with what’s proven- like when they got stronger with Kevin Durant. I’m not sure if there’s anyone like KD available, but if there is, they should go for that instead and just let Butler stay with the Miami Heat.
