I was talking about the same thing with my friend the other day, Lebron is definitely in the GOAT discussion if you ask me and he has been consistently amazing for 15 years now (maybe except last year) and seen finals so many times, its of course not easy to win the finals and its a marvelous achievement to have 6 rings so I would put MJ over Lebron and Kobe over Lebron as well but that doesn't mean Lebron is bad, dude made it to finals that many times which is an amazing accomplishment.

However... even with that in mind if Kawhi somehow manages to win the ring this season, I am calling him the GOAT from now on, just 3 rings and half of what MJ had so it is definitely suspicious why I don't call Lebron goat but willing to call Kawhi goat but I can defend myself with the fact that dude has managed to win 3 rings on all seasons he has been health in the past 6-7 years, thats a great accomplishment.

Yes, this season with him on the Clippers will tell it all. They cannot use PG13 as a reason to Kawhi's success. I just hope injuries doesnt hit this two.
I use those analyst as just news and not for believing the hype or taking over by it to be a fan of Lebron or whoever star they tell.
Even the deal with KD is questionable for me. He is being given too much offer while Cousins have the same injury which he got over with.
Stephen Smith is the culprit. He talks about KD all the time and how great he is in everything.

Lakers have a bigger hypes  with how the lineup has been upgraded there's a big chance for them to make a good streak and even a good chance to win the title this time, Lebron and Davis both are healthy with Green, Kuzma and Rondo it can be a good starting 5 that composed of good players to fill every positions they've needed, it's about the chemistry and how the coaches will keep adjusting to find the best combinations to play inside.

Los Angeles Clippers are still on the line for the favourites to win this 2020 NBA season, all teams have superstar and all well balance so 2020 NBA season would be tough hard to all teams.

Comparing LB+AD pair against KL+PG pair, the first pair seem to be effective in the long run. Their position and role won't have any conflict. Maybe that was the reason LAL is way more favorites compare to LAC.

Kawhi and Paul George do have the same role, like Westbrook+PGpair in OKC with only a difference that Kawhi is not a ball hog lol. Way back in Toronto, Kawhi is the main center of their play at most of the times. Here in LAC, there will be 2 options now plus the fact that there are previously LAC's there sharing the same role too of these two. But surely they can work it out as soon as they progress. We just have to wait for it once season commence.

And looking at the odds provided to these two teams as Favorites, it's quite close (the last time I saw was @3.2 and @3).

The odds for next season is good, unlike the last season where you can get only a small return if you bet with the Warriors, the odds of the warriors last season IIRC was about 1.50 more or less. Now, favorites starts at 3 and warriors increase their odds as well, thanks to Durant for this, not because he was injured but because he leaves for the other team.

The Lakers are going to sign Howard after all. Shams just tweeted that Dwight has received a buyout from the Grizzlies and is expected to join LA. I'm not really feeling that move but at this point in time I guess they didn't have a better option and they need another big guy to fill up for Boogie.

Howard, that's a scary big 3 (Lebron, AD, and Howard) that would make them dominate the paint.
This season, if Lakers will improve in defense, they have a chance to dominate a team, even the Warriors, just imagine if none of these 3 will be injured after the end of the post season, I mean this is the line up I like to see, time for Howard to show up with Lebron that he can play like his old self again.

Good move on the side of Dwight since it would be his ultimate chance of having a championship ring. The Lakers really needed a big guy as this was their weakness last season, they were being bullied in the middle.

There's a reason why they are looking for another big man, that's because they can't fully rely on McGee.
He has the height, he can block and rebound but he is not strong inside, Howard is big, his opponent can't easily move him so they are strong inside.
When it comes to blocking shots, they have AD to help the center, this guy is tall and can play at the center position as well if needed.

To sum it up. Both Los Angeles have a pair of dominating players.
It is just that Lakers got the big guy. More like The Hulk of Avengers. Add the change of gameplay of Lebron which had been more of a passer now but can still do an isolation.
On the other hand. PG13 and Kawhi have a great isolation play. This means when both are in the floor it wont be easy to stop them.

It will be an exciting view to watch this two play against each other. Which LA will be dominating.

Dwight's isn't part of any "big #".  He has been traded multiple times without even wearing a jersey.  He is insurance at best.  Remember he is a big man who had back surgery, that isn't easy for a big man to overcome.

Agreed. Kawhi is an NBA all star, however, I was asking whether he is on of the greatest of all time list with Michael Jordan, Kobe and Lebron. I do not think he is yet.

What a turn of events, this will be his second stint with the Lakers. First time went horribly bad for him, but the circumstances that time was very different (Kobe's being the alpha). And also, he won't be the main center here, it could either be AD or Javale as the first option and I do hope that he is ok with that role in LA.
