Is there a chance that Stephen Curry will leave the Golden State Warriors?
He's locked for Golden State Warriors for 5 years and I think the last time he's signed the contract was 2017. He's one to have the highest contract and I don't think that GSW will set him free even the contract expires.

He's like the Kobe24 of GSW.

Contract will expire in 2020 per https://www.spotrac.com/nba/golden-state-warriors/stephen-curry-6287/
A player that is given a max contract won't leave a team, unless there is a conflict inside the organization, and so far, I haven't heard anything like that.
Based on the link given, its not 2020 but 2020 2022 yet its a 5 year contract since 2017.

Dont hear about news on leaving the team and i dont see a reason on why he would do such thing.
Thanks for that verification that his contract is still until 2022. I really don't see that he's leaving and there's no point for a rumor like this.
Just because the GSW isn't doing well for this season? they can get some help again and reshuffle their roster if they have to.
Others will leave but the original big 3 will stay, when Curry, Thompson, and Green plays together, they can beat any team in the NBA, warriors just needs to keep these 3, give them the best amount of salary and Warriors will once again a championship contender team as long as they are healthy.

I agree! I love their team chemistry specially when they made the best record in the regular season. That team line up was solid. It's just sad to see how the Warriors got devastated by injuries after injuries. If the Warrior team has been healthy all this time, the Western conference should've become a much competitive and entertaining to watch. Though both conferences so far this season is tightly competing for a playoff spot, except the Bucks who already clinched the playoffs early this season which is also very impressive performance from the Bucks team.

I like your optimistic view about the future of the Warriors and each of their fans is surely just waiting for the comeback of the healthy Warriors.

But as the season progress, there are lots of teams that always improved year by year. Warriors will be facing a new environment on the NBA once they come back healthy and I see that their Big 3 isn't enough. They need to acquire another good role player which I'm sure they are already working on that.

By the way, Steph Curry is expected to play on Sunday. He is surely missed by his followers. Hope no injuries for him this time.

Actually I hated the Warriors when they add Durant in the line up, it seems like they still are not satisfied with their dominance in the NBA, they want to dominant more, but now that Durant is out, I like to see the old Warriors winning again and make the best record in the next season but this would be more competitive as we have other teams improving as well and the new improve teams lead by their respective MVPs are now a championship contender.

I still do not understand why people think Ben Simmons is a start that makes so much difference to that team. Dude is a 16 point player with ZERO three point talent and just scores around the rim all the time, he has some rebounding and assist talents which I can understand why makes him more valuable but this dude was compared to Giannis when he first came into the league and was wondering which one would be the next Lebron.
Analysts taking it too far.
A pointguard against a forward with a height of a center. Is that really a pair to have a good comparison?
I don't think so.
Why does it have to be always about the three point shooting capability?
You could always hire players with that specialty but that doesn't mean everyone should have it.
This ain't a Rockets team.

he is not THAT big of a deal if you ask me.
Tell that after 2 more years.
Yes, it may not be now. But who knows? If they play harder this coming playoffs then it will blow all of those analysts minds.
They will suddenly talk about Simmons for a lot of time.  Cheesy

So what are your comment about lebron's recruiting some high caliber players to join his team and he repeatedly doing this wherever he landed so I think those addition is normal since of Durant on GSW is normal in the business and it's up to the organization on how they could defeat the strong line up before but now the game phase has been change since they have no durant, no iggy aswell no livingstone on their rooster, And I think we cannot see the old warriors rotation as before since as of now mostly the one existing on their roosters are young guns but still potential and maybe they can create impressive numbers when klay and steph will get back on the court.

I just read about this. I cannot blame him for wanting to play but the season is over for the Warriors and I prefer that he just rest and prepare for the next season to avoid further injuries. Kerr should just limit his minutes if the main reason to make Steph play is for fans entertainment.

Does NBA have a rule now against teams not letting their healthy players suit up for the game (i.e. load management)?

They will come back for sure. The season this time isn't for theirs and it's expected already with the roster change that they have plus the injuries that they had.

Compared to Bucks, it's an underrated team last year and many haven't seen the potential from that team. But now, they are one of the favorites because they have improved.

Next year will be a deciding year for them and expect many changes, shuffles, contracts, etc. on that team.

The desire to keep the fans entertained probably the reason why he will play on sunday, We know him for being loved by the fans and knowing that
he will be there to play will bring the DubNation once more cheer together, it's not a question of they still have the chance but to give back the
love for this game and for the benefits of all his loving fans, giving him quality minutes but not to force his injury is okay.

That won't happen. They are paid to entertain people and they must do it if they are all healthy.
I think they are just letting this circumstances before the end of the season. Like 2 to 3 games before the start of the playoffs.

24 games left for them and they are at 12 wins only.
Even if they perfect it, I don't think Grizzlies will just have 36 wins before the playoffs. Maybe more.
Plus, it is difficult to perfect all that 24 wins.  Grin
Maybe he will just play, but not that hard.

Lebron is already known on recruiting stars to join him to make this team stronger, but what I was saying is that the Warriors are already a strong team so it's not necessary anymore to recruit a star as that would only make them a superior team and we've seen how the Warriors have dominated with Durant and for me that is not fun to watch at all, I want to see the finals that will at least goes to 6 games, but Warriors when they were healthy and complete they easily dominated the Cavaliers and like I said, it's not fun.

Zion is a special player according to Lebron James.

LeBron James details why Zion Williamson is perfect for today’s NBA game

Quote
“The kid is special,” LeBron told Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. “In today’s game, where it’s a track race, it’s fast-paced, it’s high tempo, it fits his game perfectly. And the way they did play, it fits his game perfectly.”

So what are your comment about lebron's recruiting some high caliber players to join his team and he repeatedly doing this wherever he landed.

I hope you've realised LeBron isn't the GM that he could recruit a player as easy as 123. I'm sorry to say this, but that's a hater mentality right there.
You guys were thinking he can recruit any player he wants any time any where. But you guys failed to realize that there were actually NBA stars who wants to play with him.
Plus, LeBron had enough influence to the game that he could actually influence the front office's decisions as well.
That's how a certain management treat LeBron as a valuable piece of the franchise, that when he starts gets uncomfortable with his teammates, the front office will do adjustments and make trades if necessary.
Blame the Cavaliers management, blame the Lakers management for recruiting or trading players. Also, a player has the freedom to make decisions whether they sign to a certain team or not.

In any sports it's all about winning and they will do everything to win, even if in a certain team there are 5 stars, they'll allow that as long as they can pay the salary based on the salary cap, however, as a fans, we have different perception on what they are doing and personally, I don't admire Lebron's style but we got to respect the man, he is the king and until now at his age he still dominate.

I guess is Lebron getting whoever he wants to play to his team is an issue of Lebron or is it an issue of the front office? They see Lebron and they think they can't land any player that is better than him so they try to do whatever he asks to keep him there but we have seen time and time after again that dude has no loyalty to any team forever and will eventually leave you if he just wants to, yet front offices ruin their whole futures just to keep him happy.

Cavs are still in big debt even after 2 years of him gone, that is literally the wreck he left behind, so maybe front offices shouldn't have given him all he wanted. Lebron is just a player who looks at this like a business and if he can influence teams to get the best players he would want to play he would do that, I would do that, who wouldn't want to play with amazing teammates.

He may not be loyal to any team but he is loyal to basketball. Unlike other players where they stay committed to one team Lebron is actually the one moving up when he knows that team is going nowhere. That's what he learned during his first time in Cleveland before joining Miami, it really change him that loyalty for a team is enough for him to multiple championships. It's not his fault that he desires to win  and be the best player. Also I think teams right now are aware of his loyalty that's why they are always making the best out if his contract in order for them to also win a Championship.

Let us stop the hate.
Jordan left Chicago for baseball and then back. Then came back once again to play for Washington Wizards.
Same goes for Pippen, Shaq, and a lot more stars out there.

They are traded for some reason.
They also have managers which makes the deals.
Players cannot just say I want this and that without confronting their managers or it could wreck their whole career.

It is Lebron and he might say he want something to happen but it doesn't mean it will always come true.

I know warriors won a lot of rings with the original trio and I know it would probably be the worst look for any franchise in the history of NBA, but if we are looking at things as "business" I would probably try to trade Draymond Green if I was warriors. Dude used to be amazing and he was a dpoy type of player and he was the main piece that allowed warriors to be a small ball line up etc etc. However he got worse and worse every single year, nowadays I really think he is not needed to be champions. They now have curry - klay - Wiggins which could be better trio or worse I wouldn't know, they could send Wiggins and get another player, but if they could land a top pick for Draymond they should seriously consider that option. Dude is aging and getting fatter again and he can't shoot threes anymore for some reason and his defense is not at its old level so getting anything for him now would be ideal time, if they wait a bit more he will just be a veteran who gets paid a ton of money for what did once upon a time and not getting paid for what he brings to the table at that time.

Like I said that would be a franchise killer and would be a horrible look for warriors and %100 they are not doing it, but if they did they would potentially become a lot better as a team with a player who is actually good. Wiseman for draymond would be an ideal trade for them that would make them a lot better for example.

By the way, Steph Curry is expected to play on Sunday. He is surely missed by his followers. Hope no injuries for him this time.

Once a player cleared from their injury and declared as already fit to play, they should have played no matter what. They are paid players so even they prefer to rest and that's a good strategy for a team, it won't happen. If that's allowed, I think every superstar will now rest whenever they want especially if their team already clinch their preferred spot on the playoffs. And I also think that Chase Arena needs a boost on ticket sales lol.

About the load management, yeah NBA isn't strict on that. By rules, healthy players should play but teams always came up with back-up excuses that's why they are getting away with it.

So what are your comment about lebron's recruiting some high caliber players to join his team and he repeatedly doing this wherever he landed?

Recruiting is different from team signing. LeBron is not a GM that even if he likes Michael Jordan to be a teammate, it will happen right away. If you are talking about Anthony Davis, it's his own decision to join LeBron and not just because the latter recruited him. Pelicans didn't find a way to support AD and it leads to that decision. And LeBron isn't the only one that recruits AD. Maybe not in news but it's impossible that no other players reached him when he announced he will leave the Pelicans unless he already shows a sign that he will join LeBron prior to the announcement.

Players do have their own will even they are being recruited by a certain player. If LeBron successfully landed some of his recruits (much better if you can give examples) then they want to play with LeBron. These players aren't forced.

Can we just move on with that common rant I always read from people that dislike LeBron? Don't get me wrong here as I'm not his fan.

The only problem what I see for the warriors is they don't have a legitimate center that can dominate inside the court and they miss to have Drummond for the past trade and got Wiggins which we know for his softness although this year his gameplay rise up but let see if he could be a perfect fit when klay and steph will get back in court since for sure his minutes will lessen.

But I will agree with you with trading draymond since this year he has been unmasked since he can't contribute well without steph and klay on the court maybe the warriors should think about that while draymond still got a trade value.
