I hope that GSW comes back as strong as ever but that 73-9 wasn't done without merit neither, they are way worse than that right now, even though they are superbly great even today, they are nowhere near the 73-9 levels they used to be. Don't get me wrong, I am still saying that they are a top team in the west and there is no denying that, but they are not as good as they used to be. For starters Draymond green like I explained was MUCH better player back in those days and he hasn't been that good for few years now, he started to play worse and worse for the past 3 or so years.

Klay had an injury literally hurting his defense specifically and that was something they used a lot for hiding Curry on defense. On top of that they had Barnes which was a great player. So yeah they are still good but do not compare them to the time they did 73 wins or Durant period, they are good but not THAT good anymore.

Yeah we get it. It's like you are drilling it deeper.

Actually, they might be better now when Klay and Steph comes back.
They got good back up roleplayers.
Younger versions of that 73 wins record.
Looney also healed with his shoulder injury and I saw him shooting threes which is new. Then, there is Wiggins.
We might see a far better GSW now.
Let's judge them after 10-15 games. Them being better means more entertainment for us.

We never know until we see them inside the court playing together.

They still have that chemistry as the core still there, Klay , Dreymond and Steph the trio who can operate both defense and offense, togehther with the new sets of role players this three are expected to make a big comeback after a season of rest, coming from that
injuries we can manage to judge them after some numbers of games. Still looking forward from how they'll compete with new sets
of superstars combine from one team to another.

That injury really changes his future, he is still earning a decent salary but the recognition was already lost.
I guess he should be playing with star players or a team that has a decent chance of winning a championship.

However, we don't know his principle in life as a player, he wants to bring his team to win like in the past but things changes everything already.

Such a hard-working player needs to have his own ring as Leonard has. when he wins the championship for the Raptors. However, he always landed on the team who are not strong enough to compete in the playoffs and the results they always lose. I think whatever his decision with the game is must be respected because he is a good example of a player who doesn't care about his records. He played the game to the extent he injured himself very often.

We can't make what happened that brought to the disadvantage to a certain team as an excuses, GSW warriors never said anything bad against their opponent, the last time I remember they said bad was against the cavaliers when they loss at home, it was Curry's wife though who can't control her emotion IIRC. But after that, thy have proven that they are the best team, and true they are with Durant but regardless, they are still the GSW warriors, it was already a championship team before Durant joined them.

He had already won an MVP award, I think it's already enough to prove how good a player is individually, so his mission now is to look for a team to give him or he can bring to the championship, he was not the same guy who is the main man in the team, now, he can be a support or a role player to help the main star of the team to carry the team to the NBA finals, but he needs to be in a good team first, a team that has a good potential.

Harden going to Nets would be something really shocking to the world. Rockets took Harden from OKC and ever since that moment they have been fringe title team, never won a title but they were always there and chasing it.

They were literally one game away from being in the finals and probably becoming champions as well but they had to have that 27 miss threes in a row game which is a statistically nearly impossible thing which never really happened ever again. With Howard first, after that with CP3 and now Westbrook, if Harden is gone Rockets are basically done and go back to rebuilding phase.

On the other hand, east already has pretty decent teams, between bucks, raptors, Celtics, Sixers and now Miami apparently we would also have nets and that would be really awesome to watch, east could finally be stronger than west.

The Los Angeles Clippers had a great regular season but suffered one of the biggest choke jobs in recent memory. Up 3-1 against the Denver Nuggets with a chance to face the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals, they had multiple leads vanish in three straight games resulting in losses. We simply cannot remember a time when a team literally threw away a Western Conference Finals appearance for no apparent reason. With Doc Rivers out as the head coach and Tyronne Lue taking over, the Clippers should make moves to get to the NBA Finals this year. They still have Kawhi Leonard, but they can manage to add 2 more All-Stars by clearing the roster and using their trade assets. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George can be a perfect duo in theory, but adding the likes of Hall of Fame point guard Chris Paul and defensive center Rudy Gobert will essentially book their place in the NBA Finals this season.

There have been reports that Dennis Schroder will be going to the Lakers for the #28 pick and Danny Green to OKC which I think is really a good trade for the Lakers. One big rumor is also about James Harden going to the Nets which will form the big 3 for the Nets but this thing is still unclear especially when Harden expressed recently that he wanted to stay in the Rockets.

I think this adjustments from the Clippers was really a reaction to Lakers. I mean they want someone in the middle like Rudy as a defensive presence, but it will be more on CP3 as a big factor if ever they will go and chase the ring next season. Compare Lebron total points, rebounds, assisst, block, etc against Leonard, that we will know which is better.

Why people are now comparing about Leonard and Lebron? Kawhi is good but i dont see that he would really level up with Lebron in terms of statistics and achievements.

When it comes on carrying the team then thats an another topic to discuss on and as mentioned where all these things cant really be attained without the help of your team mates.

You might be a playmaker or does have the skills but proper coordination and teamwork would be the key to win or success.
