Huge blowout win by the LA Lakers, but it's just one win, what I'm worried with the Heat now is Bam's health, hopefully he will be back, he is one of the most important piece of the Heat. While this is a bad news for the heat.

They are lack of tall guys and this incident happened, how bad isn't it? Things are not going fine on the side of Heat right now . As you may noticed, the full force of Heat is obviously struggling against them. As far as I remember they weren't able to take the lead even for a single quarter. So what more worse could possibly happen knowing that Adebayo got an injury tsk.

Though high chance for us to see him in Game 2 as per source[/b], I doubt that he can give his best on it. Thus, lose again.

No, you missed the first quarter, Heat was on the lead at the start of the game, they up like 13 points I believe but Lakers had a good run to even lead in the first quarter. If it's literally by the end of the quarter, Heat lead in the 4th quarter with a score of 31-23.

So what more worse could possibly happen knowing that Adebayo got an injury tsk.

Though high chance for us to see him in Game 2 as per source[/b], I doubt that he can give his best on it. Thus, lose again.

Let's just hope he can play in game 2, otherwise, it will be a boring series.

yeah, while everyone expected that Heat is going to be on their max in first match, it was quite opposite, and Lakers done the job in first half
it could be said that they needed one half to claim a title, but hopefully Heat will re-organize for next match, since if they lose match no.2, IMO this series could be over in four matches

Heat started hot in the first quarter, but that's it, after that Lakers woke up from their slumber. Play good defense and they hitting outside shots and Heat doesn't have any answers at all. But, Bam Adebayo intends to play in Game 2 vs. Lakers on Friday [UPDATE]. I do hope that he is fine though, we don't want him aggravate that injury even more at it might affect him in the future.

it is a great game mate,nothing to be embarrasses on that part,and being in Finals.all are contributing in games giving their best each shooting.

it is a great game mate,nothing to be embarrasses on that part,and being in Finals.all are contributing in games giving their best each shooting.

We know that they are the underdog but we never expected they will be blowout in the first game of the NBA Finals, plus those injuries, that's a big minus.

A huge blowout in the first game indeed.

A sweep can be happen with what happened to the Heat. Bam isn't 100% healthy right now because of the injury. Dragic will not play this whole Finals because of his leg injury and Butler suffered an ankle injury in the first half. 3 of their best players suffered an injury and this is just Game 1. The Heat has no legitimate back up Center so the injury of Bam is a big hit for them.

I expect that the Lakers will win in 6 games but with what happened, there is a high chance that the Heat can be swept.

Bam Adebayo strained his left shoulder and did not return after 21 minutes of Miami's Game 1 defeat.

The good news is that X-rays were negative. The bad news is that shoulder injuries rarely require X-rays, and an MRI might be needed to fully assess the damage here. It's the NBA Finals, so Bam will presumably play through anything, but time will tell. If he misses games, Kelly Olynyk and Meyers Leonard both stand to gain.

That's the latest update, hope everything will be negative so he will be positive to play in game 2, the team needs his presence though the Lakers are so big but they are faster if they will work out a good plan.

At the end of it, it's still a prediction. Can or cannot happen. But to see such predictions, it's interesting to know the thoughts of other fans and what they like to see from these players.

About the finals MVP, it's likely that Lebron will take it. But there could be a surprise with the other two boys, Butler or AD.

Lebron will most likely get the MVP but i wont be surprised if there are other would be on the selection. Butler and AD are indeed ideal too.

They are eligible candidates for the MVP title.

Here in our place we bet locally and before the Final Series had started people are talking about betting. Since lakers are favorite miami fans had given +1 game for miami to win in betting. However, the other side still not accepting it and had ask for + 2 games for miami. If miami will get a 2 wins then it would be a win for +2 games miami. So now,  good luck on looking for bet. It would be difficult I guess to look for a match that will accept your bet except if you will risk more in betting.

Odds for game 2 are out on Bitsler. Still some good odds available for the Lakers even though they're the favorites me thinks.

Miami doesn't have much to offer now. Bam isn't going to be 100% fit for the entire series even if he comes back for game 2. Still, I want to see surprises from the Heat bench.

It sucks to see injuries happen but let's not take away anything from this man. He did really well in his first ever NBA Finals appearance. He could also win the finals MVP.

I wish him to be in good faith and nothing really happened that bad and there's nothing to worry about. Yes, it's the finals and it would be very bad for him to feel that if findings are positive. We all acknowledge the strength of Lakers but for a team who's competing at the finals, each of them are very much important in these times from support, subs, plays, presence and almost everything that they can contribute to the team whether they win or lose.

The matchups showed very mismatch anyone who guarded AD can't handled him while LeBron is also in it's attack mode.

Coach Spo needs to find ways to bring his rookies in shape and not be bothered, they need to play harder  than what they've showed earlier the series still on and they've got a lots of time to adjust and bring the competition to the next level. They already here in the finals so better to show up what they've capable of.

Literally broken yet it didnt only been blown out by huge lead but also it did really affect Heat players as well yet their main players suffer injuries.

We cant deny that this Game 1 do shows on whats the gap between a powerhouse team vs a 3rd seed one.We can really tell the difference when it comes to physical power
and Lakers had prove out on what they are capable of.

Heat managed to have some lead on first quarter and having a good run but later on, there are lots of errors on shots and this is where Lakers made a run until the gap or lead
goes as high as 30 points and they didnt able to close that gap and do still end up on 18pts lead in the end of the game.

Injuries are the part of the game and this situation will surely make worried those Heat fans out there.Imagine that Butler and Bam isnt on their 100% performance

We know that even at 100% healthy status, Miami Heat will have a difficult path to overcome the Lakers' performance.

So now that they are now dealing with these injuries, the situation got worse.

Game 1 loss shouldn't be a big deal if the game was closed. But it's different as they lose because their offensive power weakens. The time now for their bench and supporting players to step up and make this Finals appearance a good opportunity to enhance their skills.

The next game is in 48 hours but if they can't find something this will be a very fast series it can ends in 1 week for what we saw yesterday.

Also, King James is not happy with his point of view they can even do better.
