Paul George is injured way back and I think it could really affect his full potential in playing basketball. Kawhi is a scorer and not really a good leader that can carry a team like Lebron James. CP3 is way better among the players ecen Rudy Gobert. This guy is explosive and unpredictable with his moves and that he is a playmaker. I think they could be one of the best team in NBA next season but for now it so hard to beat the Lakers with Lebron and Davis and other leading scorers in the team.
I won't compare Kawhi to Lebron, they are good in their individual skills and uniqueness. The comparison of them is unnecessary although as a fan, we like to do it and always see some holes from the other than the good performance and records of the other. But there's one thing that we can have them in comparison, both reached and taken a championship with the help of their teammates not just by individual skill alone. Every superstar is helped by their teammates because this is a team game, no matter how good they are, there's still people who should step up on the role to help them, not only the players, but the entire coaching staff as well, it's a teamwork in short. Lebron vs Leonard if compared individually, you already know who's better, and it's obviously Lebron based on the stats. Numbers don't lie! Why people are now comparing about Leonard and Lebron? Kawhi is good but i dont see that he would really level up with Lebron in terms of statistics and achievements. When it comes on carrying the team then thats an another topic to discuss on and as mentioned where all these things cant really be attained without the help of your team mates. You might be a playmaker or does have the skills but proper coordination and teamwork would be the key to win or success. That's what I'm saying, for individual achievement, Lebron has achieve a lot already. I think we can check this stats to end this discussion. facts . https://www.landofbasketball.com/player_comparison/lebron_james_vs_kawhi_leonard.htm

I don't what team gets the benefits in this trade, Paul and Booker in one team is just like Harden and Westbrook in a team, Booker here needs to adjust as surely paul will still bring the ball as a point guard and that means Booker's shooting attempts will be limited.

^^ Maybe they can co-exist like the Blazers, like Lillard and McCollum. Or Paul with handle the ball all the time as their point guard and Booker as more on the scoring side and it will also take a lot from his shoulder the distribution load. So we might see Booker scoring advantage for next season increase by some margins. As compare to Harden and Westbrook who are pure scorer so it's really hard to put them on the same team.

For the suns to gamble in that trade, they really see something that could help their team, CP3 is not getting any younger while they release a young players in exchange for him. Suns is not going to be a shitty team no more, they have build their dou now with Paul and Booker, I'm hoping both of them will stay healthy so we can see their potential working together in the court.

I'm not sure about the contract of CP3, so I would agree that this is a big gamble for them, a healthy CP3 for 1-2 years will be enough to see where the Suns is going, as you have said, he is not getting any younger and another serious injury might end his career with the Suns. And it's interesting how many players Phoenix let go just to get CP3, its a big risk but worth a try to see how they are going to compliment each other in the court.

Well, James Harden denied +2 year $103m contract from Rockets, looks like he focus on Brooklyn Nets only. He could've been the first player that mark 50m a year contract if he accepted.
He wants that ring so bad, they try to build a new super team with Durant and Irving. He still has 2 more years contract but if he wants to go Rockets can't hold him and wait for him to play effective. Unhappy players show no good performances we all know.
Sixers also want Harden but I don't give much chance to them. If he goes to Nets that would be straight championship contender team from East. They can also try to win the title with Durant again, like good old Thunder days.

Harden indeed wants to chase a ring. Turning down a $50m/year contract means too obvious that he desperately needs to win a championship, and the focus was also obvious how serious and desperate he was on joining the Brooklyn Nets. Well, If this happens, nobody can't deny they'll be an automatic NBA finals bound "IF" they stay healthy all throughout the regular and post season.

I think that's good, Durant and him was playing way back with their OKC time so they must have created the friendship and chemistry as well, first time I saw a team in the East which are a super team and I liked it.

Paul knows how to adjust we know that, wayback from the old clippers where he played alongside with Griffin. He knows how to adjust with his roles. Like how you compared with Blazers this two stars can co-exist as the 1-2 punch have a good advantage in terms of making points. Bookers shows great season from the last bubble. With CP3 the load of playmaking will be remove from him, allowing him to focused from where he really good at. Booker will keep doing he's job with a good mentor veteran like CP3, it will be depends from how both players will adjust and try to meet both expectations the results will favor the team.

I followed his career and I'm so impressed with him as in every team he played, they always go to the playoffs.

It looks like James Harden definitely wants out, that is no question since he declined the offer. Westbrook already said that he wants to get out as well, he didn't specify a place but he wants out, they already traded Covington as well. Rockets will be soon a team that fails to go to playoffs and rebuilds and be like 20-25 win team at best if they are lucky to get few good players from draft and that is about it.
Harden at Nets would be weird honestly, none of the stars there are team players, they are not like warriors share the ball kind of people, they are really just bunch of ISO players that takes million dribbles and then shoot. I think Nets with Nash as head coach, many great assistant coaches including MDA and Irving plus KD and now maybe Harden, could potentially either be very very horrible, or could win a title in first year.

The trading season has just started yesterday and some star players have been already traded already. like Chris Paul goes to Phoenix Suns and the Oklahoma Thunder receives Rubio, Oubre, Jerome, Lecque, and draft compensation in the deal. What are your thoughts guys?
It looks like the Suns will be going to use Booker only in the shooting guard position for the next season. So they have a big 3 in nets now? I think that's good, Durant and him was playing way back with their OKC time so they must have created the friendship and chemistry as well, first time I saw a team in the East which are a super team and I liked it.
Harden was in the shadows of Durant when both played for the OKC, but now it would be interesting to see how they will share the ball among themselves.

Of course the year that the draft isn't very deep the Bulls get the 4th pick. However of all years to be glad you don't get pick one would be this year. I'm not sure how much of LaMelo's dad I can take. Surprised at how good all those boys have been however. Hopefully the Bulls can pull a rabbit out of a hat this time around.

For us fans it's normal to have discussions like this, it's a healthy discussion. But he's right that stats don't lie but I'm saying that they are good at their individual skills. No doubt that Lebron's achievement is more than Kawhi has but I don't neglect the achievement of Kawhi too, he's also a great player the same as Lebron. I appreciate him as a player and the same as others. Anyway, I saw the news that there will be no all-star game.

This trade was kinda questionable for me since the ones they are trading for Chris Paul are players who actually contributed a lot for their success in the bubble. I don't know if this is their idea of keeping Booker but what they did on trading 1 aging star in exchange for some of their best players I don't think this will help them have a better team. For me they should have went with another trade where they will be trading there draft pick plus another player in order to get a star.

Anyway, I saw the news that there will be no all-star game.
Yes, I saw it too but they give a 5-day All-Star break. So basically, instead of doing an All-Star game on that 5 day period, they will give it to players as their resting period. Not bad though. Harden at Nets would be weird honestly, none of the stars there are team players, they are not like warriors share the ball kind of people, they are really just bunch of ISO players that takes million dribbles and then shoot.
Got the picture as I see it that way too. But Nets do now have lots of options and those 3 are deadly in the rainbow area. Let's see how Steve Nash will work for it. I just hope their good role players who played at their best when their superstars are not there will also be utilized too.

That's better, as a fan I understand it and I'm happy that they'll get that period instead of having an all-star game. Not that disappointed although we want to see some action as we're used to it every season. But with changes and circumstances, it's very well understood.

Dinwiddie will be the key factor. Let the freaking 2 injury stars take their rest and just play 20 minutes per game and stay with the roleplayers chemistry. Nash should not lean with KD and Kyrie. Stretch on using roleplayers because they are really good. Allen, LeVert, Harris. Those names are now known with their hard work and efforts in playoffs.

Correct. Should not be a problem as NBA do have limited time for their usual activities. Unfortunate that those rookies won't experienced playing on their supposed 1st All-Star game. They will come back instead next season as sophomores. All-Star break will turned into usual break, no game schedule, no practice, no entertainment, but for conditioning purposes.
