Morant is the face of Memphis now, suddenly the team become exciting to watch, and I have no doubt about his talent but I just wish that he will remain healthy so we will always enjoy watching him bringing his team to the playoffs. He is young but he is the leader of the team now.

He becomes one of the hot rookies back during the season he has drafted. Being under shadowed by Zion Williamson during their rookie years, he proves that he has different gameplay and still improving more at this point. I remember a young Lebron James to him that at that young age, already a clear face of the franchise and also a leader already.

Like everyone else, we hope that he will have a healthy status for long. His talent is awesome and we are looking forward to more insane highlights from him in the near future or establishing crazy production and stats every game.

I doubt that. They are keeping Lebron for different reasons and it will stay that way before the last year of his career where he might end up in Cleveland just for a come back and a big hand of applause. What I think will happen is the same thing they did 2 years ago after the championship.
Go deep in releasing their players and put something new in their roster. They will keep some like Reaves and Monk. AD and Lebron will stay and they will be looking for younger guys now because the veteran move didn't work.

I also think that they will almost completely rebuild the team because the current roster is clearly a failed experiment of the Lakers' management. Honestly, I wouldn't even be surprised if they decide to trade Davis. There is no doubt that he is a great player, but he is too prone to injury. As a result, AD is not helpful enough to the team because he misses a lot of games for the second season in a row.

No, what you feel is right. He is always in the spotlight whenever he is paired with a great center. It could be because of the different role. But when it comes to playing with another point guard he seems to be off.

You are right. James Harden is the type of player that will remain in his usual role, even there's another one on his team that can do the role.

Pairing with Chris Paul doesn't work well because they have the same position. Pairing with Russell Westbrook, it's the same case. Being traded to Brookly Nets, there are lots who have the same role as him.

Now with the Sixers, he find the right spot as he owned the playmaking to support the main man of that team which is in the Forward/Center position, Joel Embiid.

There's no experiment happened. It's just that high expectations are built prior to the opening of NBA Season because of the "big names" here which are mostly now out of their prime and can be considered as hitting the "veteran period" already.

Now that they now see the result, I'm sure Lakers already have a plan in the post-season in the so-called "rebuilding".

Trading Anthony Davis should be considered too. He's good overall but the Lakers didn't utilize him well because of him being an injury-prone at a young age.

Nets vs Raptors was the game you like to watch as expected, they were a moment of silence in the last minutes but at the end of the day, the Nets cannot stop the Raptors and wasted their chance to take time the game or take the lead. The Raptors outscored them and the last buzzer-beater three was not enough to get to the OT. They lost in a back-to-back game straight to the Raptors without their superstars.

^^ I think it is expected that the Nets will have a hard time to win against the Raptors.

But they almost did upset them without Irving again and Drummond who has a bad fall against the Raptors the last game. It was another close and tough lost for the Nets, and there chances are getting slim now to make the playoff without Durant.

What a game by Ja Morant and Memphis Grizzlies as usual he posterized another big man again, it was exciting to watch especially when you are expecting something to explode on the court, and here it is. They just won the game today and he gets an insane score and a career-high of 52 PTS, 7 REB, 22/30 FGM, 4/4 3 PM.

Ja Morant Dunk

I was completely surprised with Ja Morant's performance in this last Memphis game.
He is proving to be an excellent player and consequently one of the best in the league.

I believe he will still evolve and acquire a lot of experience, because he is only 22 years old!!

Just keep his focus and be at his best each game he will play.

Ja' is still young and has so much talent. I remember in him the young DRose, speed and skills the kid should prevent himself
in any major injuries and continue to dominate inside this league.

He's really bringing his name high and making his own path, Memphis again, making this franchise very competitive.
Yes, well remembered!
I remember DRose very well when he was in his prime. He was the youngest player in NBA history to win the regular season MVP award.

That's what I said before, what is missing for Ja Morant to be one of the best PG in the league, is to acquire experience... but that will be acquired with time!

This season Los Angeles Lakers are having a bad season in the league. At the beginning of the season, there was hope for the championship but things did not go well. Despite the team's poor performance LeBron James leads the team with superior performance. I hope the Lakers don't go the way of trading their best player for now.

What do you mean getting slim to get on playoffs? It's not what I see even without Kevin Durant until the end of the season.

They are still 2 games win ahead of 9th and they can surely have a chance to win at those. What I'm seeing is, they will end up on 7th place or the worst is, they will play on play-in tournament.

I  really didn't think that they won't make the playoffs but one thing is for sure, they will have a tough opponent at the first round which possibly can eliminate them early at the playoffs.

I think Toronto Raptos' superiority in offensive rebounds was very effective in winning this match. It was a very competitive game and the Raptors played very well in the final period. The Nets lost the game because they couldn't score last minutes. The Raptors' defense was also pretty good and the final minutes were very exciting Smiley

And in those dying minutes, the Nets doesn't have a go to guy to score, + the defense of Toronto is superb and that help them make a comeback.

As for the Lakers, losing 3 in a row again and sitting at 9th place in the West. So not good position that they are in, for sure they will go in play-in again in order to survived their season.

Better than taking the early break, Lakers still have that chance but if they will continue losing games, the chance also to them to exit

without moving to the second round is also possible. Let see if what adjustments they needed to workout, still can't find the right combinations

to win a game. Even how hard LeBron played the game if the help from his teammates are not working on both defense and offense, nothing will

change, they will continue losing. Embarrassed

As for the Lakers, losing 3 in a row again and sitting at 9th place in the West. So not good position that they are in, for sure they will go in play-in again in order to survived their season.

The Lakers might win the play-in and occupy the 8th seed, but I doubt If they can pass the round 1 against the top seeded team. Suns, Gsw, or even Grizzlies can send them to a 1st round exit.
The Lakers has almost no chance for the playoffs this year. They need to rebuild their team, get rid of WB and AD replace them with a good supporting cast. They can keep Melo and Monk as well.

That would be a huge problem for them if they'll lucky to qualify in the playoffs, just like before, they will again lose to the Suns because by far the Suns are the most consistent team in the West now. I'm not saying it's a guarantee but what we are seeing on how the Lakers are playing now, I don't expect them to give a tough competition against the number 1 team in the West.

Just like how the Lakers failed when they put in veterans with Kobe Bryant back then. Nash, Malone, Payton, etc...
The other problem is they don't really have a franchise player now because I know it's not Lebron. Someone like Magic or Kobe back then.
A young player that will be nourished and kept even in ups and downs. Now, they just keep on kicking anyone who will fail and add new guys praying a miracle would happen that would create chemistry in a short amount of time.
This isn't even playoffs yet.

I don't expect anymore that they will create chemistry, they have been playing for a while now and we can still see their incosistency. They might continue to lose and they will fail this season, next season we are not going to see the same faces again, and who knows, Lebron might get traded.

Maybe trade WB but keep AD, just like this game against the Mavericks, he was shooting bricks with a very awful shooting percentage.

5-17 shooting overall, 0-4 from 3 point line. I don't understand why Westbrook still tries to shoot 3's when he is not really a good 3 point shooting. I think he should earn his points in the FT line, and it's very important that he is aggressive and he will keep attacking.

I guess that Lakers felt the absence of Anthony Davis last night and that's why they barely lost to Mavericks by 104-109 home. Mavericks were already being favoured to win and they did what was expected. Doncic had a decent performance in this game too by 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. This wasn't one of his best performances maybe but it was still enough for a win here. And as always, Lebron was the most scorer of his team by 26 points and made a double-double too by having 12 rebounds. But they still lost by a small score gap.

Davis has been absent for awhile already, and even if Davis was still playing before, the Lakers are still inconsistent. Losing to the Dallas Mavericks, it's not a surprise because the team is a playoff team and Luka is really impressive as a player. Dallas are in a winning streak, so they are hot as a team and they'll probably continue their great run.

Dallas in 2 winning streaks while Lakers already in 3 losing streaks.

Honestly, I want to see this happen Grin Maybe the thought of getting kicked out would spark a new fire in his belly. Unfortunately, I don't think the Lakers have the guts to do that.

I'm not defending his poor performance but four attempts isn't really that bad to keep them guessing. If they know you'll just drive for a lay up/dunk or kick the ball outside, it's easier for them to defend.
