They drop down to 11 now after lossing to the Mavs.
Though they still have a chance If they start winning the remaining games, but If the Spurs are winning as well, then it would be the end for the Lakers this season.
Rebuilding will be expected in the off season, and we will definitely see a completely different roster next season lol. They should've kept their championship team intact.

It's a tie, and the Spurs have a game today versus the Grizzlies. They will try to win this one and put a gap with the Lakers team. As for the Lakers they will be playing against the Jazz tomorrow. Both teams may have a problem gaining a win, it will just depend if those higher seeds will rest their stars which is a big opportunity for the lower seeds to win a game.
But I doubt the Jazz will just hand it over. After a devastating loss from the Clippers, they may want revenge on their brother in LA.

With Paul George making his comeback tonight against the Jazz you have to wonder how they'll be going into the playoffs.  Anybody have any idea when Kawhi Leonard will return?  With them having such a low seed, they could be a real menace to the #3 seed if they get Kawhi back.  You'll be able to watch Paul George's return tonight on TNT, as the Clippers have the second game in a doubleheader tonight.  First up is the Lakers vs the Mavericks, which should be a win for the Mavericks as James is listed as doubtful for the game.  A shame, as I always love watching him match up with Luka Doncic.  They both seem to take it to another level when going head to head.

As expected, Paul George will be the main key to dominate Donovan Mitchell and the rest of the Jazz. He managed to contribute 34 points in his 34 minute time in the court. What more if Kawhi Leonard have also came back again with Paul George and played that game.

Anybody have any idea when Kawhi Leonard will return?

He is not yet scheduled to return on the court this regular season, but maybe in the playoffs they can manage to survive in the play-in tournament. There was some news that he is ahead of his schedule so that's already a good news for the team.

Leonard may be able to rejoin the rotation at some point before the playoffs, but it's still unknown if he will actually return with only a few weeks remaining in the season.

With that possible lose tonight for the Lakers, they are now much closer to being eliminated from the play-in tournament. They will fall to 31-44, same with the San Antonio Spurs which is currently on a hot 4-game winning streak, and since GB matters, they might end up in the 11th spot.

The Lakers roster and its management have already saw it coming that their chance in the playoffs this season is somehow slim than the previous seasons they had, surely this was the effect on their decision of bring WB in-exchange of 5 players including Alex Caruso but didn't expect either that they could be this failure and now they ended up on the 11th seed in the West. Their next 5 games will be up against the heavy teams in the league, so GL to them!

It was a good game, both teams are exchanging 3 point shots in the last minutes of the game, the goal tending and then overturned the call, which was big for the 76ers. However, we can already tell that the Bucks are dictating the tempo, they make some good plays and therefore they deserve that win.

Correct, it was a good game, we might say that it is a playoff atmosphere. Sixers took the lead behind but it was not a lead that is safe as the Bucks keeps coming back. And when Giannis found his game, it was a matter of time that he will carry the Bucks on his shoulder again. And not only in offense, but that very important block shot and prevent the Sixers to force the game into overtime.

It was definitely not a goaltending, the ball was still going up and it did not hit the rim or the backboard which are the reasons why it could be a goaltending. I do not have a dog in this fight, I do not care about neither team so I can clearly say with objective eyes that it wasn't a goaltending.

However, it is also important to say that both teams are looking great for the playoffs, if they play at this level, it is easy to see at least one of these teams in the finals. Both are trying to avoid nets because even though they could beat them, it would be hard to face such a difficult team early on and be so tired to go on after that.

I can't think of that as a reason why should we stay away if we have preferred a team to bet.

Well the odds was part of the reason I said that but I also mentioned the game would be close which is exactly what happened.

It's probably a different case if you have a favorite team since your biases could affect your decision but I don't find betting moneyline with almost similar odds as worthy when we're talking about games that could go either way. There are plenty of games to choose from.

It is quite sure that they were always at risk of not even playing in the play-in. I mean look at the team now, they are very inconsistent and an exact opposite from the supposed superteam that would dominate the league.

They are now in the 11th spot and the San Antonio Spurs have successfully replaced them from the 10th seed. I can see that they will be consistent on losing on their upcoming games. How can I say so? Well, just look at the teams that they will face in the remaining games

That Bucks - Sixers game was like a preview of play-off games, both teams are good candidates to play in Conference finals. Bucks played last minutes better and won the game. Antetokounmpo is unstoppable. On the other hand Embiid and Harden made a pretty good duo. They just lack of bench players who can score, they definitely need more points from other guys if they want to go on in play-offs.

The Sixers bench players outscored the Buck's second unit if you look at the stats. It's probably bad decision for Doc to have a starter play for 20 minutes and score only 2 points in one attempt. Maybe he needs to draw more plays and let the other guys get involved with scoring instead of relying heavily on Embiid and Harden.

They are now totally eliminated I think even Spurs will lose some of their remaining games.

Looking at the Lakers' remaining games schedule, they will face some of the monster teams in the league, Utah Jazz, Phoenix Suns, Denver Nuggets, and Golden State Warriors. How can they beat these and get a 4-0 win.

Low chance for the Lakers to get a win at these teams even they will play healthy and Anthony Davis will be present.

Both teams have only 7 games left to play before the end of the regular season. So if Davis and LeBron don't come back, the current Lakers roster will likely only be able to win one game against the Thunder. By the way, the Spurs will also have difficult opponents in the upcoming matches. However, they are a bit lucky because they will play against the Blazers twice.

They had already played with a low performance all year and they caught a new losing streak all the time. When the team is missing even one or two players, they don't have much chance and they lose the matches. I think it will be difficult for them to play the playoffs this year, even if they do, they won't be able to do anything and they will be eliminated early on

Memphis Grizzlies has made history again by winning the game today against the San Antonio Spurs which made the Spurs out again in the play-in tournament. The Memphis Grizzlies have won the Southwest Division for the first time ever. They are strong without their star player Ja Morant and even stronger when he is on the court. This young team has a promising future in the upcoming playoff tournament and they have all the means to turn things around and win a championship this season.

Lakers are lucky the Spurs also lost their game against the Grizzlies in a close battle.
The ball rolled in the ring and went outside, Keldon Johnson devastated as he lay on the floor. But that was an amazing game they showed and I really wish that ball went in.
That win could've been separated them from the tie in the 10th seed with the Lakers.
While on the Lakers side against the Mavs yesterday, meh.   Doncic dominated the game.
