Poor Scoot Henderson. He just set a record for the lowest two game +/- with a -83. It’s definitely not his year. I hope he gets it figured out. Probably the biggest bust of all time as it stands now.

It does not only happen with the Bucks, as team like Miami Heat had signed player that aren't even playing at all. If you still remember Udonis Haslem, he's been with the Heat as part of the roster but we didn't even see him play, but that was before he announced his retirement last year. Udonis Haslem, NBA's oldest player, retires from Heat after 20 seasonsIt's a completely different case. This is like Heat paying tribute to Haslem's past contributions. What's Thanasis done for the Bucks to deserve that spot? It could be different though, but what if without Thanasis Giannis will not be Giannis and will demand a trade? I think speaking about blackmailing here, it's not Thanasis who is playing the game, but Giannis, because he knows the management will do everything to keep him.

If Giannis demanded a trade just because his brother wasn't on the team, that would be selfish on his part. I mean, it wouldn't be good if Giannis manipulated and blackmailed the Bucks' management just to secure a roster spot for his brother. I'm more than sure there are a lot of guys with good potential who lose the opportunity to get on the roster just because a player like Thanasis already takes the spot.

Maybe it will be a different scenario now. He already helped his brother make a lot of money and if they are good at managing it perhaps letting him decide where to go from there should be the new option. It's not like that dude is a bad player. He is still a big man that can be used by other teams for bench rebounders and I think other teams will be willing to make him an offer. Milwaukee Bucks won today but the Golden State Warriors without Stephen Curry gave them a hard time to take the win. Klay Thompson found his rhythm and there's Kuminga who had been showing a phenomenal performance every game. Then there's Brandin Podziemski who tied his career high of 23 points. But, that's not enough to defeat the trio of the Bucks. 3 players, Giannis, Dame, and Middleton all scored beyond 20 points but it was Middleton who put the dagger to win the game, he was shooting lights out and had been playing like an All-Star once again. Still, Steve Kerr must be happy that his bench showed well today, there was even a time when they got the lead so he must be satisfied with what happened although they lost.

[....] That's how the Bucks valued Giannis that even his brother get signed just to retain Giannis. With the contract extention he signed last year, that could also mean that Thanasis will continue to be with the team for a while. Besides, if I am in charge on the Bucks to sign a players, I would still do the same as Giannis is still on his prime and he is making the Bucks a championship team.
It's funny because Giannis demanded a better roster before the contract extension but he still wants to keep the useless Thanasis? He was instrumental in that championship run but he has to stop "blackmailing" the management. It does not only happen with the Bucks, as team like Miami Heat had signed player that aren't even playing at all. If you still remember Udonis Haslem, he's been with the Heat as part of the roster but we didn't even see him play, but that was before he announced his retirement last year. What's Thanasis done for the Bucks to deserve that spot? Thanasis as almost everyone would agree is the bargaining chip that Milwaukee are using to keep Giannis, it's neither ethical nor professional, but I'd say if the organization believe that's what keeping their biggest assets' head in the game and are fine with it then I mean it's their decision, what is Robin Lopez doing on the roster as well ? and It's not as though Thanasis is on a relevant pay, I will probably his getting paid to be the team's and his brother's biggest cheer leader courtside. I wouldn't blame Giannis for the Bucks decision to keep Thansis, they're not obligated to do so, If they can't make a decision of waiving Thanasis because how Giannis would feel or take it, then it's the management's fault not that of Giannis, because for all we know Thanasis is making less than 5% of Giannis is earning, and who knows if Thanasis contract is behind the scene at the expense of Giannis' and Thanasis is only getting paid from what could have been a potential addition to Giannis' deal (I'm not sure if such a thing exist NBA, but if players like Lebron and KD have reportedly being said to call the shots on players who should get traded in their own team, I won't be surprised Thanasis part of Giannis' contract with the Bucks).

Maybe Giannis is not vocal but I believe the manage is very well aware that Giannis brother could affect his decision making, and they don't want to gamble on that. It maybe a bad decision as that spot could be given to the other player that is more deserving, but it is what it is now, they know better than us, and they are in the business for so long, so anything that could be out of normal maybe normal for them, just to protect their biggest investment. Milwaukee Bucks won today but the Golden State Warriors without Stephen Curry gave them a hard time to take the win. It's really different if Curry is playing as the Warriors could use Curry in the clutch. 4th quarter is the most important one, and this guy, the Bucks outscored the Warriors, resulting to their defeat. Honestly, I didn't even expect that the Warriors will play that well without Curry, or maybe the Bucks are just kind of overrated team now?

But I do agree that the Warriors shows in this fight and gave Milwaukee a good run in this game. It's good to see the Klay Thompon's shooting slump is over now as he had back to back games that he is shooting good. Podziemski is another good acquisition from the Warriors, he is like Donte last year for them. But they need to be healthy all the way, Splash Brothers and then the whole team playing as a unit. CP3 though is out for the next 5-6 weeks if I'm not mistaken so that is a big factor for them entering the 1st half of the season. Hopefully he will be back after the All-Star break for a final push for a playoff spot. And so the Lakers continue their losing streak against the the Jazz.

This guy has earn a spot on the Warriors roster, he showed consistency on this games and he works hard inside. But as we all know, he is just a rookie (Correct me if I'm wrong), so it's hard to trust him when the game is on the line. Warriors give him a rest, that's why he didnt' play. https://www.mercurynews.com/2024/01/13/golden-state-warriors-steph-curry-to-miss-saturdays-game-against-milwaukee-bucks/Steph Curry will miss the Warriors’ game at Milwaukee on Saturday night to rest, the team announced. And so the Lakers continue their losing streak against the the Jazz.
Lebron also rested. But the Lakers were actually doing great early, they just could not sustain, possibly because Reaves fouled out early, and of course missing Lebron is a big thing.

Well, I am not going to talk trash about him just for trying to help his brother. All I want to say is he is obviously going to want the best for his brother. But whether the authority is going to agree or not is another story. At least that's how it should be. If the daughter is pressured to do something which they do not feel is going to be the best for the team just because of a player, that is probably wrong in my opinion. I can say that the Golden State Warriors are definitely missing the service of Stephen Curry. If he had been with the team, I think this could have been a win for the Golden State Warriors. But anyway, the Bucks performed dwell in this match and got a very well-deserved win.

I am not the biggest NBA fan but was able to watch the game live of the Atlanta Hawks vs Washington Wizards. While the Wizards are lower ranked, in the end they won pretty simple. The Hawks just missed way too many shots, I think they only had a percentage of 30% on their 3 point attemps while the Wizards had around 50%.

A good matchup today with a couple of the hottest teams in the league. This could be a good matchup in the postseason. The Los Angeles Clippers vs the Minnesota Timberwolves. I think the Timberwolves could come away with a win, but it will mostly depend on whether Minnesota’s defense can stop the Clippers offense in my opinion.

I think the Timberwolves could come away with a win, but it will mostly depend on whether Minnesota’s defense can stop the Clippers offense in my opinion. It's going to be a really though matchup, I know how efficient the Clippers offense can be this season, however, they'll need to be able to match up the Minnesota's physically oriented defense or they'll get bullied, and as for Minnesota these are they kind of test they'll need to live up to if they'd want to go deep into the post season, so they've got to start making the matches their priorities and be ready for multiple adjustments dynamically almost after every timeout call because they'll be facing multiple kinds of approach during matches like this, just like they did against Dallas Mavericks, a game which they eventually lost after looking so promising with few minutes left in the game. If they can't prove to be a good team in these kind of matches, then the furthest they'd ever go into the post season would be the second round at max!

I wasn't able to watch the game, and fortunately for me, I didn't bet on this game. The last time I bet on the Hawks they lost the game and so I will stay away from them if I were you. Yes, they beat a good team the last time in Sixers but after that they are inconsistent even playing at home. And with this lost against a lower ranked team like the Wizards, and with the trade surrounding Murray's name, I think just like other teams with some of their players on the trading block, they definitely affected mentally.

The Hawks just missed way too many shots, I think they only had a percentage of 30% on their 3 point attemps while the Wizards had around 50%.
It's a bad shooting night for the Hawks, 34% and it was their first time not to score 100 points in a game. And good for you staying away from the Hawks. They don't have a good record at home at 6-11. Maybe it has something to do with the weather? I don't know. As for Murray, he was questionable, but still play with that hamstring injury and scored just 11 points. Next with the Hawks is the Spurs and it's going to be hard to predict as well, whether Spurs can win or Hawks continue to struggle.

Another challenge for the Hawks, playing against the Spurs might be possible that they can take this game as Spurs also is not in shape I think the selection still missing some winning pieces. While, with Hawks once they start to heat up and get that rhythm, they can use that as advantage since they are no longer new with each other. Just need to improve that shooting statistic and start winning game again.

The trending Thanasis flop. LOL. Everyone is starting to believe that he's there on the Bucks just because of his brother, Giannis. But he was drafted by the New York Knicks, right? it seems that he's playing always like a joke and based on his percentage stats per game, the people's thought about him being on the Bucks so Giannis won't move to another team looks like a binding contract. I just can't stop laughing whenever I see discussions about this guy but hey he's part of the champion ring on 2021. While their other brother Kostas was also a champ too with the Lakers. This is why NEPOTISM is a bad thing. Thanasis is playing like he's even worse than a G-league player. I just don't know why the Bucks are still choosing to sign him. Maybe because of Giannis? He's like the "Tacko Fall of the Celtics" where whenever he's playing, fans are cheering about him when in fact, he might be one of the worst players in the league right now. Anyway, he will continue to be a laughingstock in the league for some time. I guess it's good so that the fans will be more entertained. Well, I have watched videos of it that tells directly that he's just been hire by the Bucks to do one thing and that's to make his brother Giannis stay to the team. Other than that, there is no other reason for him to get hired by the Bucks. But he sure does add that contribution to the team and that's to make Giannis decide to never leave the team, makes sense right? I like the strategy of the Bucks for making their star player stay for including his brother as part of their paycheck.

Honestly, I didn't even expect that the Warriors will play that well without Curry, or maybe the Bucks are just kind of overrated team now?
I don't think so, Khris Middleton had been playing better against the Jazz and then the Warriors. I think he is getting his rhythm back and all he needs is to be consistent again. Just one addition of a shooter makes them a phenomenal team because Giannis is a dominating player below the rim and then there's Lillard who can get hot anytime. I think the Bucks just underestimated the Warriors that's why the game was close for 3 quarters until they got serious in the 4th and put them away by piling up some scores.
That's true. Podziemski of Santa Clara. There's not much player who gets the spotlight from that school that's why there's one time Steve Nash watched Podziemski during a Warriors game. I love watching that guy play. There's so much energy in his body and I think he really loved playing ball. He can rebound, he can shoot, and handle the ball. Another unit of the Warriors that might get good minutes in the future just like Jordan Poole but I think Podziemski is better. About CP3, yeah let's hope that he will be back sooner, or else the Warriors will be in the play-in tournament again or worse they might not even enter it if they keep on piling up more losses. Wiggins played okay that night against the Bucks on the defensive end but I really want to see him step up his game on the offensive end. I think he is also one of the keys for the Warriors to get a winning streak.

Nuggets beat Pacers without Haliburton easily. Jokić didn't even sweat and did almost triple double with 25-12-9. Aaron Gordon played as Center, you can tell how bad Pacers' big guys. It looks like Heat will pass Hornets. Jaime Jaquez Jr. started great. When Adebayo joins him, things get easier. I'll stop watching the game and instead watch a movie, there'll be no surprises here.

PG having a bad night so far against the Wolves with 1 of 10 FG. Good thing Powell is having a better first half so the game is still close. Kahwi with more shot attempts in the first half which I find unusual but he is doing okay. [...] It looks like Heat will pass Hornets. Jaime Jaquez Jr. started great. Good usage of time I guess. Down by 20+ points with just 5 minutes remaining is basically game over. Nobody in that Hornets roster has the capability to turn this around unless the Heat will just let them score freely.

Ended up with 16 points from 5-19 shooting, and not only PG actually, even Harden struggles who finished 14 points from 4-14 shooting. Height is might, when the twin towers of the Wolves are playing great, they'll likely win, and in this game, Gobert and Towns contributed 15 and 17 respectively. They are the number 1 team for a reason, but it's still good to see that the LA Clippers has been tested, this game turns out a close contest despite the Wolves took control of the game early.
