Jazz seems to finally find their pace, and with this five wins in a row they calim a space in the playoff with a few games more, but still good to wake up early than later in the regular season, they are in the construction process of a team, so you need this streaks of win to achieve higher levels of confidence in the whole team.
Yeah, and now another win for them against the Indiana Pacers. Solid team. That's what they are right now. If it's not Sexton then it will be Clarkson, if it's not Kessler then it will be Collins. They have wide options of defensive and offensive players this season and I think they will keep this streak until it goes to 10. The only trouble that they might face is after the game against the Warriors, which will be a back-to-back game where they might get exhausted and lose the game. But like I said, they have a wide range of players that are stepping up their game and their stars could rest if they want one while trusting their bench to fill the hole for them.
This is the Jazz that we saw at the start of last season, very aggressive, the defensive rate is high, Kessler with 5 super blocks, and he might not be contributing offensively but his presence is always felt by the team.
Markkanen is so damn strong today, with 32 points and 10 rebounds in just 28 minutes of playtime. The Pacers were not given a chance to get close to them during the whole game. They have short runs but the Jazz always answers with short runs too.

Lakers won! Finally. I thought they were going to sink for a couple more games but finally, Anthony Davis stepped up his game big time. 27 points and 15 rebounds. This should be his normal stats every game.

Utah Jazz defeated Indiana at home and continues its superb performance. Match score 132-105
Indiana could only show resistance in the last period.
With this win, Utah rose to 9th place. The next victim will be Golden State in two days.
In the other match I was following, Los Angeles Lakers defeated Oklahoma on their home field. With a score of 112-105. The magnificent trio contributed well to the team in terms of scoring. (Lebron, Anthony, D'Angelo)
The match was competitive. The first half ended with a score of 50-50. The breaking point of the match was the 3rd period. When the Los Angeles Lakers opened the gap in the 3rd period, Oklahoma could not close the gap in the last period and the defeat was inevitable.

They can't be stop, I don't know when their win streak will stop, but the way they are playing now where everyone are involved, their chemistry makes their unbeatable. Let's enjoy their good run currently, 9-1 in their last 10 games, that's not the old Jazz their.

I was just wondering, it was rumored that JC is already in the trading block, will Jazz pursue the trade considering their great run?

A much needed win by the LA Lakers, and OKC just showed their youth and inexperience, it's probably what we will see in the playoffs.

The Lakers just had exactly the same standing today and last year throughout their 40 games of the regular season. This could be a bad omen, especially now that the team is talking a lot about trade and it involves significant names like DLo, Reaves, Rui, Vando, and Cam Reddish. These guys might be a good fit for any team and the Lakers are going to build another chemistry if they pull up another trade.

The Lakers players and coaching staff should look for the cause of their failures in team chemistry instead of trying to get rid of role players. Sure, guys like DLo, Reaves, Rui are sometimes very inconsistent, but I still believe these guys can be very useful to the team when they find their right rhythm of play.
By the way, the last rumor I saw is that the Lakers are interested in Dejounte Murray, but they don't want to include Reaves in that deal.

If they won't let Reaves go then that trade is not gonna happen. Well, it's evident that the Lakers are struggling but it's not too late for them, I mean they can still figure out how to start winning again. Like tonight, they are up against one of the hottest team in the NBA now, if they can beat this OKC team, then people will start talking positively about them and would probably forget that trade rumors.

Dlo showed he can still contribute to the team, like their previous game when he was the top score, although it was a losing effort but we saw what he can do. It's not the players, it's the coaching staff that needs to be fixed, get back to normal and everything will be fine.

It's not the player but more on the coaching capabilities, players are competitive but the way they are being rotate is something that
the team needs to adjust, they need to work hand in hand with these lapses.

They still have that chance if they start figuring out what they need to do in terms of adjustments, both defense and offense needs to be work out.

No need for the trade if they will be able to find that missing system that will help them to execute the right sets of game plan.

Absolutely, this has to be emphasized as it's easy to blame the players while in reality it's the coaching staff that are struggling to make an effective team.

I would like to use some example so fans would believe that it's really happening in the present season.

1- The LA Clippers= When Harden was acquired, their struggle was very evident, but look what they become now, they became a championship team already. I would say they are one of the best in the West now, although not yet at the top 3 as per standing.

2- Utah Jazz = It's the present. We are seeing a healthy Utah team and they had a good run. I know you guys had watched their previous games and just like me you are also amaze. So question, did the Jazz played like this before? No, so there's still a chance for the LA Lakers.

However this one is quite surprising as Jazz is not even a playoff team but they are on a big run now. On their winning streak, they include the Bucks, Sixers, and Nuggets as their victims, so I would not be surprise if they'll beat another team like the Boston Celtics as they have been so dominant now.

Utah Jazz has been performing really well in recent times. They have shown great performance. And if we talk about the last match, I have to say that they have shown a great performance. And they have been able to win this match pretty easily. Indiana Pacers have also shown a below per performance in this match. They had to do better. At least one player had to perform really well in this match for Indiana Pacers.  But that was not the case. None of them had an explosive performance which could save them.  And let's be honest, Indiana Pacers were pretty disheartened by the time they had reached the 4th quarter.  They were already so much behind in terms of points, that it was almost impossible for them to recover. And the third quarter made the difference a lot more before going to the 4th quarter.

Fans questioned the capability of Darvin Ham to lead the Lakers since for what talent he have he still struggle to strategize his team and get a lot of wins. Now they are in bad position and there's a chance that they can get a spot on play and got drop so bad in standings, They are so lucky to win against OKC and that might change  especially if there coach know how to rotate their players.

They still have a chance to figure out the problem and find a solution but if they can't fix there team and still after their recent win then lose again maybe its time to agree to the fans suggestion to change their coach then find those people who are right fit that can make their current talented players to work as a team.

They don't need to trade what they need is better system.

It was weird seeing NBA games on so early yesterday. I guess it was due to the MLK holiday? Was funny seeing Durant post so early in the morning that Joel Embiid only needed 3 quarters to destroy the Rockets. I had to check to see what he was talking about so early….

Nice to see the Lakers closing back in on .500. With the trade deadline approaching things will start getting interesting soon.

Jazz do seem to be getting some things under control, I did think that they would be going for tanking at the start of the season, so the fact that the yare winning is a surprise to me, but it is not a good thing neither for them. Right now they are 9th, not a good team, not going to win anything, but they are not tanking neither. So they will end up with neither a good playoff run, maybe not even be in playoffs, but they will also not be in the tanking system neither, not get a good draft pick neither.

This is the worst place to be, they get nothing from this, they will not become better next season neither, it is just not going to work for them. I hope that they could end up with a few more wins so they would at least be in playoffs.

I agree on this one. They may be inconsistent sometimes but these players have shown that in the times of need, they're there and they can perform well.

More time to get together and they'll be able to build chemistry. Most teams should just learn from the Nuggets journey that they don't have that much superstar caliber with their line up but they've built chemistry and they've won their first ever ring.

By the way, the last rumor I saw is that the Lakers are interested in Dejounte Murray, but they don't want to include Reaves in that deal.
While for me, Reaves is like a liability of defense but in offense he's good at and we've got a lot of that in the past so that's what I think Lakers is trying to keep.

They got everything going right now, I think they made adjusted like putting Nunn as their starting point guard. And obviously, Lauri Markkanen is still improving, how many 7 footers we have seen that can dribble the ball (that behind the back that he pulled against D'Lo), and then shoot the ball with ease. Another big man that can do that is Jokic, but I think Lauri belongs to the top along with Joel Embiid.

This is the worst place to be, they get nothing from this, they will not become better next season neither, it is just not going to work for them. I hope that they could end up with a few more wins so they would at least be in playoffs.
I think that Jazz has the potential to make the playoff, or worst be in the play-in but still the chance are still there if they keep on improving and be healthy throughout the season. The team has completely rebuild already from the last couple of years and if I'm not mistaken, only Clarkson, who remains as the remnant of the old Jazz. But still though, coming off the bench, Clarkson is still big in Utah.

Jazz can make it if they are consistent and won't get any injuries, but there are a lot of tough teams in the west I'm afraid they will still fall short , unless they will have another all-star that can bring them deep into the playoffs.

Very close game between the Nuggets and the Sixers. 2 of the best centers we have right now, the reigning MVP and the former MVP is going at each other, both have 2 personal fouls. I will be biased that I wanted the Sixers to win because I have a bet on them.

But in any case that they've lost in a very close game, I wouldn't mind. I will just enjoy the game as it is and see them trying to best each other. Need those supporting and role players as well to show something in this game. So let's see how it goes.

And a high scoring game as well. Both teams at least have 50% FG percentage at the half, and the score is tied at 78. This is a game where we get what we paid for, and for the bettors, it will add an extra layer of excitement since these two are a championship teams and the spread is just very close.

Embiid got 23, while Jokic got 15. It's going to be an easy double double for them at the end of the game, but what's more important is to win.

Good luck, and let's enjoy the game.

LA lakers actually have a good squad. there is lebron james, antony davis and more. maybe the coach just hasn't been able to maximize and collaborate his star players into a good game on the field. because the lakers players are not only good, their salaries are also exorbitant, aka high salary contract values.

That was like a preview of a potential NBA final. Philly looked stronger. It was a tie game until last minutes but Embiid pulled it off in last minutes. Both defenses were awful, score was 78-78 at half. Nuggets couldn't shoot anything in last 5 minutes. The score looks close but the game wasn't. Philly was way better and Embiid played like an MVP.

I watched the complete game. Denver was leading at least 60% or the game and went to the last quarter with a 5 point lead.
So where was that not a close game? Philly had their biggest lead in the 4th, before that it went back and forth with countless lead changes.

The deciding stretch was a 18:2 run in a couple of minutes of the last quarter, that's why Philly won.

Nuggets choked on last quarter, so the game wasn't close. If you don't know how to close a game it's not important how you play first three quarters.
Sixers was double digit ahead in last 2 minutes. The game finished with 5 points difference. People who look at the final score could think the game was close, but it wasn't.

Seems like you don't know what "being a close game" means.
It reflects on the game, not the final 5 minutes.

Many lead changes and ties throughout the game. And you say not a close game.  Roll Eyes
Whole thing could have gone both ways but Philly was the team making the deciding run.
Show me one more person with minimal basketball knowledge that would support your opinion.

Just to show this visually, if this graph doesn't show a close game then I don't know:

What actually would be true if you said this about the Suns vs Kings match. Suns won by 2 even though being down the complete match ( down 12 after 1st, down 17 after 2nd, down 12 after 3rd, up 2 after 4th ). That was not a close match even though the final result suggests that.

But talking about the Philly match that's just straight up wrong.
