Then no trade will happen. I think Lakers are good enough with the current roster, they just face some minor problems but now they are back on the winning track. 2 straight wins against 2 good teams, first OKC and now Dallas (irving and Luka), sure their confidence are now back.

Lakers have to live with their identity, they continue being a good defensive team and they need to protect Davis as he is the key for this team to win a championship again. A healthy Davis + Lebron is a big threat among the teams regardless of their ranking.
I have no doubt that they will protect Davis, I even believe that it is insane to trade him (unless LAL receives an extremely advantageous offer).
That's true, if AD and LJ stay healthy, and if a third player stays constant and helps this duo, LAL could become a dangerous team, especially in the playoffs (if they get a seed, and I think that's possible ).
Davis could anytime explode, he was the MVP on the IST championship, on that particular game only. Although per record it was Lebron. lol.
True, Davis is really something, a very special big man who can shoot 3's as well, very clutch with his FT's so I don't think the Lakers will trade him as thats not gonna help Lebron as he continue to build his legacy.

In the next few days, Lakers will play against the Nets, I believe the LAL will win... Brooklyn had their fourth consecutive loss and Lakers, I can feel that game after game they are more confident, anyway, I believe it will be an interesting game to see.
If Nets can't beat the low ranking Portland, how can they handle the LA Lakers? Of course the Lakers will win here and they'll up their win streak to 3.

About that Pascal Siakam trade, here is an article made by NBCsports to identify the winners and losers of it.
https://www.nbcsports.com/nba/news/winners-and-losers-from-pascal-siakam-trade-to-pacers
Winner: Pascal Siakam
Quote
For all the talk of fit and chasing another ring, Pascal Siakam wanted to be somewhere he will get paid next summer. Enter Indiana, a team with cap space that knows it has to fork over to get and keep stars and its market — there is no way the Pacers would give up three firsts without a wink-and-a-nod that Siakam would re-sign with them this summer.
Winner: Indiana Pacers
Quote
Siakam also helps in the non-Haliburton minutes — Indiana has a -2.9 net rating in the minutes their star point guard is on the bench. Siakam can take over the offense in some of those minutes and keep them afloat.
Loser: Any other team eyeing Siakam this summer
Quote
For teams with cap space this summer, Pascal Siakam was going to be a prime target. Not anymore. While things may go sideways and Siakam decides to test the free agent market anyway, there is no chance this trade was put together without some nod-and-a-wink agreement on a new contract for him this summer.
Winner: Toronto Raptors
Quote
Also, It’s a win in the big picture because the Raptors have picked and committed to a direction for the franchise, rebuilding around Scottie Barnes, something they needed to do.

Like I said earlier before the trade happened. The Raptors are waving the white flag and they are on a journey to rebuilding which I think is a great move from them. They saw nothing was happening for the team and it was time to move on. They already traded great important pieces like OG Anunoby (recent), Kyle Lowry, and Fred VanVleet, it's time to move on and create a new roster that would highlight Scottie Barnes.
Better do it early than act late. Soon they might not find some good trades to best fit their goal and now they are a winner because of the three first-round picks they received. Who knows if one of those players will be the next star of the NBA?
Indiana Pacers on the other hand could start building chemistry with the other players as soon as possible and all he needs is to wait for Haliburton to come and I am sure they will be more of a scary team. The Pacers lack the defense and a big man, but Siakam can do both offense and defense so I think it's a big win for them.

Can this be because the coach of Raptors talk about Barnes being the face of the league? He talk about it during postgame interview on their loss to the LA Lakers where he was complaining about the foul called in the 4th quarter that he think obviously favor the Lakers.

So if Barnes is going to be the main star player of the Raptors, that's quite interesting because he isn't really score a lot, like this season he only averated 20PPG, without Siakam, can that improve?

The Lakers players and coaching staff should look for the cause of their failures in team chemistry instead of trying to get rid of role players. Sure, guys like DLo, Reaves, Rui are sometimes very inconsistent, but I still believe these guys can be very useful to the team when they find their right rhythm of play.
By the way, the last rumor I saw is that the Lakers are interested in Dejounte Murray, but they don't want to include Reaves in that deal.

If Dejounte Murray is that good of a player they can bust out Reaves, in my opinion, but if they are seeing the potential with him then I think the Lakers now are just fine what they need is experience and not new players, they have new talented players but for sure required some experience in playing in the playoffs, and some guide from the veteran, but right now what they teach on the Lakers team was how to flop to get a free throw, what can I say this is the worst officiating that is happening right now for sure if I had a team in the NBA I will surrender and make a default win for the Lakers every time they are the opponent of my team, just to not get frustrated about the result and this could be a sign of boycotting the lakers game,

Utah Jazz defeated Indiana at home and continues its superb performance. Match score 132-105
Indiana could only show resistance in the last period.
With this win, Utah rose to 9th place. The next victim will be Golden State in two days.
In the other match I was following, Los Angeles Lakers defeated Oklahoma on their home field. With a score of 112-105. The magnificent trio contributed well to the team in terms of scoring. (Lebron, Anthony, D'Angelo)
The match was competitive. The first half ended with a score of 50-50. The breaking point of the match was the 3rd period. When the Los Angeles Lakers opened the gap in the 3rd period, Oklahoma could not close the gap in the last period and the defeat was inevitable.

Tyrese Haliburton is a big loss for the Indiana Pacers, but because the focus of the Indiana Pacers is not in their 100 percent, while the Utah Jazz right now is an incredible team, for sure the Indiana Pacers got themselves great players but because they are used in having Haliburton around and having his play making it is a different atmosphere but the Indiana Pacers would need to find way in making their own play without Haliburton,

I agree, they have the referees backing them up as well, so they don't have to fear anything that is why, how I love the Toronto Raptors' voice in frustration that the officiating the game and the NBA did a great job in giving the Lakers 36 free throws  while they only got 13, he was outraged in what has happened to the game between the Lakers and the Raptors for sure it is not what we are expecting if this has happened to the Raptors for sure they can also do it with the other teams, now Anthony Davis is the only player that is really amazing in the team if he is gone because of the injury then the Lakers are toast,

Pistons are on par with being the WORST team in NBA history. Their current win percentage stands at 0.098 and the worst ever was set by the Bobcats in 2011-12 where they managed to attain a win percentage of only 0.106 for the entire season. Keep in mind that Pistons have already achieved the longest loss streak at 28 losses in the row, this season. We are witnessing history in the making folks.

It's worth noting that the 11-12 regular season was shorter than usual due to the lockout. So, the Bobcats could have had a slightly higher winning percentage if that regular season had been 82 games. I mean, now the Pistons really could be called the worst team in NBA history. By the way, they have played exactly half of the games of the regular season and have only 4 wins.

I agree, it's not that they will just trade Davis without getting picks and younger players to play with Lebron. I think everyone is on the trade block in the Lakers right now and only Lebron James and AD are protected.

It's interesting that Dejonte Murray's name always pop up with the Lakers trade, and now that Siakam is already with the Pacers, I think the Lakers will make aggressive move before the deadline, Lavine is also making some noise so let's see.

They have a very bad record now, and they have a long losing streak this season, tied with the Sixers in the past. 4 wins and 37 losses, I can't imagine to see a team having this kind of record, certainly there's a problem with the coaching job and its players chemistry.

However, there's still time to change that though as there are also other teams that also have a poor record, namely.

History after history is being broken. Cheesy Pistons needs some overhaul on that team. But if you look at the paper, they do not look like the worst team.
Cade Cunnigham
Bojan Bogdanovic
Monte Morris
Isaiah Stewart
Jaden Ivey
Alec Burks
Killian Hayes
Mike Muscala
Most players are known as good bench players and some made their names in the basketball industry. Bojan did great to break their losing streak, Alec Burks made some pretty good buzzer beater last time, and Jaden Ivey can score quite a lot if he wants to. Some says they should hire Bill Laimbeer as the new head coach, poor Coach Monty being thrown away again. Give him a proper roster first then it might change everything.

Shorter season, yes. They still had played 68 games that season and anyway, it is win% not total number of wins. In 68 games, the Bobcats managed only 7 wins. While the 2nd worst team in the league had 20 wins while playing 2 lesser games that the Bobcats.

The Pacers lack the defense and a big man, but Siakam can do both offense and defense so I think it's a big win for them.
It seems though that they have traded everyone from their championship team when Kahwi lead it? There was talks that they can still make it when Kawhi leaves but it looks like that it was not the case for the Raptors and I do agree that they are now in the rebuilding phase, perhaps the last important pieces to say that the Raptors will have a new look has been traded in Pascal Siakam.

But I was surprised that he goes to Pacers or at least Indiana is very much interested on him. And I do agree that they are the winner in the trade as we will see a immediate impact for them as Pascal is going to be in their starting 5 and help the team since Haliburton is still out. I don't think that they lack a big man inside, they still have Miles Turner. Obi and Pascal though will have to fight it out for the PG position, but there is going to be depth from the Pacers.

Pascal is definitely going to be a very big asset for the Indiana Pacers. In my opinion, he is going to contribute to the team a lot as well. So I think it is easy to say that this was a win for the Indiana Pacers. I think we can also say any doubt that the player is also in his prime time, right? At least that's what I think when I consider his age. Yes I cant deny sometimes the performance from the Indiana pacers has been a little inconsistent in recent times. however I think they have the capability of improving the performance and being a lot more consistent.

I also think that Pascal was because the team was very interested in him, an surely  this was a good decision. Now if this was a good decision or not for the team, we will be able to know that later by watching him perform.

2 wins in a row, that's a great comeback after a losing streak. Those are home games win but that's okay, maybe next time they'll also start winning on the road. On their game against the Dallas, Russell has the biggest contribution, this guy was the topic that will be traded, but with his game now, I think the Lakers will change their mind.
Russell had 29 points from 11-20 and 5-7 beyond the arc, if he'll stay consistent as this, Lakers is going to be one of the teams to beat.

Good they are now tied with their loss and they should really exert all effort to stop it right here and get some more wins than keep losing to some easy teams. If they can only maintain this kind of play, they can actually make it to the NBA playoffs and surely they will play different games there until they meet the Denver Nuggets once again, since they don't have the right man to stop him, then it will be hard for them as usual on how to get through them in the playoffs. therefore, if they really think to survive such a scenario again, they should act swiftly and acquire the right players to increase their chance of winning against the Nuggets.

I do think that Davis "was" great, but I do not see him that great anymore, Lebron is aging, and he is still carrying a big load on that team, he should not be asked this much, he has given his everything to this game and he should be able to age a little bit and not be pressured into being the best in any team.

This means, Davis has a responsibility, which is being the best in that team, and right now that's argued, some may say that he is the best player in that team, but it is not clear, I think it could be said that Lebron is still number one there, and that's the issue. Davis should have been clearly the best one, like not even remotely close to discussion, if it is open for discussion then it means he didn't do what was asked of him.

IMO this trade made the Pacers a very strong team in the East. I will have to see how the chemistry is between everyone, but if it's good then the Pacers are going to be very tough to beat. Definitely could go very deep in the playoffs with the acquisition.

Yes, they made their team stronger and more versatile with the acquisition of Pascal and didn't lose much of the team itself. Although they take that risk to give the Raptors future picks, but we don't know how good or bad those future picks is to by now we can say that the risk might pay off dividends early if Pascal will blend it with the Pacers, whether starting five or coming from the bench to contribute. And when Haliburton comes back, it will be a different Pacers as at least they now have a great second offensive options. And Pascal can extend the floor as well, he is a good iso player as well and then can put up a decent defense. So the East is going to be a tough conference when it comes to playoff and it's hard to predict who will win and there could be surprise like what the Heat did last season.

Davis is definitely the best on the team right now at least in the regular season.  Without AD on the court they have no go to guy since lebron handles a lot of the ball handling.  He can't ball handle and crash the paint all game too, Lakers go as AD goes.  Not to say lebron isn't great it's just AD is more important to that team right now.

I missed the trade of Siakam to Indiana Pacers, was it a good decision for the Raptors? I don't know but this is what's permanent in the league, we're always going to see trades everywhere. And even for the franchise players, it's now possible that they get traded away based on the interest of the management.

We can just always think of the "IF" they've retained the champion roster that they've got. Well, it's just part of the history now and with the Nuggets in the future, I think that we might see the same thing.

For me the Raptors won this trade. Imagine getting three 1st-rounders for Pascal Siakam but I think Pascal Siakam will also do well in Indiana Pacers. I like the move for both teams. This is benefits for the Raptors in their rebuilding process.

Currently, Chris Boucher is the only player remaining from the 2019 Toronto Raptors championship roster. The championship team caliber has been gone for a long time for the Raptors since Kawhi left.

It was a good decision for the Indiana Pacers. Having Pascal added on their roster makes them more relevant and even stronger. We've got another team to watch out and let's see how is this going to change their current rank from overall #7 and #7 as well on the Eastern conference.

I also think that Pascal was because the team was very interested in him, an surely  this was a good decision. Now if this was a good decision or not for the team, we will be able to know that later by watching him perform.
Maybe it was long overdue and Indiana really eyes him for a long time. When most of the teammates that he's got during their championship days have been scattered in every team in the league.

Yes indeed, Siakam is something who can really bring those productions that Pacers needed, I just hope that he can quickly connect
his skills with the rest of his new teammates.

It's interesting to see if how they will manage now to keep their position and have that drive to move forward to the next round.

Raptors surely got attracted with those first round picks that Pacers offered to them, like you mentioned, all the star players during that
season that they become champions are all gone,

It's about time for Siakam and the Raptors to decide and now is the best timing for them, what will be the outcome still unknown, only
time can tell if which side will be the benefactors of this trade.
