Poor D'Lo, his name keeps popping up for a trade between the Lakers and the Hawks,

And as per report, the trade might look like this,

Lakers get:

- D’Angelo Russell

It's not yet final and official, but it looks like after playing good in the last couple of games for the Lakers, D'Lo is on the move again.

If it's going to be the actual trade, poor D'LO. Goes to a team that's no way going to be a champion caliber with their roster. I've read that Cousins has talked about Trae Young that he should leave the team and asked to get traded if he wants to get a championship.

That makes sense, it's going to be D'Lo that's going to be left there and not gonna be a good team to continue honestly.

A win for the Lakers but poor thing D'Lo gets transferred.

The Boston Celtics are 20-0 at home. I don't remember seeing such a good home performance in years. 1985-86 Celtics went 40-1 at home, and that was almost 40 years ago! I don't know how long this year's Celtics will remain undefeated, but instead of trying to break that record, they better be champions like the '86 Celtics. With a roster this good, a championship after so many years is what is expected of them. Tatum especially needs it to put his name up there with the best.

They aren't undeafeated anymore at home, Nuggets beat them in a very close game, it was just a 2 point win by the Nuggets but it's huge for the Celtics fans. Maybe they can start creating a winning streak again, but one thing was proven that game is hat Celtics are still the same team like the previous season. What I'm saying is, they are not so good in the last minutes of the game, in crucial times, while the Nuggets are living on that with a clutch Murray, positive things could happen.

The Denver Nuggets were able to beat the Boston Celtics but it was a very close match and I think the match could have gone either way. Celtics were ahead in the first 2 quarters but the Denver Nuggets were able to bring things back. They were able to play very well in the third quarter and in the 4th they just somehow kept the advantage that they had. In the end, the game ended on a very close score of 100-102 in favour of denver nuggets. And that also happened because of the unbelievable performance from Jokich and Murray. Definitely, a very interesting match to watch.

Lakers again!

They lose to the struggling Nets. I don't understand this team, they can beat strong teams but could lose to a team that are on a losing streak. The way they are playing aren't even competitive enough, they start with a good lead but in the 2nd half, it's all Nets as their 3 point shoots are falling.

What I saw in that game is Lebron complaining a lot, he didn't get the foul and he continues to explain, and being the leader of the team, it affects the overall performance of a team. I think Lebron is the problem here, what do you think?

It looked like thomas was absolutely unstoppable for lakers. And the performance by Lakers was not up to the mark as well. i absolutely understand the point that you are making about Lebron.  He is captain and if he loses his mind over something in the match it is definitely going to affect the team mindset.

Okay we understand that it might have been a mistake, they should have given you the foul but that doesn't mean you keep complaining and not concentrating in the game right ? I actually don't see any problem with him explaining, but if a decision does not go your way you being the captain and one of the best player ever,  you keep playing and try to keep the team motivated. But that was lacking in my opinion..

I dont think he is the problem but his attitude was certainly a problem for his team in the match.

They were up but not really in control of the game. I can't remember they were up double digit against the Nuggets, so I find it a close game. Murray as what we've seen is the most consistent guy on the Nuggets roster, without him, they won't be able to hand the Celtcis their first lose this season.

But don't worry, they already made a history for the season's best start in the Celtics franchise. A lose is a lose, there's nothing we can do about it and its not really a surprise because they're up against the defending champion.

Indeed, there's nothing that they can do to change the outcome but instead, they can work it out and find that missing piece to make it better
on their next upcoming games.

I like the way they are playing the game, but we all know that it is the defending champ that they are facing, maybe a possible head-to-head for the finals.

Just my own cent though, but very possible if both teams will perform and continue winning their games.

I do see Denver doing fine, but with how Jokic is looking like he doesn't care, and with Celtics trying to bring one home, I feel like they are better. I don't care who won some regular season game that doesn't really matter but when it comes to building a squad, I would say there are like 3 positions Celtics are clearly better with one in contention and one clearly favouring Denver (Jokic).

So all in all, if Celtics could go to finals, there is a possibility that they could win. However, east is not that empty handed neither, may not look like a great deal right now but Bucks are doing fairly well, Dame and Giannis will figure out how to play better together eventually and if they do that before the playoffs, they may cause some serious threat.

Looking forward to tonight's knicks game.  Homecoming for rj barrett and immanel quickley.  It's a pretty unassuming game but I bet this one is a highly competitive one.  Expecting to see julius randle bully rj around.  Knicks are quietly having a good year and ever since they traded them away and got OG they are the best defensive team in the league over those 10 games.  They still need one more piece, Clarkson would be a great add for the bench.

IMO, one of the interesting things about this game is how two of the best teams score so low. Although they are offensive superpowers in the league now, the defense was tight in this game. Kinda like euroleague. When defense is tough, the game is more enjoyable to me. Nuggets reminded people in this game how tough they can get. When they become serious, it becomes quite hard to stop them. Murray and Jokic combined for a magnificent 69 points on amazing efficiency. Fantastic victory by the reigning champions over the Celtics, who are regarded by many as the best NBA team.

He should stop thinking of getting traded again as that would not help his legacy. It's very obvious that he is not as great as Lebron who can easily bring his team to the championship during his prime. Durant is a good scorer though, but as we can see, Booker's performance have decline, and probably that's the reason why they are losing on their recent games.

It's still early, they can still figure out to win. And no excuses for them as they are fully healthy, so they have to play like they used to.

I think what's missing here is the likes of Ayton which Nurkic where not able to provide.

Kevin Durant should stop thinking something like that because it could not lead to something really great, right now The situation of the Phoenix Suns is just getting worse for sure they could find something that could bring them back again, but Kevin Durant is not that consistent anymore unlike LeBron James that still mostly faster inside the court he is getting the affect of father time getting into his performance, while Devin Booker is having his slumps back then after getting back from an injury, but right now their latest game Devin Booker is getting back in his natural performance scoring 52 points again,

Utah won 4 of the 5 matches it played at home, excluding the postponed Golden State match. In its last game, it lost 129-134 to Oklahoma at home. After the Lakers and Clippers, Oklahoma defeated Utah, which was in great form, in its last away match. Oklahoma's last away game will be against Minnesota on January 21, but I don't think it can beat Minnesota.
The Utah Jazz will now go on a 6-game road series.
If they really aim for the top positions, they need to get at least 3 wins out of these 6 matches as a team.
I really like the Utah Jazz as a team and I believe they can get at least 4 wins.

Like you I also like Utah Jazz aswell, they are now doing great after their experience last season, for sure it is not just Jordan Clarkson and Lauri Markkannen who are making highlights for the team but they can also include Collin Sexton who has an amazing contribution for the team, John Collins that is really amazing and I think need to have more time to improve more for sure he will give a team a great boost when some of the main players is having a shooting slump, and Simone Fontecchio is getting there aswell but his truly remarkable contribution was his block and steals for the team but for sure getting some minutes will get the team into something, that is why Utah Jazz is some team that is making some progress,

What can we say there is no backup from their real MVP players after the incident with the Toronto Raptors and the Coach is having some BS officiating inside the game as we can all see the leading Free Throws that the referee is giving the team were insane and that has been questioned for sure, and so maybe the officiating have lie low for a bit so the issue would subside for a while but for sure they will eventually get back in what they are doing in no time, and it was really hilarious that the NBA is letting this slide like that,

Thinking about something like that can destroy their current chemistry so I think that's not really best for them or anyone to think especially they are struggling. Maybe much better if they could focus on their game to see much better result or have some good developments happening on their team. KD is not consistent this season maybe due to some situation happening in Suns but if they always show that inconsistency and their coach can't find good solution to their struggle then their team will totally fail this season. Their 3 star combination is strong already but they can't manage to make this roster works well that's why they struggle.   Booker performance is really great so let see if he can sustain that since that's what their team need at the moment.

Definitely it will be a great game as IQ and RJ Barrett are going back to Madison Square Garden. And with that, it will be very competitive that I think the Raptors might win this game. But we will see, we still have time before the trading deadline and for sure there will be a lot of high profile names being moved around, like Lavine and Dejonte Murray, whose name are being link to a trade to the Lakers.

My team, Utah Jazz, lost to Houston Rockets 127-126 in the overtime period of the match, which ended 115-115 in normal time. I was saddened by this result because my favorite team that I follow in the NBA is the Utah Jazz. What makes me happy is playing in Houston. Alperen Şengün gave a great performance. He played with 37 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. Alperen is only 21 years old and is playing well in Houston, even though he has a rookie season. I am proud of him for being a citizen of my country, even though he made me sad today.

Antman missing 2 free throws out of 3. So the best strategy is to miss the last shot to try and take the offensive rebound and shoot a three because the OKC Thunder lead is three. Sadly, he didn't hit the rim on the last shot and so they were forced to take the foul and lose with 3 seconds remaining in the game. That's rare for Anthony Edwards, I bet he was rattled or he was exhausted shouldering the offense for his team.

Utah Jazz losing against the Houston Rockets, now that 2 consecutive losses from them, and I hope this will not affect their confidence. They are a strong team, they just need to win again and gain back that winning streak.
Jazz had the 4-point lead 2 minutes in overtime but Sengun was just too awesome. It's like a battle of two future stars, Sengun and Markkanen. That was definitely an entertaining game. I hope Jabari Smith is okay though, he was limping as he went to the dugout. That's one heck of a good game for the Rockets, how I wish we had more games like this. It was fun!

I think the errors made by Clarkson and Sexton made them lose, if they decided to go with Lauri, then probably there's a decent chance that the Jazz would complete a comeback win.

Not a clutch player. I know he is not a good FT shooter, but missing all 3 (last 1 intentional) FT when it is needed most to tie the game is not a good sign of a great player. He said Jordan can't guard him, lol. he can't even shoot FT.

He is an underrated player, you know when OKC will win, and that is when SGA is ballin. First half stat, he already made 19 points but struggled a bit in the 3rd due to the defense of the Timberwolves, size wise, Wolves have the edge. But in the 4th quarter, when SGA was well rested, he lead his team to mount a comeback from a double digit deficit, and that's when the momentum was shifted to the OKC.

And it's going to be a big test for them in the playoff, and we might compare them to at least the Sacramento Kings from last season. But hopefully they will have the mental toughness if lets say they go on the second round and faces a great and experience team and bring the best out of team.

Edward lacks of maturity in the court and we can understand since he's still young but once he develop maturity in the game for sure we can see him still got the confidence to contribute especially on crucial minutes.

SGA doesn't get much attention since maybe he's teammate Chet also stole the limelight on their team that's why maybe SGA didn't get much attention since media is on focus to cover the development of Chet rather than the contribution of SGA on their team. Also they are more interested on other big stars rather than putting the name of new guy in the scene since for them covering them more give them good views. And its really unexpected how OKC performs this season and for sure no one expect them to reach this far.

But we can't say yet that there rebuilding process is good since they need to show first that they can pass the first round in playoffs and even advance on next round. Also if they reach into finals and bring their current line up there for sure we can say that everything they done is really worth it.

Unfortunately he is not in the top 3 now. Although his numbers are good but he is very limited with points unlike other superstars where they could get points, rebounds and even assists. But who would not notice this young man, he is now the franchise player of OKC and with his young and talented teammates, I wouldn't be surprise if they'll reach the playoffs, even in the Finals as they just beat the number 1 team.

Actually, IMO, the teams to beat in the West are only Clippers and Nuggets, at least for now, and OKC are capable of doing that as long as they remain healthy.

OKC needs to learn how to play physical basketball as SGA will surely be targeted since he is the energizer of the team. Their game against the Minnesota, that was a very physical game as they were only held to 102 points, but I'm glad they're able to figure out how to win, and that's a road win.

Could this really happen? Or are they just rumors?
In these last Lakers games, D'Angelo Russell was performing so good and was helping the team a lot, now, if he actually goes to Atlanta, it will be difficult for the Hawks to get a seed in the playoffs, and if they get, I have no doubt that it will be eliminated in the first rounds of the playoffs.
