Even until now, you don't see a team play in that roster. They are all trying to be the star of the team and maybe just expecting a good contract in their next team when they fill their stats. Actually, Poole might be the perfect player for this kind of team.

I can see shades of the Spurs in this team last season. Before CP3 arrived, the team seemed like everyone was trying to outshine each other. But then a true leader came in, improved their chemistry, and turned things around, now the Spurs are playing with great teamwork.

I think what this team is lacking is a veteran player with a coach-like mentality to guide them. Without that, it feels like they’re bound to tank again this season, especially with this kind of situation happening within the team.

Oh yeah. I would not dismiss the San Antonio Spurs yet. They may be on the 10th spot but they won 6 of their last 10 games which means they are not that weak. The only problem is, that the West at this time is filled with great players. The Thunder have SGA, the Rockets have a very strong core and bench, and the Mavs have, but don't even ask.
If the Spurs are in the East, they might even be in the top 5 of it but they are not so they will have to keep their roster get stronger. Wemby and CP3 will not be enough, even though they have the greatest coach in the NBA, it will still not be enough. They need more roleplayers, surround Wemby with good passers and playmakers and I bet Spurs will be back on their position just like the old days.

I didn't see it coming... Houston Rockets are really cooking this season!    So far they have been really determined to play for the lead in the Western Conference. Being at the 2nd position is really impressive considering how bad they were in the past. There are still so many more games to play maybe but I admire their passion for direct qualification for 1/8-finals. I hope they make it.

Alperen Şengün is also giving his best. He is one of the most valuable players for Rockets. I would love to see him being more successful with his current team.

Same with Jalen Green, he was touted when he enter the league, although he didn't win the rookie of the year, but he has a lot of potential and so he has a good break out year. Some with Brooks, and we will forget about Fred VF with his huge contract with the rockets.
So everything is falling into pieces for them, but it's a long season and we don't know if they can keep up with this momentum.

In terms of starters they can cope up with other teams and as they keep playing together we do see improvements though still a long season with lots of games to play, but the chance is decent for them to move forward, their current position is good earning the top 2 spot and with the way they executing their system showing that they've got a good blend playing together.

Just need to play asit is without getting any serious injuries, if they can maintain their competitiveness then advancing to the next round is not by far.

I don't wanna say it but ..... I love it. This team is a disgrace. All that talent but so much mismanagement and all the trouble surrounding the main clown Embiid, awful to watch them falling apart. Going basically allin on a 34 year old player, paying him 211 million for 4 years is just something else. Giving his injury history this was a big gamble and they lost it. Now their 2 main guys always often injuries and one of them, even though being only 30 years old, doesn't want to play in back to backs. 

Front office should act quick I think.

Truly, that team is one hell of a scary bunch. Alperen Şengün has been a good facilitator for the team and Jalen Green is using his youth to be a damn good player. Somehow, I see Ja Morant in him during his younger days although Ja is not old yet.
But tomorrow, they will be tested by the top team of the Western Conference, the OKC Thunder. If they win that match, I bet they can also reach the top of the West and keep it that way. They will be tied with 15 wins, although the Rockets have more losses, so they will still be in the second spot. However, defeating the Thunder will be a big boost to their confidence.

They are really bad this year, the team's roster is not that bad actually but there is something missing in the team and they can't win games. Joell Embiid is not a player who can play well in every game, his statistics are not very good this year. We haven't seen him on the field in the last games anyway. If he can't contribute more than 30 points to the score, they don't have much chance of winning the game. They managed to win the game against Detroit, it was their 4th win this year

His skills is truly still there but the problem is his body can’t keep up on his move due to many injury suffered and the fear of being injured again a psychological battle he is dealing right in addition to his physical struggle.

Sad to say, his value not that high anymore since team is just wasting money for paying on his premium while he can’t deliver already.

He might follow the shadow of Derick Rose career although his game is still not that low quality.

They're like a powerhouse last season and for the start of this season but then, with all of the games being played they're really in a bad situation now.

I guess what we have to expect from them is nothing. Embiid has got some attitude issue and his teammates are addressing that. Maybe the management has to step in or did they already but they have no control on him.

It's too early to say that Paul though is out of his prime, he can still ball, but I don't know, maybe he was just unlucky to go to teams that even though have a lot of superstars, they can't go over the hump. In OKC him and Westbrook or even Carmelo really did pair good, however, Lillard has other things in mind. And in Clippers, him and Kahwi, but we all know that both of them are fragile and if I'm not mistaken, they haven't had a season wherein they play full 82 games together.

And with the Sixers, he started with Joel Embiid injured and himself as well. So give him some time to blend in with the Sixers, they might get the groove maybe in the next 10 games. If not then, maybe the Sixers is going to tank and George having this kind of unbelievable string of bad luck.

No Jalen Brown, no problem with the Celtics so far as they are leading double digits against the home team the Cavs. Cleveland has difficulty executing their play as the Celtics is really very tenacious and playing good defense.

And if the Cavs are going to play lack luster in the 4th, the Celtics are going to win this fight. And most likely the hype on the Cavs will die down as they storm at the start and most likely in their 3rd consecutive lost. And Celtics taking the lead in the Eastern conference.

They went all in on one player, built a team around him and in the end, they'll be the ones that will be suffering. I'm talking about Embiid and how he is this regular season. We're nearly a quarter of the regular season already and the still can't find the rhythm. Even Maxey called out Embiid already because of being late on practices and many more.

As for PG, I still don't know why many are still looking up to him like he's still an all-star. I mean giving a max contract to him now and he's performing like that. That'll hurt the whole Sixers for the next 2-3 years just because of his contract unless something unexpected happens to the team and suddenly they become better. I don't want to conclude about the Sixers, but I really need to because of how awful they started the regular season. The highest that they can get is a play-in spot. They won against the Piston yesterday though, but Embiid is out.

I believe we are seeing another big 3 again that'll not play that much together in the whole regular season because of injuries just like what happened with KD, Kyrie and Harden back when they're still in Brooklyn.

The Cleveland Cavaliers got revenge against the Boston Celtics tonight in a close game. The win lets them hold onto the better record as we reach the 1/4 of the season mark. It seems to be flying by. Cleveland is by far the biggest surprise for me this year. I didn’t expect they would even make the playoffs and they’re leading the league.

Playoff wise I definitely had them on the radar, at least for the play-in tournament so to speak. But yeah, I guess nobody expected them to lead the league in wins after around 25% of the season is played. It's funny to see them on top with only the 11th best defensive rating actually, but their offensive rating has them to 2nd place, just behind the Knicks.
Let's see how long they can keep this up, hopefully they won't get some significant injuries or something because it's always nice to have a underdog story going as long as possible!
