Knicks really struggling with the rebounds I guess it safe to say that Boston will win this opening night. Not just rebounds but also 3 points shots (Edit: End of the 1st half Knicks 4/14 in 3pts line). Mikal Bridges also look like doesn't know what his doing can't see the chemistry of the Knicks players right now. I guess Tatum can make triple double tonight if he plays more than 35mins tonight very great 3 points percentage for Boston Celtics tonight.

The Knicks have a whole lot to do defensively, I agree! They were quite impressive offensively that was evident by the numbers and shooting percentage even when trailing by more than 20 points, but they lack chemistry defensive, hopefully they'll improve on that, I understand KAT is their big man and is primarily responsible for a number of their rebounds, but Josh Hart and Mikal Bridges too need to step up their efforts with the lose balls, perhaps Hart was also right when he said he doesn't understand his role in the team anymore. The communication needs to be better between these 2 players, and OG as well, they'll got know who's picking who up from half court and who's guiding who, the open 3's attempts allowed were far too much to not get punished for by a team like the Boston Celtics.

Not to take anything away from the Celtics terrific offense and general performance, they are still a team to beat this season.

Since the talks are about signing contract. We can remember about Giannis giving a clue to the Bucks management that he might transfer to another team if they won't win a chip this season. Well, the Bucks has answered with this;

There are rumors that the Bucks are interested in trading MarJon Beauchamp to open a roster spot. Apparently, it's just to re-sign a contract with Thanasis, which I think is a very bad decision from the Bucks' management. I'm wondering what kind of value Thanasis can bring to the team in the upcoming season. Will he be cheering up the players in the locker room or handing out Gatorade and towels on the bench?

I voted for the Celtics to win the upcoming championship.  For me it's hard to see anyone else winning it as dominant as they have been and as far as I can tell, they are pretty much bringing back everyone?  

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm still having some sadness that the Olympics are over already.  The men's basketball tournament was so ridiculously exciting and a handful of those players being legends that we will never get to see again.  For me, I liked it better than the regular season.

It was a great tourny but as a knicks fan this might be the best team they fielded since the 1990s so been waiting for the squad to get on the floor since the season ended.  Glad they play Boston game one as a little check on how they stack up.  October is so great for sports...

It is. How I wish it was a longer tournament because I think that's one of the exciting events this year and it's all because other countries are now showing a good chance to win the Gold medal. It became more competitive which makes it more entertaining.

Anyway, the New York Knicks lost today and they look strong on the paper but they badly need that chemistry to work out. Great roleplayers, stars, Brunson, and a great fanbase, they need a win to boost their confidence in their next games.
Boston Celtics on the other hand showed again why they are the champions, Tatum went nuts on the offensive end and the defense was suffocating from White and Jrue Holiday. It's a strong small-ball lineup.

The crowd would have lost it if Bronny hit that 3 on the pass from LeBron. That would have been an epic moment. Unfortunately, Bronny couldn’t deliver, but he made history being out there a couple minutes even if he had a +/- of -5 and only recorded a rebound. Anthony Davis stole the show tonight. Jayson Tatum had himself a night in the other game as well.

Yes, I also thought that the Wolves are going to win, but we forget that there is this thing called homecourt advantage, and with that, in the first quarter alone, the Lakers did play good, with Rui exciting the crowd with his dunks and then AD playing defense.

ANT scored, but he has missed some good view on the three point line. And then Bronny and Lebron, playing along side to a regular game. Yeah, it's true the intensity is very much different in regular games moving forward. And so with that criticism on Klay Thompson performing badly with the Mavs, maybe when he step on the court this time, it will be very different game for him.

It might be good though if Tatum went for the 3 point record as well, 8-11 for him in this game. How about how dominant AD in their games the Wolves, 36 points, 16 rebounds, he even had a block against Rudy Gobert and probably sending a message as to he should be the Defensive Player of the Year. And Lebron James finished with 16 points, five rebounds and four assists. And probably this is where the Wolves missed KAT, there is no more big men that can at least go and fight guys like AD and maybe all other teams as well. Good start as well for new Laker coach JJ Reddick.

Yeah there's a homecourt advantage where players are really playing well to entertained their fans, though it's only the beginning but with the way Lakers coaches rotates his guys, that's really good seeing them getting their minutes and share some either in defense or offense, good start especially with AD having that monster game with a heathy physical conditions, hopefully he'll maintain that and continue helping without hesitation.

In terms of Wolves, they fought well just not enough to snatch this game against the home team, ANT still doing that same impact just needed to fuel more especially when distributing the ball, creating space for his teammates of attacking then dropping the ball to an open gunner.

And with that, the James father and son duo made history again. AD really had a good game today and so is Rui, and it's good that the Lakers didn't trade him or any of it's key players are there are rumors before the season starts that some of them might be traded.

Bronny though might be nervous from that pass from his father that's why he didn't convert it.

While I never seen the Celtics games, they made history and I saw pics of the last great Celtics team with Pierce, KG and surprisingly Ray Allen. But it seems that Rondo is still not over with his beef with Allen I guess. But as the saying goes, time heals all wounds and hopefully they will patch things up.

Anyway, I thought the Wolves would take that win since they seemed like the better team based on last season's performance. Maybe things have changed a lot since they traded KAT for Randle, who was a major threat inside. But let’s see if they can bounce back in the next game. As for Bronny, I’m honestly not expecting much from him. Even if his dad keeps feeding him the ball, he just doesn’t seem to have the talent to truly deserve a spot in the NBA.

I can relate to this feeling of satisfaction as parents since finally you are already with your son on the game which you really love the most. I think this will be a sign that Lebron near retirement if he finally feels that he already achieved what he is dreaming.

Lebron is already successful as player and has nothing to proved.he is just playing now for salary but he is not hungry anymore for any achievements since he already done a lot. I think he might aim for championship or playoffs with his son while he is still on active career.

It’s just sad that his son being bash just because of his bashers too.

Yeah something like that. I've heard about something like being cheerful in the lockers and as well as in the bench. So, the value he really brings to the team is that the Bucks will manage to retain his brother Giannis, so it's always like a 2-in-1 deal if they're re-signing Thanasis. Not bad to them as Giannis is their star player and they cannot release him like that for bringing them their chip. But a time will come that they'll just have to let him go for wanting so.

The real crazy thing is he could stay in the league long enough to end up playing alongside 2 of his sons. Given their size differences, we could realistically see LeBron, Bronny, & Bryce on the floor at the same time. With all the talk around Bronny, people aren’t yet focusing on Bryce who is in my opinion the better prospect.

I’m seeing a lot of people trashing LeBron for now having the most missed shots in NBA history. I think that’s a pretty bad take. LeBron has scored a lot more points than Kobe and he just passed him in missed shots. LeBron’s efficiency has always been amongst the best in the NBA. Him having the most missed shots speaks more to his longevity than his ability to.l make shots in my opinion.
