He needs to step up as a leader to earn the respect of his teammates. Hopefully, he becomes like Giannis—reliable and proven, since Giannis has already won a championship. I do agree with you here, it's really hard to compare him with Lebron when Lebron join the NBA. Lebron has a different kind of mentality and he is a freak, a specimen we haven't seen before. As compare to Wemby, who looks soft entering the NBA although he is very athletic, but it's not enough as he is too skinny. Needs more to developed and the Spurs might have a plan already. No need to rush, may in that span of time, he could evolved and mature like Giannis before him. He developed his mind and then surround himself with a good coach and mentor and teammates and then journey to win a NBA ring.

I haven't bet at all, still pre-season, might be good to just see how the teams are playing, specially those who move to a new team and see how and where they fit in that new team. Lethabo is the match of the day from Suns while Joshua also Playing in Rhinos. The game is on second quarter Q2 now and they on break. I am supporting Suns to win the game. This is another sport game I like to watch after football. Suns are doing well in the game. But with current addition of Paul in their team for sure he can teach Wemby to look for more open space and to dominate inside also outside. If Spurs could just get additional veterans and good role players then maybe it can help Spurs to became a title contender.

If Wemby will exert more effort and doesn't get any injury then provably that few years from now maybe he can achieve that same like Giannis or even more stronger than him. While the Spurs have CP3 and Wemby combo, the whole roster of the team right now is very young and inexperienced as well. Sure, all of the teams where CP3 is going is improving, but it doesn't mean that they will go to the playoffs immediately.

I'll agree with what you said as well that it's too early, but I will not be surprised if they will improve this season with the acqusition of the Point God. Last season, the Spurs ended the season with a record of 22-60 so that would be a good basis as to if Paul is a big factor towards the improvement of the team especially Wemby or not. As for this season, I expect them to have a better record, but I doubt that they will even reach the play-in with their current roster, and if they will be for some reasons, they will not clinch the playoffs. For me, I think having a superstar that would help them is a good option as well. I guess let's just enjoy watching the Spurs all throughout the season because we will see more lobs coming from the duo.

That's just it, the team itself needs tons of work.  Lots of young guys they need a more balanced team.  Wemby isn't that guy yet to just take his team far without any help.  Nothing against him he is just too young for that.  Team needs a good mix of sharpshooter and some more wings who can play hard nose defense.  They still will be fun to watch this year though.

These controversies are everywhere, coming from P Diddy to Dwight and now with Rj Barrett. But I guess people won't be investing their time on this issue.

What I really like about him now is his high 3-point shooting percentage, and he fits perfectly with a team that relies heavily on shooting. As for comparing him to Iggy, I see Iguodala more as a defensive guy, so the comparison is pretty slim. But we haven’t seen Hield in the playoffs yet, if I’m not mistaken—that’s when we’ll really know if he can step up when it matters most, like how Klay Thompson does in those crucial moments, especially "Game 6 Klay."
