Alperen Şengün continues to make us proud. He recorded a triple-double, but it wasn't enough for the win. Because on the other side, there's a GOAT like Jokic. The Nuggets won the game in overtime. I wish the Rockets could have won the game where Alperen recorded a triple-double. However, Durant couldn't support him enough. Murray, on the other hand, supported Jokic well.
These two teams will be a force to reckon with in the Western Conference. I can already picture them in the Western Conference Finals. The other teams have a tough job ahead of them.

Jokic is really very solid man like a rock. But in terms of team basketball i think Houston was definitely better. In Denver, almost every possession went through Murray and Jokic. But it was not same in Houston game play. If you ask me Houston’s style is the right way to play. Jokic got his points through a one man show, while Alperen did it within the flow of team basketball.

Houston is a good one but we can't just ignore the Denver Nuggets and since they've got their first franchise championship, that has made them one of the best teams in the league right now. As for Houston Rockets, no doubt that they're a good team and if you're thinking that they're better than the Nuggets, that's because of what they did this season of taking KD on their side which seems to be a good decision for the management and we're seeing results.

Yeah. KD is a very good decision indeed and he did a very good job yesterday. He is 37 but he played 44 minutes and did his best. the faul at the end of 4th quarter and Thompsons poor performance in overtime handed the game to Nuggets. And rockets also had problems about defensive communication and switching issues. Alperen had to guard Jamal Murray often and Nuggets took advantage of this all the time. Anyway as you told we cant ignore Denver Nuggets. They are also a very good team.

Both are good teams and they can be contenders for this season and we'd like to see them beat each other in the playoffs. That's very possible to see and with the loss of Houston which they've made with the Denver Nuggets, they'll learn more about guarding and using Sengun in the best possible way that they can for his position and role for which what we've seen, he's just getting better each game.

Sengun really played good but he just didnt have enough back because KD needed to do a lot better and if he was on his usual level Houston would have won the game . Still on the other side is Jokic that is really showing why he is the best player in the world. Another triple double for him and he is now really close to break Westbrooks record.

I think also Sengun in next couple of season will reach Jokic numbers in triple doubles because each season he is better and better and i think he will be even better.

The game was clearly Rockets to win and referees just took the game from Rockets and gave Denver the win for free, it was a terrible call and a wrong one as well. I can't believe that they made this a thing where they are the deciders of the game.

I hate it when it is not the players that win or lose a game but the decisions made by the referees that decide it, that makes the game so much boring and very terrible for everyone to watch as well. Whatever happened has happened, and it's time to move on for Rockets. Good showing though, because with this Durant trade, they have become much better and they are shooting very well on late games and this could help them a ton when it's the playoffs time and could beat some big teams.

This has been destroying the league for years now the calls that is needed to be called but the ref will not give it, then make a call that is not too much, if things continue, the refs will be the one to kill the league, the worse part is that the refs has the union, at the same time no one has given a fine for bad officiating, seems the league commissioner can't do nothing about it, this has been happening on the rockets now for a few times, can they make things right?

Yeah you're right, there's bias and the beneficiaries are those who bet for team who win together with those fans who believes that they've got it fair and square, but if you are on the side, surely you'll have your own opinion and it would be on the other side of it, but like what you just said that's how the game works and every one should be moving forward just like how the players and the management was, knowing that there's nothing that they can do what the outcome of the game.

But that what's gonna destroy the league if they don't make the right call and looks like they are favoring the other team or some players. Remember that they changes some rules of the game because maybe one player has taken advantage of the call, like what James Harden did or Chris Paul with their foul baiting.

Even with flopping, they implemented rules so that players caught flopping will be called out. So there is point in complaining as some non calls or favorable calls specially in end game wherein the referee is the game changer.

It was the war of the centers in the Nuggets - Rockets game last night.    I have heard that this is a record in NBA history. The first game in which 2 centers scoring 30+ points and making triple-doubles.

I really love to watch the clash of Jokic and Sengun in NBA. Sengun says he has his own style despite being likened to Jokic. But he really has lots of similarities to him. This was one of the most lovely games of the regular season so far.

I am not shocked that it's the first time ever where two centres had 30+ point triple doubles in the same game. The fact that 30+ point triple double is very rare to begin with, getting more common with time I agree but still very rare, and two at the same time is even more rare, and only centres is even more rare because you do not see centres get 10+ assists normally. This game was really a show off between these two but referees wanted to be the biggest names of this game and ruined it.

Jalen Brunson was named Finals MVP with 25 points and 8 assists.
Each Knicks player received a $500,000 prize.
This tournament was held for the third time.
Was such a tournament necessary? I don't think so. It only provided extra playing opportunities for players who already play too many games.
If this tournament absolutely had to be held, why wasn't it spread throughout the entire season? It ended too quickly. It could have been placed between regular season games and held towards the end of the year. For example, the finals could have been in March or April.
It gives me the impression of a tournament that doesn't make sense.

The only good thing about is that every player on the roster gets 500k, I honestly think the highest paid players should pledge those 500k to the small timer young guys that are also contributing to the success but earn MUCH less. I missed watching the game, but I saw a lot of highlights showing that Clarkson really ignited the win for the Knicks. Because of that, you can tell the Knicks made the right decision signing him, especially when no other teams were that interested anymore.

I might be a bit biased since he’s Filipino too, but I’ve seen this before when he was with the Jazz. Whenever he took over a game, the crowd just came alive. That’s exactly what I’m seeing again here.

Same here, I thought that the Spurs has a greater chance to win because of Wemby. But in the 4th quarter, Jordan Clarkson takes over, as they have a good run with his 3 point shots. Although the Spurs try to comeback and close the gap, but the Knicks can't be denied as they again go on another run.

Good to see that the Knicks have won and you can see the expression of the players that they are very happy to win the Cup. And we can only hope that this will carry the Knicks for a momentum as they can be called a champion.

Though its not same level as winning a championship, but winning on a NBA cup still great achievement for a team. Especially if no one think about teams like Knicks will be call as champion in this tournament.

I think the main goal of this tournament is to draw additional attention from the audience to games specifically at the current stage of the regular season. I'm not sure that the NBA management is achieving its goal by holding such tournaments. But it's worth noting that for some players with relatively low salaries, winning such tournaments is clearly beneficial.
