It is being reported that Ja Morant had changed his mind and no longer wants to be traded from the Grizzlies. I guess he didn’t like the options that were being thrown around for his next team. I’d still trade him if I was the Grizzlies. It sure seems like his best days are behind him.

That's funny though, as recently we have heard a lot of noise that he wanted to get out of Memphis because he doesn't like what the coach are going with regards to their offense. He even had some arguments with his team mates when they had a game in Germany.

But in their last game, it looks like a different Ja Morant as he lead his team again. So most likely there could be some talks behind that might have gotten Ja back to his team and start to win again.

And the Grizz also want to get the best of the value, while Ja value at the moment is low, they might be waiting for more available stars in the market, they wont waste to trade him for a rookie i think, that is why they might not also trade him at the moment, they want to know who will have the better offer in the offseason, but if i were Morant ill go somewhere else now, because he is not getting any younger if he is chasing for a ring he better decide now.

Julian Champagnie is on fire again. He’s killing the Houston Rockets with his three-point shooting. First half is over and he already has 21 points, going 6-of-10 from deep.

The Rockets really need to make a push in the third quarter if they want to get back into this, so it should still be an interesting game. But if they can’t slow down Champagnie’s hot shooting, it’s going to be tough for them to turn this around.

Golden State Warriors have said that Jimmy Butler has had a season ending ACL tear injury. Bad break for Jimmy. I’ve been there. Your knee is never the same. That pretty much puts the Warriors into a rebuild scenario and sets them up to waste the end of Steph Curry’s career. Big bummer.

We've seen some torn ACL injuries in the past in the NBA, and majority of them have at least a year to recover. With this injury from Butler, it's kind of unfortunate for him knowing that this year will be his final year of his contract, and I don't think that the Warriors will re-sign him unless he will accept a much lower contract if he wants to stay with Golden State. On the other hand, I still believe that there will still be teams that will try and sign him despite of being injured because of how impactful he can be on any team that he plays.

Such an unfortunate injury is. This will affect the whole team especially Curry's chances of winning another title. I wonder though if the Warriors will enter in a rebuild season after what happened especially with Curry still on the team. I don't think that Curry wants to be in a team that's rebuilding especially if he's still chasing a title. He'd rather be traded maybe.

The problem with the Grizzlies' management is that, they want draft picks, and MANY role players in exchange for Morant which for the other team isn't a good option because of how Morant is playing this season. They don't want to risk too much in a player that's becoming an injury-prone. If Morant doesn't want to be traded then he must play better in the remainder of the season because his team is at the play-in standings right now.

Houston narrowly overcame San Antonio. After trailing for much of the game, Houston secured the victory with a spectacular performance in the final quarter.
In the last quarter, Houston held San Antonio to just 14 points.
This win was crucial for Houston, and they managed it, albeit with difficulty. Houston finished the season with 4 wins in 5 home games, having only lost to Oklahoma.

That’s why I usually like teams that are strong in the 4th quarter, and honestly, the Spurs just aren’t that kind of team yet. Just look at the 4th-quarter scoring of both sides, that pretty much tells the whole story.

I wasn't able to watch the game, but I read that Wemby got injured and probably this is one reason the Spurs lost? Not taking anything from the Rockets, they are good with Durant and Sengun again. But the Spurs could be a better team early on with Wemby leading them that's why they put up a good lead, but when Wemby got injured, the Rockets was able to make a huge comeback and overcome that lead and take the win. But in any case, it was a total collapsed by the Spurs. And then their 3 point shot? Worst in the game. I like Reed Shephard tough, he should be given more minutes by Udoka.

A very similar game between the Lakers and the Nuggets.
The Lakers were down most of the game, their first lead was mid 4th quarter, and from there, they did not look back and continued to rally putting a hard clamp on Jamal Murray who scored only 2pts in the 2nd half, after scoring a scorching hot 26 in the 1st half.

The ending of the 1st half was crazy, because the Nuggets were able to make an 8-0 run in the final minute, that puts them 16 pts ahead of the Lakers.
However, things turned the other way around for the Nuggets as they struggle shooting around 35% fg overall.

Nuggets played with a really tight rotation because of the injuries. Even Murray - Gordon duo were also doubtful for the game but they played. However it was still difficult for them to win.  

Luka played incredible though! A wonderful triple-double with a quite decent FG percentage. It is a 2-game losing streak for Nuggets now. It was already way extra that they got that many wins without Jokic and with all those injuries.

They seems promising at first and shows how dominant they are but unfortunately they didn't sustain their energy on second half that's why Lakers manage to gain the momentum.

To bad that they cannot take over back again and Lakers manage to dominate them. What a great performance for Luka again for performing monster triple double today to help Lakers to win against Nuggets today. Maybe they have chance to win if Jokic is there, but I also believe that Lakers will also double or triple their effort just to win today.

The big factor the is missing in the game is Jokic, Jamal mostly make jump shot in screen that is why he is effective when Jokic is on the floor that is when he is in the zone, lately i can't see the performance when they won the championship where he almost never missed.
You are correct when Jokic is inside the momentum will shift to them because of how good Jokic is, even though he looks slow-motion in every plays its a guarantee basket when he droves most of the time, they might also out of gas in the last quarter.

Sheppard played well last night but let's be real he has zero impact on defense. He can shoot but he has huge gaps in his game. and kd is basically on a retirement tour just chasing stats. I think Udoka needs to rein him in like he did at the start of the season. Use KD for open shots when needed but the plays should be drawn up for the young guys.

The loss of the Warriors against the Raptors was not surprising because of the Butler injury. Still, I think this is the time to maximize the usage of Kuminga and give him more minutes. He played for only 21 minutes, although they had a good run in the 3rd quarter. I know Coach Steve Kerr is the type who likes to rotate his players, but the young rising star is trying to build his own to become a great player. Why not do it while Butler is out, and perhaps they will find ways to fill that hole left by him.

The Houston Rockets are now on their 3rd winning streak after defeating the Spurs in a close game. The Spurs actually had it under control in 3 quarters until they let it go in the 4th. The 76ers will be the next stop on 2 game road trip. The winning streak might end against the Pistons.

It's obvious that offers from other teams will be worse for Morant because his statistics in this regular season have dropped significantly compared to previous seasons. Anyway, I agree with you that the Grizzlies should still get rid of him because he has turned from a top player into a toxic one due to his stupid and short-sighted actions.

Rockets won and that is great for them, kudos, but the minutes are telling a story that needs to be careful. Because players like Amen and Durant played 40 minutes in this game, didn't rest much and that would put fatigue on players for later on when they go to playoffs.

Jabari got 35 minutes, Alperen who just came off an injury and still have a bit swollen ankle played 34 minutes. They seriously need to learn to rest some of their players otherwise they are going to risk injuries a lot more often and even if not, they would just have tired players. Playoffs are very hard grinds, referees let toughness happen a lot more than regular season, all those high number of FT's start to drop, and a tired body won't be able to handle that.
