I didn't even watch the Sunday game and I'm seeing I didn't really miss anything anyway, they should just bring back East vs West cause all this other stuff is not good at all. I don't know why they keep tinkering with it year after year like keep it the original way and fix up the Saturday games, bring in some pro dunkers to challenge the NBA guys or something. I'm sure they won't be hard to find everyone online these days make it challenging cause from what I saw was terrible just dancing mostly

I liked the way there were players who took All-Star matches serious last night truthfully. Because I'm one of those people who don't like to see a no defense All-Star match. 

However I can't still say all the players take it serious. You have already given examples of it on previous posts. I just wish the final match was more competitive though.

Stars just beat Stripes too easily in that one. By the way seeing Kawhi there play like that just made my night much better!

It is, it's different with the Jordan era where they treat it as an official game and nothing more, I understand that they don't want to give all their best because they can't earn anything from it and worse, they may be injured and it will be bad for the regular season. However, Wemby changes the tone of the game by being competitive, it's just sad that his teammate didn't take it seriously. On the post match interview with Wemby he said that he cherish basketball and being competitive is the least he can do about it. Also, kudos to kawhi for scoring 31 points in 12 minutes, even though we know that most of the players didn't seriously play the defense, we know that kawhi is one of the great players in NBA.

They're preventing themselves from getting injured just like what you said that's why they don't take this All-star game that seriously hence, it affects the whole league as well.

This era is very different compared to that of Jordan era. This era, the pace is very fast and there are some who are getting injured in their lower parts of their body because of how fast the pace is. I didn't watch the whole game, and I don't have plans during that moment, so I will not give any opinions on whether the game is good or bad, but I saw some clips online where I saw the part of the audience and I saw that it's not filled. Correct me with this one, but if this is true, does it show that the interest of fans watching these All-star games in person is decreasing already??

Turns out that it's obvious that there's many seats that are empty in majority of the games. That just shows how disastrous this all-star game is just like in the previous years.

Ever since the Aaron Gordon - Zach LaVine dunk battle, I haven't seen anything that can match up to how good that duel is.

I just don't like this serious kind of All-Star games. I would rather see the show version back. Because it just felt like those games were no different than regular season ones.

I only liked the parts of Kawhi's carrying his team and Wemby's high effort. Jokic - Doncic were again the same. They didn't care about the event. They weren't even a part of the 2nd game for Team World.

Man, There are 90 percent or more people who are fans of NBA who wants to see a serious Basketbal in all star where the supertars players battle for a great game and making fans love the game more because all of their superstar player is in one court and playing against each other.
We are missing 90s all star where everyone is looking to get the win. We havethose fun moments in shoot outs dunks and other events.

Yes, I do want to see them play competitive in this All Star, I think though we might have seen some glimpse of it as there are blocks that has been registered in this game and Kahwi stole one ball from Wemby. But then again, when this guys are shooting from the outside, the logo and showing their deadly shots, it might have taken the seriousness of the game. I think it did better than the previous All Star games at least for me with some competitiveness amongst them. Lillard was a big surprised to win I thought the rookie will do it the first time in history. The regular game will resume on February 19, there's a lot of games and this is the final push for teams to make the playoff or go into the playin. Pistons vs Knicks will be good and then the Rockets vs Hornets.

I liked the games, it was fun to watch. I didn't expect the gap in the final to be that big, since all the other games had been really close. But Antman was clearly locked in on winning, he was very motivated. I'm happy that Cade and Jalen won as well. Kawhi was amazing in the second game, but he couldn't do much in the final.
Doncic, Jokic (only 5 mins in first game), SGA and Giannis didn't play for the World team. If they had, maybe they could've won. In the end it's an entertainment tournament and they don't care about that much anyway.

Now that the All-Star break is over, we can focus on the remaining 30 games and the play-off standings.

Kawhi definitely played against the world like a superstar, he was quite MVP level but they lost so he couldn't get it, it's rare that the loser gets the MVP no matter how good a player plays. But the reality is that this type of bracket style really worked, like it wasn't league style but it wasn't playoff style, it was whatever, rubin something they call it, whatever that was, it really worked because nobody wanted to be the loser.

World ended up losing and that will make the Americans feel like they are the best yet again lol, normally a team of players around the world should easily defeat the American team, but I think it wasn't really a game where it showed, and unfortunately the world lost, hopefully net year world will come back better .

I'm not entirely sure about this season's organization, but it featured some of the most competitive and colorful all-star performances in history. It was almost like watching the Dream Team's Olympic performances. This new format is quite nice. Both US teams taught the world team a lesson, as if to say, "We'll apply this standard to you in the Olympics too," and turned their final match into a walkover. From that perspective alone, the match lost its appeal. It felt like the final match shouldn't have happened or should have been in a different format. However, apart from that, it was a very nice and exciting event.
