I have a question: Why do we must have 100 bets for the competition? I think that that is too much, and people will do random betting and loose their btc. Can that rule get removed or adjusted?

Presumably because somebody could just place 1 high stakes bet & win the competition. It's not really fair if that happened imo.

As DeathAngel said, this is to try to reduce the luck factor as much as possible. With 100 bets, skill will be rewarded and not just luck. Also remember that the minimum bet is only 1% of your current bankroll, so the risk is small, and we have a participation prize of 70mBTC, so you can almost "play for free".

Ok guys, the first challenge is over. Congrats to GrandeMar. He was the user that had the honor of opening this competition with a valid bet, and for that we will award him 30mBTC.
(GrandMar, please PM your playing wallet account directly to Michelle (DirectDice) who will personally fund your playing wallet account with the prize amount).
Now the next challenge will be harder, and will require a lot of luck and skill! The user with the Parlay won at highest odds will win the next challenge.
(like I said the challenge can be viewed in the second post of this thread, you can also see the winner of the previous one.)
Good luck

hmm I have a question regarding the next challenge. What everyone loses their parlays? (which is a very possible option, since they will try to win with big odds)

hmm I have a question regarding the next challenge. What everyone loses their parlays? (which is a very possible option, since they will try to win with big odds)
In that case, the participant with the highest ROI gained that day will be the winner. As you can see in the second post of this thread, this is what FrueGreads wrote about today's challenge: [...]
Next challenge: Parlay won at highest odds (if no one wins a parlay, the user with biggest ROI% on that day will win the challenge).
[...]
If i bet parley and match start tomorrow,is it count for todays daily challenge?if not..can I place multibet now for tonight match?am I qualified for daily bonus?
Given that one of the conditions for winning today's challenge is that the parlay must win (and considering these are daily challenges), we must know the results before 23h UTC (when the challenge ends, and a new one starts). So, any parlay with matches that are only resolved after that time will not be counted for today's challenge.

Challenges will be different every day (and unique within the competition) or they will be just 4 or 5 like Happy Hours in February?
I think I will pass on today's challenge since I am not much into parlays, but I am looking forward to the next days.
Hmm, I don't think we can come up with 31 completely different challenges (considering there will be challenges every day of the competition). So, we will probably end up repeating a few of them here and there, but we will try to make it fun, interesting, and profitable for you guys.

Oh, you don't have to post the parlays here, dipkiss; just in the Main Thread - unless you want to discuss the parlay, any specific bet, or betting strategies in general (that's also one of the functions of this thread).

No, you can continue betting on DirectBet, of course. The 100 bet limitation is only in relation to the number of bets that are counted towards calculating the ROI of the participants in the Tipster Competition. But, even then, you can continue making bets beyond the 100, and even use the same return address with them, if you wish - we'll simply not look at them in the competition. Also, don't forget that you can participate with up to three entries in this competition (you're currently only using 1; see the multi-entry rule) - this will allow you to make up to 300 bets in total.
