So here's the 167,979LBC question:
What would be the best rig to mine LBC?
Amazing hashrates with 980Ti.... I need to check on the 10 series.

I wonder what the 1060 does.  Price point would be nice if good hashrates =)

pascal does about 1.7-1.8x maxwell hashrate at same power usage.
this is valid for most of the algos, especially the "register only" ones.
no sense in buying maxwell cards now.

So at 1.5 BTC per card, is there enough ROI on lbry to sustain the cost of growing?

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

So at .68 BTC per card, is there enough ROI on lbry to sustain the cost of growing?

I ask this looking to get into non-sha256 mining....

considering you can resell it for a little less than the initial cost, and that nobody will force you to stay on lbry, yes.
but you must do the math yourself or you'll not feel good when shelling out the cash.

Given that lbry is still in it's infancy, there's not a lot of math I can go on (besides asking guys already mining it).

P.S. - it's 2016 and we're miners, who dafuq uses "cash"?  Tongue

I wish I could buy cards (and hardware in general) with BTC.
Not available in my country.

There's a few "gift card" and debit card options. I use Coinbase/eGifter for Amazon and a few other places. Sucks there's an extra fee, but it's doable.

look at amazing difference between last 4 weeks, last week and 24h diff in block overview, and price is falling.
super profitability is disappearing before our very eyes

Diff always rises with network hashrate.
You can't ask for pool/network growth and not get higher diffs.

This is why I asked about growth costs/ability.

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

ok I'll try again   clean swipe no miners in pool  no shares withholding  now i come in with my hash that means instantly  i have 100% of the shares correct ?  And within one minute a block is hit in the pool..of course by me because i'm the only miner. i get all the coins on that block about 140 correct ?

As a point of clarity...
Yes you do, but in bits while you submit enough shares to equal the N in the PPLNS.
If the N = 25,000 and you've only submitted 5,000 shares, you still have to submit another 20,000 shares before you can get the whole 140.
If the N = 25,000, you've only submitted 5,000 shares, and you stop mining, you'll only ever get 28 of the 140.

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

that difference shows amazing diff growth acceleration,
if nobody pump the price hard, lbry profits will vanish soon
~1 year ago BTC price was 1/3 what it is now (and it's now ~ what it was 1 year before that).

Welcome to crypto mining! Grin

Like, your car won't start now?

Like despite multiple soft and hard reboots, I had ASIC Status of:
Code:
xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxx
xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxx
xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxx
xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxx

Instead of:
Code:
oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo ooooooo
oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo ooooooo
oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo ooooooo
oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo ooooooo

Whatever it sent on the crash, it effed stuff up ugly.  Shocked

The good news (albeit off-topic and on another pool) is I found out my wife's crappy PC can mine enough Dashcoin in 24hrs to exchange for the same amount of BTC that 60TH mines on actual Bitcoin.
