Cool. I'll try to donate some tomorrow as I'm about to hit bed now. Cool

Here's a block explorer link to the Bittrex Rebrand Donation Bitcoin address for convenience:

Thank you for the new wallet to the team !!!

It works fine, synchronization is good, and I have not yet tested the stake.

On the other hand, I regret that this one is not prettier. The one of darknet was not also extraordinary but it had a little more color.

It is a constructive criticism. I know it's easy for me who am not a developer, and who does not know how to code ..

Thanks again to the whole team!

No joke. I guess 0.5 BTC to type the letters PIVX into a database, and 1.0 BTC to 'drag and drop' an icon in to a folder.

Stupid pricing model. Pure cash grab. Yet another reason the future is decentralized.

NEW WEBSITE UPDATE

GREAT news. A very generous person from the community has offered to fund 100% of the website redesign cost!
To really get this done quickly, Rhubarb Media has already been given the green light to start the PIVX website.
ETA is 2 weeks from now depending on availability of all the necessary info & contents as they need them.
Once masternode budget system issue is fixed, a proposal will be created to reimburse the funding to them.
(Longer original update can be found on slack. Join via link on OP if you want to see all discussions.)

Rhubarb Media Proposal PDF
https://www.docdroid.net/4vmE0nP/pivx-website-proposal.pdf.html

Now we just need to come up with the funds to pay Bittrex a whopping 1.5 BTC for the re-brand...

OK, So we have a new issue to deal with...

I spoke to Bittrex today, to let them know we are ready to rebrand with them.. and since I spoke to Richie a few months ago in regards to this, should be an easy transition, but Now they want 1.5 btc to do the rebrand. I have spoken to Bill as well, and they don't seem to care that it was never mentioned when I spoke to Richie earlier.

So as it stands, we are in limbo, as I am not paying 1.5 BTC for a few database entries and a logo change. This is ridiculous.

Feel free to contact Richie and Bill on Slack in the Bittrex channel.

That's messed up. Pretty unreasonable for a small job like renaming a coin.
listen listen .....hold and just think carefully GOD is with people of those who aere cool minded.

YObit, Cryptopia and NovaExchange have responded with "Processing the rebranding" without requiring a fee, so maybe throw them some volume, as thats how they make their money.. Smiley

CoinPayments has been rebranded to PIVX (they have been notified to use greyscale images on dark backgrounds)

CoinMarketCap had been kinda of updated, name has anyway, but everything else is still old stuff still

1.5btc does seem expensive. But please don't be so quick to judge the size of the job of renaming a coin. I know for me it could take an hour or two to redo all of the databases on my server, let alone the bugs in the future that I am not aware of yet but will have to fix. I am happy to make the switch without compensation, but just saying that unless you have worked as a developer for Bittrex and know their backend structure, I would not be so quick to judge.

Agreed. I meant to write that a couple of days ago, but never actually found the time to do so.

Put another way:
If PIVX wants to enter the professional realm, you have to deal with businesses that need to make money to pay their infrastructure and talent. Use your commitment for marketing, ask Bittrex if they take PIVX and get them on the boat. There are many ways to make something good out of it.

I decided to write a technical white paper on the Seesaw Reward Balance logic that PIVX uses. First draft below.
It has not been proof read by many yet. So there will be a lot of edits made to it before it becomes version 1.0.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1G58gtDdQtT-8kV8Fu7_764Fxn0i5fs0jGURvz8KJlTE

Anyways, hope you guys like it. Grin

I don't think the subject "requires" it's own whitepaper, but it looks better than most other whitepaper toilet paper out there already ;-)

More like the word "warrant" but yeah I do understand what you mean.
Still can't hurt to have one right? Anyways, glad you found it okay. Grin

P.S. It will go through a major edit today thanks to a helper in Slack. Still the same link.
