Hi guys, can anyone explain what has caused the closing of input / output PIVX on the stock exchange Yobit? Thx.

Don't use Yobit, ever.

If you can't get our PIVX out, sell them for BTC, get your BTC out, buy PIVX on a real exchange.

Good suggestion, after more than a year Yobit still have the same problem that they never sorted out until now. It is not surprising at all that many loyal customers already have left their exchange.

I'm staking a bunch of PIVX and getting 2.249 PIVX as a reward on current wallet version, but a friend of mine is staking with an older wallet and getting stake rewards of 1.7PIVX - is that because he's on the older wallet or are these stakes actually on a different chain?   Cos he keeps telling me how often it's staking I'm wondering if it's actually broken.  I've told him to upgrade but he thought it might break his good luck streak and hasn't yet.

The older wallet will be on a different chain. The last update was mandatory. All of his stakes are invalid to the actual chain.

Thanks for confirming, I've told him the bad news.  There must still be quite a few masternodes running the old version if the see-saw algo is skewed that far over..

Staking is much easier than setting up a masternode, all you need to do is have a wallet with as much PIV as possible in it, and it needs to be unlocked for staking (if you've encrypted the wallet).  Then a green arrow will appear at the bottom right of the wallet, and you need to keep the wallet open at all times.  Then at some random moment (not predictable) you'll get a staking reward.  It might take several days based on how many PIV you have.

It depends on how much coins you have in the staking wallet. If the number of coins are too low, it will take a longer time to stake.

zerocoin was for the summer. now there is zercoin v1 for the autumn, and there will be zerocoin v2 for winter and maybe zerocoin v3 for spring and maybe others will come in the future.

Where do I find the wallet.dat in the pivx directory. I cant find it. show hidden files is activated.

or is the pivx wallet the only which does not create a wallet.dat automatically when first time used?

Please ask more precisely - which OS are you using?

And sure, PivX makes a wallet.dat on first start on every platform

Sorry  I am using windows 10.
I have installed the wallet on another drive. In the PIVX folder is no wallet.dat
Checked Appdata too, there is nothing from the PIVX wallet.

Wonder why its taking so long to incoporate zerocoin implementation into the official wallet release. Been in the testnet for a while now, right?

Not the kind of thing to risk having vulnerabilities in
