Thanks for the link, it's good that info is being put out about it. However the worry I have (and DRPD in a post earlier) that this bit: If you are seeing (or not) a smaller count than you should have in your wallet head over to the privacy tab and you will find the lost amount allocated here as “unconfirmed.” They will be available to you as soon as the developers release an updated wallet version. ... is not true in my case, all the TXs are confirmed, and 2K has just "gone". Now SevenHacks in the slack channel says the new version will fix this, so it will be ok I hope..

What the fuck guys? Forced autoconverting into zPIV is very unprofessional.
And it's converted way more than 10%.

Know one has posted under your account for a long time (at least in this thread). So I don't think any damage has been done by "you."

Was not the best result, unfortunately. The autoconvert was for liquidity which I appreciate the possible need for, but the more than 10% was ick.

I mean, we did have the option to opt out, if we had actually read all the details released over the past while. I certainly didn't It's too bad about the more than 10% bit, but at least it sounds like they're on top of a new wallet release to address it. Side question: Any idea if PIV and zPIV are considered equivalent for the purposes of staking or masternoding? Like if you had 7000 PIV and 3000 zPIV, could you run a MN? And if you staked, would you be staking 10K, or 7K, or 3K, or...?

I've read a lot of posts about the PIVX 3.0 Wallet's Auto Mint. PIVX released this video before zPiV was put into action. It's hard to hear the guy in the video, so you'll have to turn the volume up, but it does talk about how you can adjust or shut-down the AutoMint feature https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbas3Vip-ww

We are in crypto space hoping that everyone will be fair, not saying what PIVx did with the auto convert was not fair. Devs should have made a point that it was going to autoconvert just in case someone missed it, it seems critical to let people know what is happening when they see their coins diminishing. Instead we all found out the hard way and now we know to read the details and not just blindly trust the devs. Either way, I am happy to see the progress PIVx has made. Besides that one overlooked mistake, devs are doing a good job with the project.

Yes, but changes like these should be opt-in, not opt-out. Feels like less decentralized where devs force changes like this to unsuspecting users. Yeah, it could have been disabled but not everyone knew about it in time and it's worded such that only exchanges should use it. Also, despite all the testing it's still problematic (~30% autoconvert, can't send, sending takes forever) which doesn't look good.

I read the post about the HitBTC prcie for adding Pivx. This is way to much mony for a adding, because they will also make a lot of money with the trading. I didn´t think that these guys are so greedy before.

I'm getting "Failed to find coin set amongst held coins with less than maxNumber of Spends". I'm trying to send my zPiv to one of my pivx addresses in order to stake with them. I'm selecting all zPiv denominations and send a number of coins equal or less, but every time it threw this error. Any ideas?
