Hello and congrats to the Devs. Interesting coin. I am also running a renewable energy related project with my renewableenergy.london.
@ Devs: Maybe we can team up and use Evergreen Coin instead of Bitcoin.
Just think about it.

But if would make a lot more sense to use as a payment method a green coin:) Gabi

Great to have you aboard Kisleav and thank you for your interest in EGC. After you get your wallet installed, feel free to visit the EGC faucet to get your first coin and start staking. After just over 24 hours, you will start collecting the 7% PoS reward.

At least try to get on ccex.
Ccex, Cryptsy, Bittrex, Poloniex, Bleutrade, and Cryptopia all have EverGreenCoin submitted for addition. I will report any successes and/or voting requests. As a reminder, trading of EverGreenCoin is already on Coinorium. EDIT: added Bleutrade to the list.

is it possible to cut down the total supply to like 6 or 8 mil max to compete with Floz and cut down the reward to 25, make it rare, hard to get. I think by then you will see some investor come in to invest. It just my idea.

Hi bitwonder, It would be possible yes, but would require a fork. Had this suggestion been made during the month of pre ann, we certainly would have considered your suggestion. Forking at this point, or forking in general, is something we want to avoid. Increasing scarcity is not worth the loss of forward progress EGC has gained that would come from forking. I do appreciate your thoughts. Thank you for sharing them.

I have had no problems depositing EGC into Coinorium. I did tests as soon as EGC was added only to be sure community members would not be faced with difficulties in regards to EGC. The deposited EGC was very quickly in my Coinorium account, thanks to EGC's fast block times and confirmations. Thanks to all the EGC miners for supporting the EGC network and making EGC transactions happen.

The problem is that you cant withdraw btc there. I'm trying for 3 days now but always the hotwallet is empty and it was dust only (0.001 btc or something around that)
I wrote email to support but no answer yet.
Also the exchange seems to have only coins listed that no other exchange has, which is a bit weird but also explains the zero volume they have.
Would be really cool to get the coin to a real exchange like poloniex or bittrex. (CCex and Bleutrade might do the job as well)
I sent mail to yobit asking to add your coin but ofc didnt pay for it so it might take a while until it gets added (not sure if they'll do at all tho)
I dont recommend to use cryptsy anymore. You can only withdraw there if u use doge or some other dustcurrency with a potential loss of at least 20-30 %.
Anyway good luck with that =)

Thank you for bringing your BTC withdrawal issue to our attention. Coinorium has been removed from the OP until it's operational integrity can be verified. I have messaged the developer on this matter. We have contacted all the exchanges you mentioned besides yobit for addition of EGC. Yes, we are aware of all the problems surrounding cryptsy and perhaps you are right that working on addition there might not be a good use of time. Thank you from contacting yobit. I will request addition of EGC at yobit also, hoping that numerous requests might speed addition.

The total amount should not come close to 26m because over the year of POW there will be X amount of POS blocks.

The total amount should not come close to 26m because over the year of POW there will be X amount of POS blocks. Yes, this projection is left over from the original plan to have the first mining phase PoW only, which was abandoned due to negative community feedback. As PoS blocks are less predictable, because the number of staking wallets plays into the formula, thus, the length of PoW and the number of coins generated cannot be as easily projected with any certainty. It is safe to assume these numbers will be halved from the PoW only projections. Meaning, ~6 month PoW and ~13 million generated. The original numbers would still hold true as a maximum if no wallets were staking which, is not the case. We do appoligize for the confusion this has created. As you may know, the PoS/PoW mining phases were debated up until shortly before launch.

On Coinorium, people have started mining and offering the coin at stupidly low prices. It's PoS people! Hang on to it, 500000 blocks will disappear in 3 months and the value will go up.
