Thanks for bringing your project into Crypto and sticking with it. I've minded this coin from the start and it looks like I'll keep mining this coin until POW runs out. I'  about 16~18 on the rich list so I have a decent stack of EGC coins and they are staking very well as the coin piles split and recombine. So mining I was getting about 1000 EGC a day now. Since the price and difficulty increase I'm getting about 321 with one R9 280x  Keep up the good work!

I get: Method not found (code -32601)

Could someone point me in the right direction?
Do I have to wait 24hrs for my coins to mature before I can start staking?

To update everyone on the Microsoft Azure application process, I have yet to hear back from them. I assume they were spending time with their families for the Easter Holiday. We hope to hear back from them sometime this week. The process could take a while to see what kind of development we have and such. I will continue to update you all in the process.

Hi uberpatzer, it does appear you have the correct syntax. You are getting "Method not found" because you have not encrypted your wallet, thus you can not unlock it for it can not be locked in the first place. You would need to encrypt the wallet for the walletpassphrase method to be available however, you do not need to encrypt your wallet for staking to work but, you must wait the 24 hours after maturity.

Your wallet does not need to be running during the 24 hours but, it will not hurt neither and once the time has passed, it will instantly start the staking process. Also, for security reasons, it is recommended you do encrypt your wallet but again, it is not required nor will it prevent staking if you do not.

It sounds like you just need to wait a bit longer. I know, it can be a long 24 hours.

This keep my attention about this site https://www.coinpayments.net/ is there any way to make EGC added, im sure it's another step toward the development of this coin..

its nice idea,, i hope ddev will add it soon

Yes, we have in the past tried to get coinpayments.net to add EGC to the vote list. I fear they might not have done so because when coinpayments.net reviewed EGC on CoinMarketCap, CoinMarketCap was pulling information from an old Block Explorer and gave them far less impressive numbers. Fortunately, we have got CoinMarketCap to correct their information recently and perhaps that deems another round of retweets necessary. You might want to buy more EGC now  when the price is low, as for the next balloon launch, later in the summer, I am planning to make an autopilot for the space box, so  it can bring  the payload back  to the launching site, just like SpaceX, but EGC style:)

I'm following this thread now for quite a while as I like the idea behind it and I'm also fiddling around with solar power to mine/stake (using exactly the same solar power pack as IasInSpace btw^^).
Bought a small chunk yesterday and if EGC keeps evolving like it does, I'm planning to buy a lot more.
Keep up the good work and EGC will soon become a major player at the green crypto market.
