Hey All!

This thread is for customer issues, service announcements, ect. of BitInstant.

It's monitored by our support team, so if you have an issue, question, comment, feel free to post your order details here and someone should respond within a few hours during normal business hours (a little longer on weekends)

Thanks for all your continued business and support!

-Charlie and the team at BitInstant

My order (fedf5be5-9c55-49a9-bf92-19846dc53431) has not been processed in 2 hours+.  You debited my account successfully, but the order page says "Order execution failed!" on your end.  Can you please fix this (and also refund fees since you failed to process the order in the guaranteed time frame)?

Hi there i want to buy some bitcoins(4) and I was wondering.
I am not from one of the countries that are available in the "select your country" section. Can I still buy bitcoins from you using moneygram?

Do you have any plans to expand your services in Canada?

There is not much services that is cost efficient here when you want to exchange small amounts....

Having to pay a minimum of 10$ is a really big deal if you have to exchange 20 - 200$

I can't give specifics yet (since it will likely backfire on me for doing so) but were working with a big cash deposit location company in Canada, just going thru the paperwork now.

Let me know, this is good news..

If the transaction will be processed within 24 hours, I can wait.  You should either show your reserves somewhere or adjust your system to warn people about lack of reserves.  I know I'd appreciate it.

I guess I need to be more specific, when will it be like before where everything was automatic and we didn't have post on here and email anyone about our orders?

So any new payments aren't instant anymore like it was before?

We always aim to make payments as rapid as possible but do at times experience technical problems which can cause delays - should this effect you then get in touch and we will always rectify the issue.

No, everything is still the same and everything is instant.

You see 1-2 orders a day that fail here, however we process over 250 orders every day.

 Huh

That means our reserves at Bitstamp are low, for doing arbitrage transfers.

Yankee Said "No its not pathedic, this customer had processed the funds into someone else's account. That other person has already taken the funds already.

There is not much more we can do except try and track it down. This was your mistake and we are trying to work with you and refund you.

However spamming our threads is not helping, please don't blame us for your mistake."

Yes it is pathetic, all around. I sincerely believe that the Wal mart clerk that processed my transaction put in the wrong account number,or misunderstood my handwriting of the account number. But whatever, that happened over TWO MONTHS AGO.

This is the first time you've mentioned, in over two months, that the person actually took the funds. As we both know, as soon as I discovered the funds had not gone into the right account (the very same day) I contacted you and Mt Gox and the funds were immediately frozen according to you and Mt Gox.. How can funds be frozen if they have been taken?

Two months and failing to respond to my emails is not “working with me”. I suspect that you would not find such a situation tolerable if it happened to you.

I recently came across, on another forum, somebody else that has the same exact issue, though his has apparently gone on for more then two months. He was nervous about mentioning it at all because he was afraid that you would cease to even bother with his issue. But then, he said “ I have little hope of getting my funds now anyways”, which is where I'm at. He did say you told him the projected date for fixing this issue is Jan 31, 2013 which is more then you told me. Mt Gox, who at least responds to my emails, has told me that several people have this same issue, hence I assume you'd actually be working on it, or even actually have some process already in place.

I don't think of complaining about this poor service as spamming. I think of it as trying to get my funds placed where they ought to be. The computer problems should have been solved long ago. The sick person should be recovered by now. My funds were frozen, so how can anyone else take them? As I said, that's the first time, in over two months, that you've mentioned this. This is not spamming, I have little interest in doing that or doing any harm to your company.
I just want my money, want the right thing to happen  promptly (“Instant”) and once that happens you'll never hear from me again. Thanks.

You still don't understand what went wrong here, the Walmark clerk did not enter any information.

We put the funds into a MtGox account you specified on our website, however apparently thats not your account.

As soon as MtGox finished their vacation I will ask them again on the update

I have an issue with a payment that was processed successfully
according to moneygram/walmart as well as ZipZap, that however on your
site, came up with the message 'order execution failed' and there is
no activity on the blockchain. I realize now I may have neglected to
enter in my birthdate in the personal info section, this may have been
the issue. Please look into this matter ASAP as I really need this
resolved promptly. I have yet to receive any kind of support or customer service from Bitinstant for several days now. This is extremely frustrating and making me think that this time I will take my business elsewhere for good if this is not resolved promptly. Thank you.
