Hey Guys.... I used bitfloor on Monday (since the rest of my money was still tied up with bitinstant).  I have to say, it was GREAT!  As long as you are near a Bank of America (BoA), and can get there during business hours.  I deposited cash at BoA, and the money was in my bitfloor account within the hour.  You can INSTANTLY buy bitcoins, and transfer them to your wallet address... took about 2.5 hours TOTAL from going into BoA with my cash, until the time my bitcoins were usable in my final wallet address.  It was my 1st time doing it this way (since I usually do a cash deposit to bitcoin wallet via bitinstant) - but I have to say... it was REALLY easy & fast.  It will probably be my new method if bitinstant stays down.  Hope this helps!

Thanks man I will try Bitfloor out today and update you guys later on how it went.  I have been hearing a lot of good things about Bitfloor lately.  Just to clarify I always have used Bitinstant and still plan on it but people do need an alternative while you guys figure out what ever it is thats going on.

I have been waiting for about a month to put my cash into Bitcoin with BitInstant, but I NEED transfer either to an address or BTC-e. They've missed deadline after deadline for getting it back up, and I'm sick and tired of waiting while the BTC price climbs...

Please PM me your Order info!

[crazyfunmolly79 - please don't advertise competitors on this thread - we're working on the current issues and will not be remaining down.
[/quote]

Sorry... I honestly wasn't trying to advertise.  People were asking for other reliable methods to use while your site is down, I was only trying to help.

Ive tried sending pms on this site, but have no way of knowing if theyve gone thru or not. I really hope my order can be resolved. Im really not pleased with this at all. Its unacceptable to takes someones money when you know damn well there is an issue with your service. continually sending out empty promises with no real resolutions being made is not making it any better either..

Hi everyone

The site is down right now as you are aware, we'll be issuing a more formal statement soon explaining some of the recent issues but in the meantime if you have an outstanding order that has not executed or if you urgently need to make a transfer then please PM myself and Rachel here on the forums.

For transfers, we will need to decide on a case by case basis whether we can handle them.

crazyfunmolly79 - please don't advertise competitors on this thread - we're working on the current issues and will not be remaining down.

I thought there were no competitors. I am pretty sure that Yankee said this site was for all of the Bitcoin seller sites and that you guys would rather "Share a piece of the pie and help each other out rather than fight over a few slices".

That's fine and understandable Smiley

For support issues please now contact Yankee or Rachel instead of myself, I will forward support requests that I have received to both of them as I am currently busy working on resolving the issues.

I'm unable to PM anyone at the moment, but I initiated a bitinstant transaction earlier this morning. I went and fulfilled the transaction 2 hours ago and it hasn't gone through and I can't access the website. I really need the bitcoins today but I'm not sure what to do because I can't access the website.

What are my options?

Now I have the option to PM, but yes, the QuoteID was 663508bb-01cb-4d27-a629-c8ec0caa21ec.

Should I PM you other info now or is that all you need?

EDIT:

It just went through, thank you guys so much for the great support.

Curious why my issue isnt being addressed.. Angry I havent received a single reply to my pms. I like how the site asks you to call then you get a recording telling you to try the "Live Chat" AKA email. Getting no responses now.. Not only is my day wasted, and ruined, but looks like its gonna turn into a weekend thing..

Unfortunately we can't send your funds to bitstamp at present - would you like to be refunded or would you prefer to wait?

If it indefinately can be fixed within a reasonable time, and I will receive btc within 24 hrs I will wait patiently. Ive just been reading stories about people waiting almost a week to get their btc, and by then losing lots of money on the exchange rate. If thats the case Id like refunded.

Are refunds possible with cash deposit? How will I be refunded? Thats $500, thats more than the average american makes in a week. Id like to get it back in my hand if thats possible.

Id like refunded. Is that possible with cash deposit? How will I be refunded?

Give me a few to research the best way to refund - our system is not 100% operational right now until monday otherwise we'd refund to an exchange account.

I will email you now. Why cant it be refunded thru an exchange? I have all the info here, not sure what all you need tho? My order info from bitinstant with order Id, event Id and all that? Quote for cash transaction, zip zap payment slip? I have my moneygram receipt with reference number as well. I will send you an email with some of this info, if I need I can scan these items too.
