Life is like that.... up and down..... still no luck for me... but I am confident it's coming very soon!  Grin

It sure is. Never know when you get lucky. The doge blocks seemed to come easily but from the looks of it the LTC block came really in the end of my session so i might have missed it! Im not out of the woods yet tho, i accidentally used "Polo" addresses (had them written in a txt file which i misslabeled). Contacted them because it wasn't in my balance yet, so will see how that goes.

Can help teach me read these indicators?

Thanks

There are several reasons for this to happen. Most common one is that you submitted winning share after someone else found that block. When new block has been found pool is sending fresh job tou your miner immediately and instructing it to discard old jobs and start to mine on new one jobs/blocks in order to prevent this.

So according to doge deamon so one has found that block at 02:11:44

2016-01-13 00:11:44 [2016-01-13 02:11:44+00] UpdateTip: new best=6af2b7a6cd796f092a7e1c0d5ee15342b042d17c07d4b26314e6499511c6a069  height=1041848  log2_work=65.436844  tx=22473154  date=2016-01-13 00:11:27 progress=1.000000  cache=47.4MiB(16230tx)

But even that your miner was told about this your "winning share" was submitted five seconds later

[2016-01-13 02:11:49.290] Possible AUX block 1041848 solve diff 45665030566.386101 > 1816139470.882916(1819779028.940798)!
[2016-01-13 02:11:49.312] Submitted, but rejected AUX block 1041848

And block has been rejected by the network which is absolutely normal
To make a long story short this happens because of your mining software.
The above statement is true if this happend for LTC BLOCK Wink

From the other side it is not such a bad thing because same share solved and confirmed LTC block  Wink

ok... make sense... so what mining software is currently top-dog in mining scrypt?
Is there a way to find out what my hardware or Asics miner is using?

I have just edited my post  Wink it was not LTC block change so it is ok. If primary block hash was changed this share should not be submitted. About minig software I do not know. I have experience wit BTC asic minig only.
And cpu miner minerd to test stuff ....
By the way apart of the speed (limited from cpu)  minerd is a great pice of software. It rocks.
Ps: on a second thought most of the non solo pools will reject your shares because by the book your miner shall obey job restrts. But once again if it obeyed your ltc block would be not found also Wink
Life sucks at times
And congratulations  for your first LTC solo block dude!

I forgot to mention how my "Polo mining adventure went". I contacted Polos support and they deposited the coins into my account. They did ask for me to avoid using Polo for mining as they do not accept generated blocks. So a word of advice to everyone, if you want to mine directly to your own address, make sure you get your own wallet and use that.
Polo support was very helpful tho so +1 for them

Folks,
I just wanna know how mail notifications work for you.
I see some of you are getting mails fine. I also see that some of you have trouble setting them up. Once again - Your password you should have pass:dogeadrdogeaddr:yourmail:type=postive integer number as described in pool home page. If you do not care about doge coins please use for your password something like x:x:yourmail:type=postive integer number
Please note first x:x: are needed and can not be omitted. Otherwise your password string will not be parsed correctly and you will not get mails at all

Hello,

I have tried type=51 and type=19, but I never seem to be getting any mail. my email is a gmail.com addy. I have checked the spam folder and nothing there. Would be great if the issue could be resolved.

I am quite sure my command line is correct:

bfgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://tbdice.org:13334 -u LcJeTMPbpaYZngJjnsBoztYnSqTEADgP6s.deeneendo -p x:DMBxK5j76YqaSCou7r8pinSRypt8ZiHFJK:deeneendo@gmail.com:type=19 -S MLD:all --set MLD:clock=224

I paste the whole line, as you can see, I am running some Futurebit Moonlanders.

Thanks for help!

Hi,
In short it is an old pool bug unfortunately. The issue is that if you do enter correct password from the first time, your mail address is not zero terminated. Any way. There are two ways to make it work
1.You to Use diferent LTC address if possible.
2. Me to do pool restart.
Please let me know if you can change your ltc address. If it is not possible to do that I will do pool restart then
Thanks and sorry for inconvenience
Best
loshia
PS: anyway I have just restarted pool for luck Wink
Now all looks good and mails shall come. Please let me know if all is good

No matter what pool say if you see that your transaction is confirmed by network (20 confirms in this moment) it means it is confirmed and that is all Cheesy

Congrats.
You can always follow blok link and check if your address is in cb generation transaction and thre are at least 2+ confirmations. After that all shall be good

I had to switch wallets to the Electrum. Much easier to use since had so many problems with my last block. Thanks again for your help! I did find another LTC block as well as DOGE which I will continue to leave as donations. Also, a big thanks for making this site available. For someone who has been unemployed for awhile and not able to have any income this has been an enormous help for me. Its nice to have a bit of luck for a change.

There are issues with DNS servers. I do hope they will be resolved ASAP

Quick update
I am happy to announce that our avarage luck is super taking into account current lucky strike.
I am positive that all of our constant miners are making between 5% -10% more compared to any LTC pool out there.
