Hi, everybody! I've recently upgraded Decredition to 1.5.1, and now every time I launch it I get this kind of error



I have to restart the app at least a couple of times before I can actually open my wallet. Has anybody encountered the same problem? I'd like to know how to solve it, it's a bit irritating.

1.51 is working perfectly for me, where 1.4 wouldn't sync.

Yeah, everything is fine. It's all started after I updated Decredition, nothing else changed.

Having this problem in the last few versions of the wallet. Asked in discord chat and got a reply that my hardware might be corrupted.

So every time I am opening a wallet (once a month to buy a ticket) I delete blocks_ffldb folder
C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Dcrd\data

And the wallet downloads the whole blockchain again and opens it. Kind of annoying but as I don't open my wallet often I can live with it.

Thanks for sharing, but I'd rather restart Decredition a couple of times, would be much faster anyway. Just realised that I don't have that much of a problem after all

Hahhah, yeah. I tried your solution already but it doesn't work for me. Gave up after 10 restarts

Apparently it's just this thread that is abandoned. I wish it weren't the case but it seems this forum is getting irrelevant as time goes by.

I'd still advise you make the discord channel more visible and keep linking the journal updates here

Past  weekend the list of cointelegraph brazil was released with the top 50 names in the Brazilian crypto market.
We have three members of our community in it, Rafaela Romano from Swipe in #35, Gabriel Rhama from Profitfy and ABFintechs in #31 and Edilson Osorio Jr from OriginalMy, who came in first!

I take this opportunity to mention that OriginalMy.com that use decred blockchain, was published in the teaching cases area of Sage, which is a global academic journal, with a lot of credibility.
This means that universities worldwide will study OriginalMy as a business model in the classroom.
Now the coolest part is the published images: Edilson had made registration available only through Decred blockchain and collected all the prints with the Decred logo on the screen, blockexplorer, etc. You can see some examples in the last photos of the article.
That way he managed to put Decred logo in the classroom of universities around the world!

I'm still here, waiting for Decred staking to reach 60% of circulating supply, and ticket price to 200 DCR before FOMO.

In the past few days, we saw a significant sign of DCR/BTC trend reversal on the charts that's not just a blip (IMHO)
I expect price action will be interesting from here on...
