I don't see that happening either.
People have to be persuaded to use bitcoin, but for most of them fiat money is sufficient enough for what they are doing.
They see no reason why to try something like bitcoin, when their old way of handling money just works fine.
Besides, using bitcoin needs some technical interest of the people, I think a lot of them do not have that.

Me either.  I do not think that it can and will replace fiat currency.  People are more familiar with fiat currency and there is no hard time to use it.  Also there is no electricity, computer, internet connection, and password needed to complete a transaction of buying things on the store or supermarket.  But like what you said it could be possible but not as of the moment and not so soon.  It will take time for it to happen.  But it could be possible.

Me either.  I do not think that it can and will replace fiat currency.  People are more familiar with fiat currency and there is no hard time to use it.  Also there is no electricity, computer, internet connection, and password needed to complete a transaction of buying things on the store or supermarket.  But like what you said it could be possible but not as of the moment and not so soon.  It will take time for it to happen.  But it could be possible.

Even how good bitcoin features is but with lack of support by the government it will only be limited to a certain number of people, when the government sees this is a threat to them which is really a big threat due to some tax issue, they can declare this as illegal and we know how government can make things possible.

The popularity of bitcoin is nothing compared to the popularity of fiat, and the popularity of bitcoin is because as you said it fluctuates and that can generate profits for someone who invests but if it moves in a positive way, if it moves negatively then it can be a disaster for the investors.

Bitcoin could replace, but the price of 1 single bitcoin would have to be maybe 200k dollars as the global economy is quite high compared to bitcoin value, anyway would be funny to see 0,001 worthing near 1 milion or more. But bitcoin at this stage cant replace the fiat, because the decentralization, a new bitcoin can be built controlled by all the countries.

yeah correctly there is no point for dreaming bitcoin can replace money. why we not push bitcoin as a investment option even hard to replace gold as the best investment but i think this thing more relevant.

It's good to be optimistic but not too realistic, even bitcoin will become so popular it cannot compete with dollars which is a very strong currency and not will even happen in the future.

No it will never happen.As you've mentioned about stores accepting bitcoins that is fine,we can even expect big players like Amazon or Ebay to star accepting bitcoins as an alternate paying method but they won't completely replace the fiat.The government will never allow that for obvious reasons.

You are right,  bitcoin will never replace fiat money in any country in this world,  it will never happen.  The best thing for bitcoin is to be an alternative payment for internet trading for people in around the world.
