I don't think Bitcoin by itself can replace fiat currency because banks and governments are way too strong and they won't let us little people take full control of the financial global system but as more and more societies and people decide to wake up then it could become a prominent part of people's saving portfolio.

At its current standing, I think it cannot replace fiat anytime sooner. There are a lot of problems in terms of development e.g. we cannot come into a solid conclusion of the block size debate among others. Also, not many people know about and understand the workings of bitcoin. they simply cannot comprehend, and it takes a lot of time for that to happen knowing that they are used to using fiat and fiat alone in their spending.

I think it's quite obvious that bitcoin can never replace fiats . Like what wil happen to trading and the exchange businesses? See It doesn't make sense . There are many hurdles to overcome for bitcoin to replace fiat however bitcoin as another form of payment into some businesses is a great thing and might happen anytime soon.
bitcoin in its current form functions extremely well the way we use it. in that aspect there is basically no need for bitcoin to replace anything. especially because it's simply not realistic to think bitcoin has even a slight chance to replace any fiat currency. people should stop hoping for this to happen. it's a waste of time. |

There is a possibility that it will be happens in the future.
Why? Because as far as we all know, most of the people recognizing the bitcoin as their digital money. They are using it to buy their needs. It is very useful for them. So it can might replace the money soon.
It will not happen because in many countries bitcoin is not that much popular and people are not aware of bitcoin. And bitcoin is accepted in very few stores while fiat is accepted in any store, so bitcoin will not gonna replace fiat or money. and as the government and the banks are against bitcoin so we cannot think that one day everywhere bitcoin will be used and there will be no any papaer money. Bitcoin will establish but the nations will keep surviving their national currency. |

yeah I would think that would be an option only bitcoin currency only and not to be the main currency in the world and replace fiat It will not going to be an option rather it can be declared as a secondary currency for each country. Even though the fact that bitcoin won't replace fiat money. Unless the government of America is going to promote the usage of bitcoin as secondary currency then most of the countries will able to do the same. But as of now it is not going to happen. |

Fiat is more stronger than bitcoin because fiat is accepted worldwide, on the other hand bitcoin is not accepted in many countrie's stores and even there are some countries where people have no knowledge about bitcoin so for now it will not gonna happen. |

I like how Bitcoin is right now. I don't want it to be any different as everyone can use Bitcoin already as an alternative. You have the point let's not point out that bitcoin is able to replace the fiat money so as long as we are able to use it for our currency and investment then just use it. But I don't think that bitcoin will be replaced the money system of a country easily because there are certain law that needs to be followed. As of now, it is not going to happen but I don't know if in the future if this is possible. |

They would not really support bitcoin for sure because of some characteristics of it and one is it is decentralized and government couldnt able to control it and government would not like that for sure.
