Bitcoin is never going to replace money because it is going to be different from country because it would not be possible for Bitcoin to take over all currencies. Maybe that it will take over a currency from a certain country but I think that it is not going to happen.
We don't know what is going to happen in the future but if we are going to base on our modern era. There are many billionaires that are preferring to use money which has been digitized and bitcoin is good to count and consider with it. So I think that is possible in the future but that is not possible to happen in this days. Well, there is no impossible things that would happen as this world changes from time to time, we do not know the future so there is possibility but what we are talking here is the chances and I believe the chances to make that happen is very low. How can a limited type of currency be circulated all around the world? 21000000 ain't enough for all of us. And the rich ones will take advantage of it and will hoard it for its price to increase. The government will take certain steps of precautions before that will ever happen. There are bad scenarios that will happen if you think that bitcoin will ever replace fiat money.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Bitcoin cant replace fiat anytime soon no matter how it would be succesful but still theres no chance that could replace fiat in any way.

A change to something that is *more* backed by something as opposed to just trust would be a huge change.

Let's be realistic with our wishes. This is not possible to happen in next 10 years. After reading comments here on forum about next economic crises I was thinking that exactly that crises can help. They can speed up the process, cause after economy crash most currencies will go down, and there will be a chance for bitcoin to take higher position in worlds market's. Predictions are saying that we can expect this crash very soon, economists are trying to warn the people, but nothing is happening really, richer are richer, this will explode one day, its just a question of time.

Yes theres a possibility that bitcoin can replace money but dollar only.. it seems like usa is wickening and the only thing they can rely on is the usd. So bitcoin will replace dollar someday.
yes its possible but its not for short time, i think its really hard to replaces the money because people still have big trust to the fiat. i think if the world economic is really ruin in every where and people need currency that have stable to use in every place, then bitcoin can replaces the money.

I don't think so. Bitcoin wouldn't be able to replace currencies. It is anonymous and requires Internet to be used, so poor countries or families cannot really use Bitcoin unless we find a way to be able to send transactions offline too, or unless the Internet will be extremely cheap/free.

Now in some places to buy goods directly can use bitcoin, how to conduct transactions directly using bitcoin? Because I place no purchases using bitcoin.
Nowadays has developed, which initially buy goods directly can only be used with the currency and credit cards, and can now use bitcoin although only in some places. Is it possible that the next few years means of exchange for transactions money initially turned into bitcoin?
What do you think about this?
Bitcoin is used by a very small number of people. I dont think it can completely send money out of use.Governments will never allow bitcoin to beat their national currencies Yes that is impossible that bitcoin can ever replace paper money in future and even if bitcoin gets more popular in future it can never exceed the number of users of fiat. It is possible of course but the chances of making it happen is very dim, bitcoin is not a big thing if you will compare with the paper money which is enforce and regulated by the government, you cannot deny the fact that we are all using paper money and we see it as money than bitcoin. Bitcoin couldn't replace fiat money because the currency of every country is fundamental thing. as we know bitcoin juxtapose with fiat money as the exchange rate comparison, so it's support each other.

Indeed, fiat is considered as a blood on every state because all things are being moved by money which it circulates on the economy. It wont really function if fiat presence isnt there thats why fiat plays an important role on economic state and thats too hard to bitcoin to replace it.

Even if bitcoin would improve and be famous, money will still be money, it is much more convenient to use money in real life.. Bitcoin is good in online use, but I don't think that it could beat money in real life use. So, I think, NO, it can't change money but could possibly be a substitute in online transaction instead of linking your cards.. exactly right, not one currency can replace fiat money even 1000 year more than now, we still use fiat money because fiat is under control by government. That is true that no cryptocurrency can replaced money its because bitcoin is not a legal currency it is digital currency which we can not hold physically that money and we can not spend it for our daily needs while money are always available to spend if you have and all store accepting fiat than bitcoin as their form of payment. Bitcoin is a legal currency globally. It is the countries choice if he want to restrict bitcoin or not. After all, usage of bitcoin is more convenient in first world countries since technology is widely use in their place. This is not yet advisable in third world countries. I do not think that Bitcoin is ever going to replace money because that would be so much work and it also can be different per country. Maybe that some countries are going to let Bitcoin be there main currency.

Thousands of people believe in Bitcoin and can argue their position. You call them stupid, but you can not say anything more and to prove. If you do not believe in Bitcoin, then please explain why. I think many will be interested

in my opinion your thinking about to btc to fiat is not much far . because the legalisation of bitcoin now started and in India three banks now going to join with blockchain directly so it may be possible soon to make individually the convert btc to fiat

Possibly yes in the near future but not entirely. Fiat I think would still be the main currency in the coming decade or more though I think other currencies would be accepted, especially bitcoin as some countries are already supporting this right now. But for the question if it can actually replace the current monetary system? I don't think I'd be able to see that in my lifetime

I don't think bitcoin will be able to replace money, from the amount itself, bitcoin won't be able to support half of the world wealth, and then for now the transaction speed still become number one problem why some store doesn't want to use bitcoin, so I don't think bitcoin can replace money

If all the people in the world converts all their fiat into Bitcoin, it will just inflate Bitcoins. Bitcoin doesn't have to be billions in number in order to support the wealth of the world. Actually, even if the number of Bitcoins in circulation is lower, it would still be okay because as more people convert their fiat into Bitcoins, it will just continue increasing its value.
