Not Bitcoin, but something backed by blockchain technology
Even not Blockchain technology. As it is too expensive, too much hunger for ressources. Most likely, online banking will be revamped, allowing micro transactions as well. The www definitely is in dire need for micro payment, as it gives some control, in order to raise quality over quantity regarding user created content. BTC has been a nice draft, a glance into cryptography, but not more. Cryptography itself is indispensable for any online transaction.

I think it could happen but not soon. It will take some time till the bitcoin can even do it. Maybe in about 10 years it will replace it if the banks let it.
even though in 10 years again bitcoin never replaces money, it couldn't happen! we need think how can bank allow bitcoin replaces money and it will be problem with goverments

At any situation banks won't let it to occupy the local money. bitcoin will be used by most people but it won't replace money. If such situation arises sure the government will ban use of bitcoin else will impose restrictions for use.

I think it can not happen anyway. Many people do not even know what Bitcoins and that is unfortunate. Because I think more people should know what Bitcoins.

So what if it does happen? Maybe we'll get lucky and banks will declare all bankruptcy.

That will not happen. That is certainly not going to happen. Because I think namely Dollar remains strong. Perhaps Bitcoin it is popular, but he does not take over.

Agreed, dollar will always rule the world for sure, bitcoin will be more strong and popular in future but it can never replace dollar or become a primary currency, bitcoin will always be used as a secondary currency.

More of supplement rather than replace FIAT. Bitcoin and money should go hand in hand for the future of world currency.

That's true fiat will be used more as compared to bitcoin even in future, as majority of people are the users of fiat and they have more faith in fiat, and the main reason is they don't find many shops that accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment.

Not with faith in fiat but in some other places, even with a whole community brainstorming, it will be really hard to achieved. Bitcoin is virtual and the only way to access it is via online. How about those in rural places and away from the city. Bitcoin is made not to replace the money.

Here paper money will win the race over bitcoin, as the volume of users that uses paper money are more as compared to digital money, even today we need to convert our bitcoins to fiat currency as we cannot use bitcoins physically.

If every thing gets digital then bitcoin can replace money in future, but it is difficult to predict that everything is going digital especially in third world countries, they would continue to use paper money and not the digital currency.
