Question from a HODL-beginner (but meanwhile # 2 on http://hodl.optiminer.pl/) I am mining on a Windows10 PC in a DOS-Window using the hodlminer-optiminer-fork.zip ( http://cryptomining-blog.com/8196-new-faster-hodlminer-and-a-new-mining-pool-for-it-now-available/) I installed the HOdlcoin Core - Wallet (HOdlcoin Core Version v3.0.1 (64-Bit)). I mined and transfered 50 this morning. I transfered the "Principal"( ) to my Deposit. Since then I mined further and now, the mining-stats say: - balance: 58.583
- pending balance: 3.041
- pending payout: 0.000

- Immature: 75.49408949 HODL
- Total: 75.49449277 HODL
- Available: 0.00040328
RIGHT SIDE / Recent transactions- 13.07.17 09:21 +49.99998840 HODL (received with my HODLadress ...)
- 13.07.17 09:21 +0.00040325 (HODL-Adress I dont know)
- 13.07.17 05:15 +50.00000000 (Mined Confirmed 310 confimations)
BOTTOM / HOdlings (only one row)- Status HOdled
- Principal 49.99998840
- Accrued Interest 0.00822637
- Accrued Value 50.00822637
- On Maturation 75.49473154
- Term (Days) 365
- Deposit Block 0281625
- Maturation Block 0486391
- Estimated Date 2018/07/13
MY QUESTIONS: 1. The requirement for a payout? I thought: Balance >=50 then payout 2. After a payout I need 21 confirmations before the mined 50 (Blocks/HODLES???) are transfered to my pending balance? 3. After each payout I have to transfer the pending amount to my deposit?

I quote myself from some posts before:
If you discover a difference you can start a reindex of your local block chain by entering 'hodlcoin-qt.exe -reindex' in a DOS box
Your hodlcoin-qt.exe file can be found under windows in c:\program files\hodlcoin (or the folder where your HodlCoin link points to)
Good Luck!
Dear Jabba, you saved my coins, after downloading the new wallet it didnt solve my problem , till i saw your ( second) reply about reindex, i did what you wrote and after resync i saw my coins back at my wallet ... thx again for your help...

suprnova pool, optiminer isn't compatible, just checked
I thought suprnova hodl pool was dead Last we heard from optiminer he said he had shutdown the pool. ( i think it was around the time someone had try'd something with negative timestamps, which is the primary reason we had to create the 3.0.1 wallet ). Officially we don't really promote pool's, the ANN front page says clearly, "Mining direct from the wallet is very efficient and is the recommended way of supporting the network." Having said that there are hodl pools out there... Optiminer's pool is alive and well as far as I can tell. I'm still getting blocks from it. hodl.optiminer.pl has been running smoothly for the last weeks, yes. And suprnova hodl pool was restarted when the requirement to hodl mined coins for a year was removed.

Hi,
Can anyone help, I have u[graded to v3 but my blockchain is not updating, it says I am connected to the network.
but I get the following errors in the log :-
2017-07-08 11:07:57 ERROR: AcceptBlockHeader: block is marked invalid 2017-07-08 11:07:57 ERROR: invalid header received 2017-07-08 11:07:57 ProcessMessages(headers, 178003 bytes) FAILED peer=14
Thanks
hi , welcome to Hodlcoin. I hope you mean v3.0.1 , it can sometimes help to start the wallet with some known peer node ip addresses who are on v3.0.1 , you can find the list here , http://www.fuzzbawls.pw/explore/HOdlcoin/network.phppush the nodes button next to 3.0.1 and add some of those to your hodlcoin.conf file which is in same dir as your wallet.dat file. Then start your wallet again. I thanks, I actually needed to start a reindex of my local blockchain, but all up and running now, thanks

I was thinking if it's possible for the wallet to autohodl funds received because during holidays I won't be able to access computer for maybe some days or maybe weeks, who knows
Good suggestion! Added as a feature request - https://github.com/HOdlcoin/HOdlcoin/issues/99

Just add this line (without quotation mark) "miningaddress=walletAddressThatYouWantToMineTo" to your hodlcoin.conf file in your ....AppData\Roaming\HOdlcoin folder. The wallet should mine to whatever address that you listed.

I don't have a ....AppData\Roaming\HOdlcoin I have a 'mining' directory from where I run the hodleminer.exe via a simple batch file, and have my wallet installed in a separate directory I have not tweeked it or optimized it in any way (mainly as I don't know how too), so probably not as efficient as it could be

Be sure your cpu support them; otherwise, the miner will crash.

Optiminer's pool pays out using the structure created when everything you mined was automatically hodl'ed for 1 year in your wallet. So, when your balance reaches 50 hodl, you 'get in line' with anyone else who has a balance of 50 or more, and when it is your turn an entire block (50 hodl) is mined to your address, thus paying you 50 hodl. Now, since the last fork, mined coins don't autohodl, so yes, you will have to manually deposit anything that you want to HODL in a term deposit in your wallet.

Can't sync, anyone having the same problem. Stuck at 278862
make sure to use v3.0.1 , you may need to start with -reindex flag takes about 45 mins to rebuild the block index ( this does not redownload the blockchain ) you may need to start with -reindex flag, what does that mean ?!?! You can start a reindex of your local block chain by entering 'hodlcoin-qt.exe -reindex' in a DOS box Your hodlcoin-qt.exe file can be found under windows in c:\program files\hodlcoin (or the folder where your HodlCoin link points to) Reindexing worked fine. I ran the solomining with my laptop (67 H/S) and got 3700 Hodl after one day. The last time I mined was a couple of months back and I got mayb 50 Hold/day. Any explanation?

Most likely you're on a wrong chain. Are you using wallet v3.0.1? Check your balance using the block explorer. Here the link... http://www.fuzzbawls.pw/explore/HOdlcoin/index.php
