project looking inteesting right now!
bought some coins  Smiley

Thanks!  We're doing everything we can to make sure as many people feel this way as possible. Smiley If this is your first BURST purchase, welcome to the community, hope you stick around, as there will be many new and exciting things to come!

I'd like to take this time to personally thank every member of the BURST team. Without you guys, we'd have nothing. You're the best. Thank you for your selfless efforts within the coin, even when there seemed no hope left to some, you didn't let that affect you, and for these reasons, and many more, you are to be praised! You guys are a true bunch of badasses. Not many people will work as much for free as you have, for the glimpse of joy at the end of an arduous and trap-laden rainbow.

To the BURST team! Here's to 2016 and beyond, the year of the GREEN currencies, the year of the awesome technology realizations, the year of the change in thought process of many, and the gathering of the masses in support of projects that make sense. Down with the scams, down with the needless burning of power, and possible house fires!

Up with innovation, decentralization, and the way of the most sense. The way that makes people understand the things that before seemed impossible, and the way that leads to success for the ones who knew how to make it such.

Join the ones who are doing this, be one of the few not sponsored by millions of dollars and hype, build a foundation of awesomeness, and strive to make it more, and make it accessible, loved, and made use of to the ones who could not before even know where to find it, let alone understand and use it! Get there with the help of an awesome team, and feel good about it, because it is awesome.

Okay, carry on...

Still looking for more comments and suggestions, etc, on my pre-release asset draft papers...

https://docs.google.com/document/d/12o7gnqFWqnJFb1mPNDTwgdsCqoxavkdvJx3hF7LvCXo/edit?usp=sharing

Excellent job. Lookin forward to read full release

Thanks, and honestly there shouldn't be all that much of a difference between this and the final version, aside from dates and numbers finalized, etc. I want to make sure to give everyone enough time to review, make decisions, etc. Also, the longer I wait it's just the more I have to show for what I do during the time. So I'm not in a rush to get this out by any means.

That being said, I do hope to have the final done and at least have dates set, and numbers as close to final as possible, within a few weeks or so. I think something like this gives people real investment options, as it is a real company, and real share style investment option, so they're likely to need more time in which to talk to their people, and come up with the plan that they believe is best for them in regards to the asset.

If anyone has any sort of suggestion within any aspect of it, simply comment there on the doc itself, or here, or in the thread I opened specifically for it, and I'll be more than happy to check them out, and make changes if they're something that makes sense. Also, if anything I've written seems unfair in any way, or if you'd like expansion on some aspect, let me know!

I'm looking forward to the year, it will be very exciting to say the least! I have a few other ideas as well, on my own, and with multiple partners, and one with a partner who has no idea he's going to be doing this aspect of things too, but he will! So be on the lookout for many exciting projects coming from my direction and that of my close team and partners.

On another note, I've found irontiga. I figured he'd come back randomly, and that's exactly what he did. This means that soon enough we'll be modifying the links on the info site, and whatever else eneds done that we were unable to do without our beloved metal cat.

Is there a miner that works on raspberry pi? I have tired Uray's, and JMiner, I can't make Uray's miner, and raspberry pi have no support for OpenCL. Is there another miner that works with raspberry pi?

Good job man, looking forward to see where this goes. Thanks for your solid contribution to the network, and for being part of the community. You came in at a point when most were questioning, but still saw what potential was here, and for that, you deserve recognition. I think there should be more like you who have the faith in the project needed to do things like this. Carry on good sir!

Sure no problem, I enjoy BURST, it has a lot of potential, I saw big potential in it back then and I still see it today.

Income, I'm very glad for what you do, but i really want to hear about a payment soon. I would also like to ask if you could do every trade with income on the exchange and not from the income address. So income gain burst from every asset not in the main address, so we can calculate how many burst coins you have. I'm asking because i'm afraid of the ICO scam. (The owner can buy as many coins (or assets) as he/she likes, because the money will end in the his/her pocket anyway. )
Why am i asking? Because i found these transactions, 256536736663650702, 16969936653431141626 and 6859442588472710563. The last one is the cheap "burned" asset, guess what, the asset is not burned anymore. You can view the rest on block.burstcoin.info, just use the search function.
Back to income, if you can send income to anyone you like, and they still get paid dividends from that, you reduce the profit from actually investing owners, and the dividends has also been "delayed" for the second time. You need to start paying out, use your own money. It's your asset, you need to prove it's worth it.
You are a big person in the community, so get up and bring hope back. I still believe in you, but others don't. Look at history, people are selling more then buying.

Those transactions are part of the RESERVEBNK takeover, I wrote about that a few pages ago, I put all of my assets holdings into that asset serving as an umbrella.

Keeping the assets in burned mode is mostly a waste of good income, so I thought why not create another asset and put that income to the work. Although it's not very active yet, but as soon as I acquire more income to it, it will pay dividends regularly.

Besides they are burned now there, I wont sell them , I will buy more of them, and all my previous assets are still supported like CHEAP, I havent abandoned any of them.

Regarding the dividends, It will be paid out soon, we had some bad weeks with the casino investments, SD went shady and our new casino investment was slower than though, but that is changing now.

I`m still working on a side income from trading and I`m doing well at the moment, although I dont trade at Yobit anymore, too many scam coins there, so we will have less ROI but more stable investments.

The original funds we still have, I trade from my own money now, and when I`m confident enough I`ll put some of the fund money in.

I see that people are impatient but making money is not as easy as it sounds.

Bounty:
NEW - (well, old bounty, new addition to OP) - crowetic is offering a 500k + a number of ByteEnt assets to be determined for development of the front end of http://burst.ninja pool.
NEW - Bounty offered for development work leading towards a decentralized exchange (more info @ forum.burstcoin.info)
NEW - Bounty offered for new BURST graphics designs
NEW - crowetic offering personal bounty paid in BURST to hopefully attract BURST people to it, for various development projects both BURST and non, and for anyone willing to develop a BURST related service.

Bounty for new graphcis design is still open ?

Looks like, if you want more information ask @crowetic, he is the person paying- and creating the bounties. (If I understands it correctly).
Edit: Your portfolio is not working. Points to http://"http://aizstyle.portfoliobox.net/logo", instead of http://aizstyle.portfoliobox.net/logo

Is there a miner that works on raspberry pi? I have tired Uray's, and JMiner, I can't make Uray's miner, and raspberry pi have no support for OpenCL. Is there another miner that works with raspberry pi?

https://github.com/kartojal/burst_arm_tools

It looks like Uray's miner sends all deadlines to the pool, would that impact payouts in a negative way? I use burst.ninja, if so, how do i setup dcct miner up with .ninja?

I know that the income from casino investments has fallen a bit, (SD and all that). So it's good that you have a backup plan, so I wish you good luck with trading.

Hello Burst World.

Been a few days since I have been able to get on here.

I see there is some stuff going on here with Burst huh?

Price went up a little i see to.  That is great for everyone.

I am getting around all the assets returns to see what we totaled.  and will be sending out payments tomorrow sometime.  Really wanted to get to this sooner but have not been able to.

Work is still being done on the playground by a friend of mine.  I really hope he can get something working ere soon.

Have a few other projects in the working as well for Burst.  But I wont mention them yet.

Glad Burst is getting more active.

I am trying to help a friend set up his BURST wallet, write plots and mine.

He downloaded the newest online wallet (from the link on the previous page) and created an account. He received some coins from me and sent one back (for activation, right?.

When he tries to write plots he gets this error message: your BURST account is not activated, mistyped or does not exist.

What else does he need to do to activate his account?

That should be sufficient - check for a typo in the account ID on the miner.

I tested it now. It should work... Maybe you have to wait for 3 Blocks for confirmation.

something else he could try is to log out and log back in.  Make sure he is on the account that he activated.  Click on online wallet and then back to the offline wallet.  Log back in again using the paraphrase.   I had the same issue when I first started with burst.

It was a typo in the account ID! It is working now and he is writing his plots. Thanks to all for the replies.

Next problem:

When he tries to set his reward assignment through the built-in guide (using windows client version 0.2), he presses Change, gets a popup with instructions, but then the page won't load for him to enter the details necessary to set the reward assignment. I told him to manually go to http://localhost:8125/rewardassignment.html using his browser, but that page won't load either. Any idea what to do?

make sure that is spelled correctly as well.  If he is on Burst.Ninja.  at the top left of the screen he can just click on reward assignment and it will open the page.

Also make sure the Burst Server is running on the machine.  If it is not it will not work.

Let me know if you get it.  Also so you know if you change the reward receipt it can be done from any machine.  Doesnt have to be the one you are mining with.  Change it on one computer another state away it changes on your miner as well as long as your miner is pointed to the pool you are mining with.

But please check to make sure the server is running.
and the spelling.  Or just click on the link on Burst.Ninja.   see if that works for you.

you can also try: 127.0.0.1:8125/rewardassignment.html instead of local host.  heads to the same location.

Thanks for the feedback. In the next release there will be a fallback for the reward assignment in case Java is not installed or found.

If he is only running the online wallet, does that mean that he is not running a local server, and that is why it is not working?

Your way worked, and am I correct in assuming that is because he is running an online server because he is using an online wallet?

make sure that is spelled correctly as well.

If he is only running the online wallet, does that mean that he is not running a local server, and that is why it is not working?

Next problem:

When he tries to set his reward assignment through the built-in guide (using windows client version 0.2), he presses Change, gets a popup with instructions, but then the page won't load for him to enter the details necessary to set the reward assignment. I told him to manually go to http://localhost:8125/rewardassignment.html using his browser, but that page won't load either. Any idea what to do?

He can do it with our online wallet:  https://wallet.burst-team.us:8125/rewardassignment.html

H.

Your way worked, and am I correct in assuming that is because he is running an online server because he is using an online wallet?

He's probably running a local copy of the wallet - but it's not caught up yet. Until the wallet gets up to date he's trying to do stuff way back in the past - that doesn't work.

Bounty for new graphcis design is still open ?

Looks like, if you want more information ask @crowetic, he is the person paying- and creating the bounties. (If I understands it correctly).

Thanx for pointing that out.. fixed:)

I really like the idea of this coin.  It keeps the Proof of Work spirit of building awesome rigs, yet uses a fraction of the power.  May grab an extra HDD for my computer and mine, have missed having rigs around since selling off most my hardware Smiley

Update: Margin
You more about it here: http://forum.burstcoin.info:4567/topic/35/ann-margin/7.

Payout

It is not much of a payment, but i have got a little above 0.00069994 bitcoins, but 0.00069994 is what i payout. I have placed a buy order at 17. If it's not filled by 18:00 (UTC +1), i will buy at a higher price.

Bot and Investment

This is the core of the asset. Before today i have given 1 hint, guess why the asset is called margin? I have said i'm not trading so...

Yes, the bot is a margin lending bot. You might say, Aren't that risky? It's not. Short version: You provide a collateral, if your balance ever reach under the loaded amount the loan get canceled and the personer offering the loan get safe away. Long version: https://poloniex.com/support/aboutMarginTrading/

This is our saving. Around 0.2 of the bitcoins is mine. Read more about it in the forum.burst thread.

Thanks for reading. I'm looking forward into our new asset.

Edit:
Don't want to post 1 more time, but do anybody have the asset script? I have tried to use the online one... It's stopped reaction. Grin. I can't even try to make a new session.
I will not be paying today, i'm very sorry, but it's late and I need sleep. Margin is payed and everything, Vector isn't. Check your payments on the sheet.
