I got my wallet activated by receiving and sending now. How can I change the password? I tried to look for information on http://burstcoin.info/, but there are so many links that do not work there...
Your password - it's your key for wallet. You can't change a password.
New pass = new wallet

I thought so, just had to check  Angry

Got my disk plotted now, gonna try out mining BURST for the first time if I can make it work  Smiley

Welcome to BURST, hopefully you'll find (as most others did/do) that the coin is a fantastic set of technologies, and a great and helpful community. (yes, there was a bit of nonsense and squabbling in the past, but I think most of that is gone now, and instead, only focus on improving, and pushing BURST into the future!)

I for one, am doing everything I can to get BURST mainstream.

@ all -

Going to be doing a promotion soon to get traffic to my new cloud site, stay tuned...

Yes, I know I've got a lot that I'm planning, but you can actually SEE the progress on the cloud, at least...

Feel free to login to the test account, and see what you think. Bear in mind, this is a beta server, and thus it will not be the permanent home for the cloud, so don't freak out if it isn't screaming fast right now, and also, since it is a beta, there may be brief times where I'm restarting services running on it, or restarting the server itself... So yea...

Here's the test account info...

user - test
password - test

difficult, right? The test account only has 5GB of available storage, so not too much use for actual storage, but you can test out some of the stuff and let me know if you hit snags, also, use the BURST wallet, etc.

If you'd like your own beta account, that you can use to sync devices an so much more, let me know, and I'll be happy to oblige...

https://cloud.crowetic.com

Thanks, and here's to a bright future for BURST!

I have a hard time logging in with that username and password.
I might have done something wrong, but would you check that the password and username is both test?

Yea, seems immediately after I posted this there were various malicious things that came about... one of which is that someone modified the account's password. I'm currently doing some maintenance on the host and as such the site will be down for a while. I'll let you all know when it is coming back. Thanks.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I got the mining working, but I only have 90 GB for now. I guess that won't yield high rewards, but at least it's a start.  Smiley I'm mining on burst.ninja.

In the next few weeks I'm going to be upgrading the VM host that's running the *.burst-team.us VM's to a cluster of hosts. When the upgrade is complete there is going to be a large quantity of excess capacity on the cluster. If anyone is interested in running a VM for a Burst related project (or non Burst related, but Burst related will be preferred/discounted), drop me a PM to discuss.

That is something we talked about.  I still may take you up on that offer.  Rather pay you then someone else.

Busy few days.  Anything new in the Burst Community?

Ok guys I`m back, I was very busy the last days, and also I have good news, I think I found another profitable revenue stream for the income fund, and I`ll add bitcoins to it very soon. My market analysis has become profitable, and I can now trade bitcoins and add the profits into the investment funds.

It will be a very nice addition to the money we already make!

Hello everyone,

My new asset margin is very underfunded. So i will also be posting in this thread.
I would like more people to invest in it, because people bought a lot of both bank assets. Even at more then the issued price, but both bank asset have died.
That is why i have made Margin. Margin will pay minimum 1% of the invested amount in bitcoins.

Live vector i will always buy the assets back, Margin will be bought at 90%. (45 burst). I will buy back 2500 assets at anytime. If people wanted to sell more, a delay should be expected.

acc. to my miners, at block 189879 , basetarget is 5943250  almost 6 million, this is the easisest and most profitable mining i have seen in a long while. Here's hoping i can get me some easy blocks and a lot of extra BURST...

now it is 6002996

i'd love to see stats for the last few hours or so, could it be that bitladen is down again?

As i understand it, bitladen always sold all his coins as soon as they were mined.  Him going away should reduce the selling pressure on the exchanges a bit. Burst could rise the next month or so, just bc of this.

I just bought myself some Income and Margin assets along with a few others. Looking forward to seeing how they work out!

I'm also in the process of plotting 2 TB now, so I should be able to mine a bit more than with 90 GB, lol.

did some changes to the site though, that I'm pleased about.

Good night all.

Just wanted to note that I've made a couple modifications to the OP (...)

Not sure if it's just me, but for the list of exchanges, the logo for Poloniex is coming up as invalid and the white Bittrex one doesn't really work with the background colour of the forum.

Maybe try this one: instead of   if you want one the same size.

Or, as the Polo one is kind of big, can't seem to find a small one:

So maybe a slightly bigger Bittrex one, so they're all similar:

Thanks, I'll make these changes as well.

Also, fixed a few link issues with ones still pointing to original git. Git is now https://github.com/burst-team/burstcoin

Thanks @ DooMAD for the updated links, that looks MUCH better, and yea, I had noticed that but forgotten about it. Thanks again!

Just got contacted from another forum member with an interesting proposal on a project that will directly involve BURST, and also another coin. I will not get into any detail as of now, since he only just contacted me and I've made the first reply in favor of the idea. But I can definitely see things moving in a nice direction.

Also, I should have some updated information as far as what exactly is being worked on within the rest of the team shortly.

I'm planning to work out more detail with my real-world company's asset as well. How/what are the other assets and managers doing?

I purchased myself some of that new one based on the bot... whose name is slipping my mind right now, that was released by Frilled Shark, and I wish him good luck with that.

There will be plenty of hosting available soon as mentioned by Haitch, upcoming, in his new environment he's putting in place, (and trust me when I say, it's a BEAST environment, something any one of us should be excited to get to use even a part of.) I for one, am extremely excited about it. Anyone that has an idea for a project, but doesn't have much cash for hosting, contact haitch to get things setup and moving the right direction.

Now, there is a bit of an 'issue' of sorts currently...

We seem to have misplaced our irontiga. Not only that, but without him, we're currently *temporarily* unable to modify the burstcoin.info website, and thus, it contains broken links at the current time... Yea, we're aware of that. Just unfortunately can't do all that much about it right now...

We're hoping he will come back soon and give us the information needed, but till then, we're pretty much on hold with the website's updates at the given time. We apologize for the issues with broken links/etc, and we'll resolve them as soon as we can.

The security measures in place required tiga to change the passwords for the accounts, and we simply haven't attained the new ones yet.

I do have a drastic option that is possible if we for some reason see a disappearing act once again, but I don't think that should be the case at this time. It has only been a little over 2 weeks or so since I've spoken to dear tiga, and he's generally the type to not stay disappeared for long. heh.

I do retain control of the domain itself, burstcoin.info, thus there's always the potential to move the site and rebuild, would just prefer to not have to do that, as we're staying focused on building more and wouldn't like to have to take that (however small) step sideways, and build the same thing we already have, over again. Simply making the necessary edits and keeping the new template that tiga put up for us (which we like a lot, how about you?) in place.

Oh, also, on an unrelated note, I have some positions that I am going to be looking to fill within something that I would like to eventually build another BURST asset out of part of, it requires a bit of sales magic, so if anyone here is located preferably in the US, and is a good salesman looking to not only make great money, but also build the base of what will become another BURST asset, as well as something to help build a lot more, get in contact with me, and let me know. Thanks!

edit - updated luxe GPU assisted miner download links, and spelling of 'luxes's' to 'luxe's' lol. Also added some commentary on the miner, and made the link larger as the 'recommended miner for people with decent or high end gpu's'

Hee Guys,

Just found this New thread. Nice!

I'm into Burstmining now for almost 1/2 a year now, and loving it!!!

Nice to see more new bursters enter the scene.

Little intro of myself...

My Rig contains:
     laptop
     powered USB3 HUB
    13x 8TB USB3 ex-HDD
and this all uses only 137W at the wall.

(There's more room for another [2] powered USB3 HUB, but my laptop can not handle it).

I use Blago-miner and Blago-pool. (Great russian dude...).
@OP: Why is this pool not in the first post?

I plot in sizes of 7TB, but nowadays getting lazy and plot 1TB on a different pc.
Keep track off the plots in excel, is a must do!
I optimize them to a final ex-HD and put them on my Rig.

So, with 100TB+ I get around 10k burst a day.
(You asked didn't you, so you do the math....). Wink

I also bought some burst and for sure the price must rise.

If I could programm, I for sure would do some things for burst and this community.
But I'm just a lazy miner... Wink

Please do not add the pool to the list, it is a small server for 50-60 miners.

Relax, I’m russian!...

Wow, impressively power efficient. I did not expect external drives to use *that* little power. My external drives have to be plugged into a 220v plug, using an adapter. I fear they use more power than internal HDD's that just feed off the power supply in the case.

What brand of powered USB hub do you use? If it isn't putting a big load on the CPU, i could install one of those and add more external drives, i'm near capacity at the moment, using the motherboard USB controllers, extra internal 2xusb3,2xsata adapters, and 4TB external drives, as well as assorted internal drives. (totalling 24TB, 29TB, 19TB on 3 non-dedicated computers)

acc. to my miners, at block 189879 , basetarget is 5943250  almost 6 million, this is the easisest and most profitable mining i have seen in a long while. Here's hoping i can get me some easy blocks and a lot of extra BURST...

now it is 6002996

i'd love to see stats for the last few hours or so, could it be that bitladen is down again?

bitladen's last submission was on 22-01-2016 04:54:39 UTC.

Network size is currently around 4.6 PB. Happy mining !

I have got new personal record: 24 blocks in 24 hours! Yea!
