Well I do believe that we need banks even the bitcoin is going to have a very high price and going to be a popular crypto currency. The banks are really important in a government. And it is utilizing the financial services in a country, so it is not going to happen that bitcoin is going to make banks disappear, it has an important role to play. Bitcoin is not possible to make the banks disappear because I think they are different. Bitcoin is a crypto so it only applies to the internet while the bank used and are used by many people in their daily lives. Even if bitcoin will boomed it will not change the progress of the bank. Yeah maybe you're right once that bitcoin will not be able to make the banks disappear. Bitcoin is a digital currency while the bank is used in real life. If bitcoin progress it will not affect the bank and the bank will not make disappear. |

If to say about banks in real life, the material part of them(building,workplaces and other material assets) is just infrastructure. You can run different business logic on the same infrastructure. Now this infrastructure is being used to run traditional bank logic but it could be "reprogrammed" to crypto era reality |

No. Bitcoin will impact on how banks are working right now. Many banks are researching about blockchain technology must be a proper evidence for this. Once bitcoin get boomed, it will get chances to enter into mainstream of payments system. That might enforce banks to adopt bitcoin or banks will change their some of existing system based on bitcoin users. Bitcoin will be the future banking system, but my little knowledge is not smart enough to predict how it would be. |

Banks are the strongest financial institutions we have at a moment and comparatively the size of bitcoin is too small and the fact is people have more faith in banks and its difficult to change their mentality.

although it is a fact that in future most of the people will be using bitcoin as it will be more convenient than fiat currency but still it cannot disappear fiat currency and so the important of banks can also be never ignore.

No. Banks have been around for thousands of years and will continue to be institutions for off-person savings. Whether it is fiat or crypto they are responsible for is irrelevant
This question is basically asking if cereal bowls will become irrelevant just because you could eat it out of a hubcap. Sure there are other options, but sometimes one just makes more sense

I don't think so, since bank is the partner of my bitcoin wallet I think this is not good idea that banks will disappear. I can withdraw only my btc to my bank account.

Yeah just experiencing bitcoin made them feel that it can do everything. It is not bad to dream but dont take it too far. There are some laws and rules that needs to be followed. Thats the reality even with bitcoin being and worthing more and getting more supporters, bitcoin cant offer the same services as banks, the lending system banks has its almost impossible to give such with bitcoin, did you imagined fund a loan for 40 years? |

I don't think Bitcoin can make banks disappear. Banks hold fiat and there are people who would rather die than embrace the idea of Bitcoin. Those people would keep the banks alive. Also, not everyone of us likes using the Internet or the technology itself. Some people just like sticking with what he/she have been using ever since. They simply don't want change.
