I see that lot of people are hoping that the price will skyrocket soon, comparing the chart with ETH or BTC, why don't you compare it with bitshares which has DPoS same like Lisk? The initially high price has been slowly declining after early ATH at 9400 sat now is silly 400 sat. Lisk chart behave VERY similar, constantly going down, without significant bounces, even after enabling community forging, and registering the foundation buy support is getting lower and lower. This should have made the price go back up, if it did not, what will? Dapps? Honestly I don't think they will create something that will revolutionize the internet, not after what I have seen during last months. It's just playing on time.  I am afraid that we are not even close to the bottom, and Lisk can die like crypti, only dev team will have fun with ICO funds

Max is acting happy and optimistic (who wouldn't when holding 12k BTC) but wasn't honest to his ICO investors, he had to know where Lisk is standing in terms of code, not to mention about the non profit, but he did not say a word about LIsk problems at that time.

Tell me what next big news are we expecting soon? Hiring another dev or two? It's like expecting a company to multiply it's value by hiring an employe. Silly

We need a pump now! If the price will go lower, volume and support continue to drop, Lisk will officially become a shitcoin soon. Would suggest Max to reach the funds to defend the price and make some volume to create confidence in investors. Leaving the market how it is until the blockchain apps arrive will make the project look like disaster on the chart, actually who cares...

It's not necessary to arrange pump because the Lisk price has to grow due to demand. But no one wants to buy and hold Lisk because he has a big inflation and there is no limit on amount of coins. People love cryptocurrency because Bitcoin has 21M limit.

Node maintenance much cheaper than a hangar with GPU or ASIC miners. A great reward for the node is not required.

100 000 new forged Lisk per year and 120 millions coins limit. Then people will buy and hold Lisk and the price will grow up without the manipulation in the long term.

Sure it is not necessary but If you look at any crypto the price, is pure speculation. In 99% cases demand comes from believe that the price will go up so you can make a buck. Inflation is not the argument when you look at ETH or even BTC where total supply is finished but In past years actual inflation was high.

The main problem is lack of price support from dev team. Many projects are using ICO funds for this. If they would really believe in success of the project buying now, below ICO price would be great investment for Lisk foundation.

Max and Oliver (if I'm not mistaken) bought lisk for foundation ~2 months back on the market or OTC (https://explorer.lisk.io/address/5726759782318848681L) that is seperate from their personal accounts so they must believe in LISK if they bought 4m additional LISK of the market so your claims don't have any merit here.

Only pools must be in delegates.

You want 101 people to do their damn best to give Lisk forging nodes 100% uptime?  Don't vote pool nodes, vote for people who are VERY STONGLY MOTIVATED to fret over Lisk nodes 24/7/365 for their own benefit.  You get what you pay for.

Understand you delegates, you aren't necessary to Lisk.

These are the words of somebody who has never run a Lisk testnet node for months.

But you want.... one person to receive 148k new forged Lisk + Lisk transactions per year. 148k Lisk and Lisk price 0.1 usd = ~14,800 usd per year.
~ 15 000 usd just for the node service?  It's too expensive. VPS price = 40usd per year. If Lisk price grow up to 1usd, ~ 150 000 usd for the node service. LOL

No one will buy Lisk because his money will be food for Lisk developers friends(now they are delegates) and ARK project.

Cease to live at the expense of the community.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1649695.msg17430201#msg17430201
Per the original direction of Lisk management, it was recommended that those interested in becoming delegates for Lisk solicit votes by offering to use the forging rewards on Lisk related projects. Ark was founded to be able to run as a blockchain which can be bridged to Lisk and operate as a blockchain application with Lisk, so Lisk developers would have access to the blockchains bridged to Ark and Ark developers would have access to the Lisk blockchain applications, so it qualifies as such a project. Since there are very few salaried positions with Ark, and the current budget is under $15,000 USD per month, the use of Lisk forging positions as alternate compensation to develop a Lisk related project allows the current funding level to last much longer, and to have the cash on hand for hiring additional developers as blockchain qualified candidates to fill as needs and opportunity arise, to pay for other operating expenses, and for marketing when mainnet is released.

The current operation of Ark is completely within the guidelines originally presented by Lisk management.

Lisk investors = big losers. Now they will be food for Lisk developers friends(now they are delegates) and ARK project. And Lisk price below ICO.  Grin

101 000 new forged Lisk per year and Lisk coins limit after 2060 year it is the most optimal solution.

What about the community vote for the reduction of reward? No competition. Lisk 148k for 1 man a year - very much for the majority of the delegates. Max may do so. Or we can write some sort of petition

Lisk wants to be the same crap as ETH?
Stop to compare Lisk with ETH.
I don't like the ETH but I must admit...

Vitalik Buterin created the finished product, yes ETH doesn't work perfectly, but it works. So he created a huge community. He created a great team good developers. ETH price higher ICO. On the exchanges have market makers that support the price, create trading volume and provide liquidity. Also he found a lot of big investors, many famous people in community cryptocurrency supports ETH. Created many projects on this platform.

Lisk only collects the money and do nothing.

Delegates want to be millionaires at the expense of the community for ordinary service node. Nobody buys the Lisk to become a delegate because to kiss ass developers is enough to become a delegate as it makes Bitbanksy and other delegates.

Lisk network maintenance is very expensive. 15 000 000(more than 1 500 000 usd) new forged Lisk per year for 101 nodes? Really? If Lisk price = 10 usd, more than 150 000 000 usd for 101 nodes? LOL

101 000 new forged Lisk per year it would be enough for service nodes. If lisk price grow up to 10 usd then delegates will receive a good reward (~ more than 10 000 usd for one delegate per year).

To compare Lisk with Bitshares, BTS is failed project is the same as Lisk.

LMAO You are very stupid. I don't trust them anymore. I think Max and Oliver spend yours ICO 1250 BTC and buy their dark premine "Adviser Fund".  "money laundering on the exchange". Yours ICO BTC and "Adviser Fund" now in bag lisk team.  Wink

I suppose no one will buy Ethereum because a small group of people with big mining farms are collectively earning $100k+ profit per day for their node service?

Lol. Ethereum miners 've bought many equipment to make their farms. Average Ethereum mining farm costs 2k $ and give to you 5500 $ per year.
But how does it works in Lisk? Developers delegate spends 80-120 $ per year and receive about 14k $. Do you think that it's fair?

Some people here apparently live in some unicorn land where everything is perfect - stop bitching and start voting for pools if you are so concerned with who is a delegate and get some return. The ones who have the most to say probably hold 1,000 lisk they bought yesterday on exchange and didn't do anything for lisk, yet come here preaching how its unfair they cannot be delegates. You know what? Yeah life is unfair so go and cry in your bed. I'd much rather support actual people in lisk that want to secure network, have nodes updated at all times,  ... if you think the server cost is the only expense you are living in illusion (time the most precious comoddity is needed to run for a delegate). I don't run a delegate cause don't have the time (not to mention the extensive time someone would need to get in currently to get the votes), but I do vote for a few people and pools I see fit any beneficial for lisk future. Not to mention the extensive electricity that is involved with mining btc , eth, ... so if some people get rich with lisk delegates so be it - they worked hard to get in current delegation.
