You guys think it's possible to start a Kickstarter or crowdfunding to get funding to start a site like coinbase that's exclusively for Lisk? It would need to raise enough money for lawyers and filing fees, money transmitter etc for different states and countries. Idk I'm just throwing out ideas.
very good idea.. and yes i think this is possible to fund such a project... Yeah thats an awesome idea for Lisk. Just like coinbase but Lisk instead of bitcoin. I vote for this  I think a better idea would be an answer to LocalBitCoins: an OTC market that combines selling Lisk with sellers explaining/evangelizing it. You could prolly duck out of (most of) the money-transmitter paperwork as OTC markets are traditionally un- or only lightly regulated. or localbitcoins could add LISK to their portfolio. |

I'd love to see $1-$2 but I know that the delay screwed a lot of us over, by keeping our money out of our hands for two months. I think a lot of people need their funds quickly and will sell for less than $1 |

Thanks. V1 was modeled all in 3D Studio Max, 20,000 trees and 10,000 people moving around on the decks, though they're hard to see after the first few seconds. V3 is a cool design but I'd rather have the foliage and park from V1. The architect gave me the plans for the 25 floors in V3 which I converted to 2D Autocad layers at each elevation, then imported into 3D Max to sweep into a 3D model and then add materials and textures, along with plants, aircraft, and people to render the animation. I had to take a lot of stuff out to get it to render on 3 Gb RAM at the time. The project stalled from the founder dealing with hurricanes in Florida and he died a few years ago, though I've heard from time to time from the other partners who had interest from people in India in building it and needed some web stuff done. Seasteading, http://www.seasteading.org/, is the most active now. There is a group from Seasteading working on a local project in the SF Bay near Sausalito, Richardson Bay. Anchoring out is still allowed there. There is also a yearly festival, Ephemerisle, which is a kind of Burning Man on the water, where a lot of the local Seasteaders and others meet every year in the Delta with rafts, house boats, and other boats. |

I'm glad that I invested in LISK! Going from about 18,000 satoshi /$0.075 cents US at the end of the icu to about 270,000 satoshi currently on the iou markets http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/lisk/#markets $1 US to $6 US per LISK. I truly believe that Lisk will be around $3 per LISK for the floor price. As soon as the dapps start arriving on the Lisk Dapp store then the value of LISK will increase! When there are at least 3 highly successful dapps then price will greatly increase! If these goals are accomplished by the end of 2016 then Lisk will be over $30 per LISK since Ethereum peaked at $17 based on what Ethereum is capable of currently vaporware and very unwanted dapps like the highly anticipated alarm Dapp made for Ethereum! Is it really possible? It would have to kill ethereum That price is impossible to achieve unless one of this (or both) scenarios are achieved: - BTC price goes up in a huge way - Availability of the trade pair LISK/USD on a major exchange (Polo, Kraken,...) Don't misread me, I'm very optimistic about Lisk future & price, but getting serious, any price >6-8$ during the first year of Lisk life it's an utopia IMO. TRH $6-$8 is not far fetched once Lisk Devs get access to the $7.5 million after May 24 to use for marketing. Remember that Ethereum didn't even have that much funds left from their ICO at the time of its launch. Please listen to the folk who know the battlefield. We are all super optimistic but gotta be realistic. Ask yourself, what are you doing to help? As an average investor are you pimping BTC to friends and colleagues and are you enquiring with exchanges when they will be listing Lisk? If everybody here was doing those two things then the price you quoted could be eminently achievable. No alt in off its own back is really worth 30usd so you have to wait for a pump if that's what you want. If you help lay the foundation then it will come quicker. |
