Marketing would be to announce partnerships with companies or helping to setup new DAPPs and ICOs so something good will be released on mainnet when SDK finally becomes available to all.

Dunno, I thought at this point, there would be enough Lisk in the hands of those weird cartels that they wouldn't have to share anything if they didn't want to? Is this even considered a problem anymore?

that's because too many noobs and newbies voting blindly and aimless for the top 101 delegates (even these ones which sharing 0% = zero, nothing, nix, nada), but giving a sh*t or haven't any idea what happens beyond #101. Look at "blink pool" at #142 for example. Independent pool, at the delegate list since years, would share 90% - but no f*ckin way that they could ever reach #101 or better. That shows how deadlocked this Lisk Dpos thing is meanwhile. U only have a (small) chance to reach the forging ranks if u make a deal with the cartels. Really, really sad.

Well, honestly, the whole pool idea, as in "you vote for me and then you get a share" sounded like a bad idea from the beginning. There's no way preventing it, but I distinctly remember thinking when the mainnet started and the first time this popped up "Wait, this isn't right."

Before that, Delegates made thought out proposals, explaining why they should be delegates. Most of them contained funding sidechan development with a high percentage of their income.

Now it's just "90% goes to those who vote for me" which leaves zero room for funding independent development and therefore effectively furthering Lisks growth and adoption.

The problem is, you can't really do anything about it. If I had 9000 LSK right now, I'd probably vote for all the pools in power as well, not because I like them, or endorse them, but because otherwise, I would get nothing and I wouldn't be able to change something anyway.

This is a systemic problem.
