I think it does not matter whether bitcoin is used for illegal activities. because many illegal transactions using other currencies and it is not a problem. for example, drug dealers, whether they have their own currency? no, they use the currency that they are willing to transact and it's not a problem if the currency used for illegal things. Hence her mistakes and is not our business.  |

Yes it is.. it is still a currency, it is not safe in any illegal transaction that is happening..it would only be safe it has no value..

If bitcoin has no value no one would be loosing their time at it.Bitcoin as others fiats is used to ilegals because no one will know why did you sent a payment to other adress ,soo its a bit protected .

See if something is used in illegal activities then its not the mistake of BTC . Some genius might use his brain for making bombs or for making some good for society. I think yes bitcoins are being used for illegal activities like USD is being used to also.

gambling,porn,and another activities is illegal in some country,and bitcoin has been used for that activities. but i dont think its will give bad effect for bitcoin,and we dont need to worry about that. |

I think it is only a rumor or maybe sometime in the past it was used, but it is not frequently used, most of the criminals are illiterate and they do not have any knowledge about bitcoin, and if they started to learn about bitcoin they will also learn the ways of its earning which is much easier and not risky, so they may adopt it.
