I see more and more acrticles of bitcoin being used for illegal activities
will this hurt bitcoin in the long run , will governments ban this just like they started to do wih paying in cash for some services
to harden the use of illegal , and money laundering
Yeah the Bitcoin is somewhat being used by some illegal activities that is just the truth and there is nothing that we can do about it. I suggest that you do not focus on that but focus on what you are here for and not other people. Exactly as bitcoin is money so it's just normal if it's used for illegal activities. Physical golds and things too can be used as long as it was worth. Also if a person has the reason why they doesn't use bitcoin just because of illegal activities then they need more proper learning and study. |

Now most users are into bitcoin considering it as investment as well sources of earning. Only little people are still use it on illegal activities. |

It is. I heard some news about bitcoins though, Criminal using bitcoins for do some transaction because it's anonymous and easily to transfer to another person.

Iceland, Bolivia, Ecuador, Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam are currently the countries that has passed a law to ban bitcoin in their country. Russia once banned bitcoins too but they remove that ban and it resulted to a sudden increase of russian bitcoin users. |

yeah I also can not say it was strange. I mean bitcoin has been very popular with amenities very closed and secretive. so do not be surprised if bitcoin used as an illegal black market. but I never saw firsthand that transaction? |

Everything with value is being used as "currency" when it comes to drugs, weapons and other illegal stuff. It can be Gold, BTC, Prepaid debit cards, cash money, paintings, etc. |

Yeah it was reasonable when the currency was giving the facilities are perfect for anonymous transactions. so do not be surprised if bitcoin used for illegal activities. I often used to see bitcoin currency or payment method to purchase carding tools or goods of carding. |

I know some illegal activities that includes bitcoins, Like in darkweb. They are using bitcoin as their payments to the bought drugs, guns, or something illegal their There will always be those who would find ways to obtain what they want. It is just that they found out that bitcoin is another instrument that can be used to anonymously purchase stuff that are considered illegal. The same goes with the fiat. So it is not only bitcoin that's being used for shady activities and transactions. |

Yeah definitely. Bitcoin is used for illegal activities but find a currency that is not used for illegal activities. There are none that you can find in my opinion. Cash is used for illegal activities as well. It's the people who decide to use their currency for bad purposes, not BTC. |

In many country gambling is illegal so if we used this coins for gaming means it is equal to bitcoin is being used for illicit activities only. Not everyone some people may use it for online shopping, so this is not illegal. But this cryptocurrency is more used for illegal activites.

here in internet gambling is not illegal  its up to you if you want to try gambling to lose some bitcoins , but i suggest if the one who read this wants to try gambling for fun and earn some profit try to invest then if you have small profit withdraw your balance that you invest and play gambling using your profit. |

This crypto-currency is and has been used for illegal activities because it is "untraceable" in the money circulation and that's what the issue is, people can use it for worse rather than better because of it's principles. Although some may use it for the worse, a lot use it for the bettering. |
