I think bitcoin is logical development of money as segment of the economy. Sooner or later something like bitcoin should appear and money to go on crypto level. It's a new step in all by story of money that supposed to be. I think with such temps paper money will go in past.
This is something that I hear sometimes and I disagree with it, the fact that Satoshi created bitcoin does not mean the creation of something like it was imminent, there are recorded cases in history abut an inventor creating something and then for some reason the invention is forgotten and centuries later no one was capable to create something like the invention that was lost.
The record will always stay in the stay and that makes it very consistent and transparent for all of us, it's like a business that has an audit trail and in cases when there's a problem we can always check back on what transaction has transpired.

And those coins' source code have been on the internet and can be found easily by using google search and probably will be archived by the internet itself. There's no way this invention could be forgotten

This is indeed true and I do not think that it will disappear to be honest, the bitcoin is a good digital currency and I think it can come pretty far.

You are correct but even then there is still the possibility however remote bitcoin may be forgotten, that will require an event that send us to the stone ages, and if that was the case not having bitcoin will be the last of our worries.

Why would it not need a future, I think that it has a great future a head and that it would be bad if it does not get a future.

It seems like I've got your point, you said that will require an event that send us to the stone ages . well as long as we have a required facilities to utilize for the circulation of bitcoin and the blockchain keeps on function bitcoin will never be forgotten because we only have a few things to sustain the life circulation of bitcoin .

India, Venzuela Cypress. Whos next? yes bitcoin has future. Huge future.
Many of the people in Cypress discovered bitcoin earlier than most other countries becuase of the financial crisis they experienced there.
I recently discovered that Venezuela was already big in bitcoin mining. And we have been hearing some good news out of India since they started to change some of their currency notes.

2017 is looking good for bitcoin!

Well bitcoins have a future if all the countries make a joint pact and make their currency and i am damn sure some countries will surely not accept it and there will be fiat and there will bitcoins side by side until and unless there is any world war.
Your visionary about the future of Bitcoin is too dark. I can not even see a light there. In my mind, I do think that Bitcoin can not be accepted , but only in the few countries because the people now want to use Bitcoin instead of FIAT. And if the Government does not allow them to do that, there will be the protest, riot, chaos which can knock down the whole country. That's why I think most of the countries, especially developed ones, will let their people use it as a optional currency.

If in Venezuela now big mining but I'm not sure it's done by the government agencies, may be is a private company so it will have no effect with the country economy. Nevertheless, I am optimistic that bitcoin is one of the world's financial future. If not now definitely later.

I would answer why not. Looking the world countries India, Eurozone members, Australia is easy to see that we go to a cashless money monetary system. After that, imo people mainly will use debit/credit cards and web/mobile banking. And next or after next generation crypto currencies will dominate the world. Bitcoin is the leader of them. So it's natural for me that will have a bright future.

The future of bitcoin is very bright as what we can see what is happening right now, some think that after this substantial increase the price will start will fall and I do not buy their prediction, it's too early to say that as we have not even reach $1,000, maybe after we get to that price which will probably happy by the end of the year, I will start watching what's going to happen next.

It depends on the further development and the community. Otherwise, there is little future. It can be replaced.

without supporting from bitcoin dev and from people which using bitcoin then bitcoin don't have a future. but as we can see, the dev of bitcoin is really serious to continue the project and many people will still use bitcoin and make transaction or just to save the bitcoin in their wallet. i am agree with Kasabus said that bitcoin have very bright future as long as we, bitcoiners, still supporting bitcoin itself and using bitcoin for many purpose.

It probably depends on them but don't you think that the community is increasing day by day? And the users are spreading all over the world which as a result will make it the most used digital currency in the world, though it is right now the most used crypto currency but then it will be used by more people.

in addition, the future also depends on the bitcoin users. bitcoin more and more users, the better the future is in bitcoin. well, I believe, will be very many people like us who would appear, and I think, they will create a great future for bitcoin, just as we expected.

Everything created will have a future and even today is the future of the dream that happened in 2009 when it first came to limelight. However, going by what has happened in the past, we can conclude that the future will be better but to me, its going bleak and not for any other thing but because of the threat its going to pose for established system of doing things which might not go well with government of today.
