I can't synchronize for several days (Windows Tor QT Wallet v4.0.2). The synchronization process begins, proceeding slowly for several hours and then stops. How can I force the QT wallet to finally download all blocks?

I guess there's something wrong with Verge wallets. Many other cryptocurrencies are OK on my PCs in different locations... Even XSPEC (TOR-based, similarly with VERGE).

correct.
you just record the relevant USD/fiat price in XVG on the day you used it to pay.
you probably also keep a similar record of the date and USD/fiat value when you bought XVG.

of course another question is why you would need a privacy coin in the first place as a business.

And miners do what? They do not buy XVG, but mine them.

    So, a business using verge, doesnt use the Stealth aspect.  simple.


its the best of both worlds.   Made usable by either type of person/usage.

Just thought about that trafficjunky deal. If i'am correctly informed traffic junky controls the porn ads, not? If this is the case the majority (if not all) users are companies launching ad campaigns.
If i'am correct with the above than XVG will have about 0 impact on it. It doesn't make sense to use XVG for a company to pay whatever bill since you can not write it off (taxes).
While it sounds good i doubt that this deal will have whatever influence on XVG price.

I just compiled the source code (Linux Ubuntu), downloaded a bootstrap (2.4 GB). Currently it's importing the blockchain from disk, been running about an hour now and 200mb completed, gonna be a slow process for sure.

Also, is anyone familiar with setting up VERGE to work through Tor + Obfs4proxy ? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Same here, very fast transactions and low fees make it a great coin for moving things around and when you add anonymity it's a win-win.Needs a bit more improvement when it comes to wallets, but overall I'm pretty satisfied with Verge despite all the FUD.

Yes if there will be decentralized exchanges then no one have to care about any crack down. many things happen in the history against crypto and many people escaped because of their fear from this field but still you can see that this field is on the way to develop more and is increasing more and more. I hope they will do it.
The team behind this project is very sincere with their project and the coin and they want their coin to be another bitcoin. Just remember bitcoin was also at a time at a price of some cents and now it is much higher in value then it is not hard for verge to reach to thousands of dollars. It all need promotions and adoptions by the people and companies with bigger businesses.
