I thought whales were extinct lol, but now i know.

They didnt, they just dont really shows themselves up in moneypot often , thats it and now it emerge from their ' long sleep ' *sarcasm

In regards to the suggestion for MP, it seems it would be nice to see some hall of fame or leaderboard ranging to 25 players of whom have won the most bitcoin and whom have wagered the most combined all accross all moneypot apps.

edit : something like bustabit has

We have plans for adding a leaderboard, that way we can do more giveaways on a monthly basis Smiley

MoneyPot didn't use the 200 bits transaction fee that I specified...

That's ridiculous. This transaction is gonna take hours to confirm

Regardless, you took 200 bits and didn't use them - can I get them back?

I'll send you a PM and arrange something since it should have registered for a higher fee.

It is a great idea. Why such promotion, hopefully there will be more gamblers to come in and play. The bets seems to be quite slow these days, mainly due to the changing over but we should find ways to get it back on tracks.

minimum investment is only 1bit (100satoshi)

there is no fixed return/profit for your investment, you will earn profit if gamblers losses to the house and you will lose investment if gamblers win

Don't believe there is a minimum as it's an open investment setup. Invest / devest as you choose.

There is absolutely no minimum. Open an account, invest 100 satoshi, and get a feel for yourself. Easier still: open an account, collect 200 satoshi from an app faucet, withdraw that to your Moneypot wallet, and invest that. Now 200 satoshi isn't going to earn very much, but you will see the value fluctuate, and you will get a feel for the platform.

A question for the board:

I have some vague recollection of reading something to the effect that app owners have some ability to bet on their own app with a +EV. Is this true?

Of course the follow-on question is, do we have any sense for how much of the volume is in fact app developers/owners and/or Moneypot principals themselves boosting bet volume as a sort of marketing mechanism?
