We need a Stratum supported pool to mine KR.. I don't get why this coin has settled with just one single pool.  Huh

I can add a stratum port if you're interested, but currently the normal implementation is just working fine

Thank you, ocminer, for being here for Krypton from day one.

Several of our community have done comparisons on which is the better way to mine: solo or at your Suprnova pool... and the pool wins.  Cheesy

Also, I want to thank you for putting up with our fast blocks. I have done my best to explain to new miners that their shares are safe and continuing to accumulate whenever they see a Suprnova 'backend' message displayed on their screen.  Wink

Actually, notsofast did an excellent job of explaining this. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1368118.msg14620450#msg14620450)

I've added his post to Krypton's FAQ wiki that the community is helping to develop.

If you would like to add anything, ocminer, please let me know.

Here is Krypton's coin logo for the Suprnova main page: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rvpozeo59i15ws0/krypton-coin.png?dl=0

Thanks again,

@Krypton team, we're glad you're using our explorer, but it would be fair that you reintegrate the link to the github in order to respect pharesim's work.

Also, where is it stated that you can remove our copyright? © Shift 2016

I'm open to adding other mining pools. Direct me to any you like, that can accommodate ETH-based coins, and I'll contact them.

Will do.

Hi Maverick69,

Yes, Krypton_Dev used pharesim's block explorer to create a temporary one for Krypton while he is away on real-life business. He won't be able to complete the 'kick-ass' one he promised us until his return and he didn't want to leave us waiting.

I've been in contact with pharesim and have been working with him on items to change in his explorer. To that end, he has joined Krypton's slack and has spoken with me live. You're also welcome to come to Krypton's slack and talk about this but, it's really a non-issue. (http://slack.krypton.rocks)

All changes to the Krypton block explorer are coming from pharesim. Krypton_Dev is only pulling pharesim's latest changes, not making any changes on his own.

Krypton's richlist (http://richlist.krypton.rocks) is part of the proprietary block explorer that Krypton_Dev is developing. There are no plans to incorporate this richlist into the pharesim block explorer.

Hope this clears things up. If we had something to contribute to the pharesim explorer, we certainly would.

Well, whatever the reasons are, you removed the copyright. This explorer has been funded by Shift team for SHIFT, and it's not fair to do as if it hasn't been. Do what you have to do, and case closed?

I was under the impression that the pharesium block explorer was open source. So, I checked with Krypton_Dev to be sure. Here is his reply:

"shift forked their explorer from etherparty and the license for
both is GPL
(https://github.com/pharesim/shift_explorer/blob/master/LICENSE.md)(link mine)

the source code for kr explorer is at:
https://bitbucket.org/gkrypto/krypton-explorer/overview

it states what it was inspired from from day 1

i added a link to the source code in the footer"

http://explorer.krypton.rocks

For open source code, attribution is more than enough. No copyrights are applicable.

good to hear about twitter campaign. Will we get free coins for the campaign ?

This twitter campaign is not about giving away free KR. For free KR, visit Krypton's Faucet:  http://faucet.krypton.rocks

The twitter campaign I'm talking about, malekbaba, is the Krypton community's push to get KR added to Bittrex and Poloniex.

Those RTs and Likes are looking good! Please spread the word.  Cheesy

To make this clear because I am receiving stupid accusations by email: I didn't do any work on behalf of Krypton, I only fixed one bug they reported last week. In my repository.
The Krypton explorer doesn't have any changes to that, except a modified bootstrap.css they created. After leaving shift and putting the explorer repo into discontinued state, I also left the Krypton slack again.

Damn, some guys have issues. Now I'm really glad about my decision.

I picked up some cheap KR today thanks to the dumpers. My cost average per KR is getting lower thanks to the people who want to dump below 5,000 satoshi.

Is there any plans to make this coin a POS coin in the future?
