$ 2,843,700.00.

To put that into perspective for you, with that amount of money, you can buy:

450 pounds of marijuana.

You're paying far too much.  Cheesy

well we wouldn't be where we are now if it wasn't for people like Lazlo . Seriously, thank you for making transactions regardless of the price.
Agree! Had to start somewhere. Same could be said for many internet boom businesses or Microsoft or Apple stocks. So Lazlo, certainly don't ever 2nd guess what you did. Its all good!

I think I'm going to propose "Slice of Laszlo's pizza" as a synonym for KiloBTC for the next version of the client.

That's a neat idea
For short maybe "Slice" for 1k, "Pizza" for 10k  Cheesy

He doesn't hold any coins right now. He spent all coins he mined years ago.
He came back to this thread last year and explained this. He lives normal life.
He's glad that he's the first man who pays BTC and buy a real thing.

That makes me sad.

I am glad he is taking it well and able to take the positives from the situation

That made me do a double take. $ 2,843,700.00.

To put that into perspective for you, with that amount of money, you can buy:

  • Five Lamborghini Aventadors, and still have cash to spend
  • Buy three Bugatti Veyrons.
  • Get 450 pounds of marijuana.
  • Sign off on 36 Supercharged 2013 Range Rovers.
  • Become a rapper and feature 2 Chainz on 28 of your songs.

And Lazlo just spent that on a pizza. It's crazy.
Hm, going through the list, there's nothing on there I'd rather have than a tasty delicious pizza. Money well spent, Laszlo! Wink

Yeah, well, I'm gonna go build my own blockchain. With blackjack and hookers! In fact forget the blockchain.

I just bought a pizza for a bit under ten thousand satoshi.  9776 satoshi, to be exact.   Grin

Actually, all I did was win a bet about how long it would take for someone to figure out how to pick up that tiny txout at a profit and get around to actually doing it.  Then I posted "want a tiny scrap of dust?" and gave its privkey.  55 minutes later it vanished, and someone I'd made a bet with owed me a pizza.

I really didn't expect it to be that close.  5 more minutes, and I'd have paid a whole lot more for my pizza.

I'll pay 10,000 bitcoins for a couple of pizzas.. like maybe 2 large ones so I have some left over for the next day.  I like having left over pizza to nibble on later.  You can make the pizza yourself and bring it to my house or order it for me from a delivery place, but what I'm aiming for is getting food delivered in exchange for bitcoins where I don't have to order or prepare it myself, kind of like ordering a 'breakfast platter' at a hotel or something, they just bring you something to eat and you're happy!

I like things like onions, peppers, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, pepperoni, etc.. just standard stuff no weird fish topping or anything like that.  I also like regular cheese pizzas which may be cheaper to prepare or otherwise acquire.

If you're interested please let me know and we can work out a deal.

Thanks,
Laszlo

I think that's a very good idea, should adopt new ideas and I think it should be all over the world to spread Internet Bitcoin market, in which we will be able to pay Bitcoin.
