It seems very backwards to me that people who didn't buy coins gets airdrops for free.

I'm willing to buy BitSend coins, but I don't qualify to get airdrops.  It's upside down.

Does anyone know of any other coins, besides Bitcore where I can earn interest on holding coins in a wallet?  Not staking wallets.

They are giving coins away to build awareness and a larger base for the coin.  Nothing wrong with that.  It is unfortunate that they have to set limits because so many will cheat, but that is the way it goes.

There are coins that earn interest by just owning the coin, but this is BSD thread and not the place to advertise others.  Go down the list on the exchange and read about each coin, lot's of interesting ones out there.  I think you will find what you are looking for.

Any work, but Bittrex is good.  I read every ann of every coin I come across.  Lot's of work, but worth it.

kb4scv,

I already use Bittrex, but they don't have any information on coins.

I need to find a list of coins that earn interest in a wallet. (Not staking wallets)
There are over 1000 coins on the market.  I don't have time to research all of them.

Can someone publish a list somewhere else on Bitcointalk and then tell me where it is?

Thanks

I didn´t heared before that there are coins out there that earn interest. I only know staking what is like earning interest. But it would be great if someone can explain that to me, too.

All projects by Limx Dev are solid projects and worth a look but I'm not sure of any that earns without have wallet open beside BitCore BTX air drops and BitSend BSD air drops.

Otherwise look into Komodo
KMD - Komodo earn you 5% interrest per year for having coins on your address. No need to have wallet open just have coins on your address and the wallet has a button that say 'collect interest' that you can use when you are ready  to collect. KMD is the currency of the SuperNET, JUMBLR (bitcoin mixer), BarderDEX (Decentralized exchange) and dICO (A Platform to hold Decentralized ICO).

I got some issue with my wallet need your advice.

Initially, I choose desktop one of the folder as a location for all the backups and to install wallet. But yesterday, when I was opening wallet by mistake, choose the location as a default location and wallet started synchronising from the day one but after all complete, I don't see my coins in my wallet.

Need your advice to recover back my coins. I have an old backup wallet.dat file.

Thanks for your help.
start your wallet by <Start>+<R> then type "bitsend-qt -choosedatadir" and click <OK> (or press <Enter>). You'll be able to choose the previous data dir that contains your wallet and the most recently synchronized copy of the BSD blockchain.

Thanks for your information but didn't understand where a need to type "<Start>+<R>"? I didn't understand this part. Please help on this.

I usually double click bitsend-qt file to open bitsend wallet. Thank you.
<Start>+<R> means to press the "windows"/"orb" key on the keyboard and (while keeping it pressed) press the <R> key (also on the keyboard). That will open a "run program" box where you can type the "bitsend-qt -choosedatadir" text then click <Ok> or press the <Enter> key...
An alternative solution would be to right-click on the "bitsend-qt" file and choose "Send to" -> "Desktop (create shortcut)", then right-click on the newly created shortcut, select "Properties"  and append " -choosedatadir" at the end the command field. After that you can double-click on the shortcut...

I have the strange feeling that I'm teaching somebody to operate a computer...

Thank you very much. I will try now.

After the application of a 1,000 participants the Airdrops are closed definitely until 2019? Lucky guys then  Grin
Almost in the top 200 of all coins. How long it will take to break through into the top 100?  Roll Eyes Or too optimistic?

Edit:
Very optimistic for the moment, but in my opinion still possible in time.
Price of BSD currently should be 2,80 USD or so to be in the top 100.

It's only a matter of time until BitSend reaches 2,80 USD Smiley I'm sure of that.

Yes, I wan't to earn something for supporting a coin.  It's not free if you have to purchase coins first.  Staking doesn't count.  I don't want to have to keep wallets open on my computer constantly.  So far, Bitcore has been great.

Only giving away airdrops to certain people who didn't buy coins doesn't seem fair.

They don't complain about fairness when you cash out coins for profit.

You want to earn something for supporting a coin? Go around and tell that in all other threads and see how people will react to you. You want money for cheerleading? If you are a developer, ok , then you deserve some coins. But not for cheerleading. How far have we gotten here?

My friend, you have come to the wrong place if you dont have time to do your research. While the world of cryptocurrencies is very exciting it is up to you and you alone to do your research. If you fail to do your research, you will A) lose all your money and B) have some scammer rob you blind.

Go do some research, for your own sake.
