havent had a payment in like 2 days... there seems to be 24 pending blocks on alpha pool. i'll give it like 12 hours before i switch pools again

In a Linux install of C-bit core, My core is up and running, connected to nodes, downloaded the blockchain and the wallet functions. But, I can not complete RPC commands from my application. I know the problem is not the application as I run it with bitcoin core already
I need to answer the following questions.
Do I use C-bit.conf, c-bit.conf, cbit.conf or bitcoin.conf for my config file?
Do I use port 8332 or port 8288 for RPC?
