Halving is a profitable???

This will be my first halving so I dont have a good idea what will happen at July 10th. Some people said to me that I have to hold some bitcoin when halving happened in the hope the price will increase significantly. Lets see what will happen!

People are just speculating around that price will be higher at halving, but the fact is no one have idea what will be the exact price, either it will go higher or lower, and price has started to go down now.

In terms of the price is going increase once if happens.

The run-up to the block halving has already been more than profitable for a lot people here.

If there will be a massive bull run in the last days before the block halving then it will add another level of profitability.

that is right. The whales can determine the price and can push the price down so that there will be fewer miners.

yes it is a fact. halving can be profitable if the people hold their bitcoin at the time of halving and do not create panic. if they start selling their bitcoin at the same time then it will not be in their favour, the price will fall done very rapidly and they will turn their profit in loss.

yes it is a fact. halving can be profitable if the people hold their bitcoin at the time of halving and do not create panic. if they start selling their bitcoin at the same time then it will not be in their favour, the price will fall done very rapidly and they will turn their profit in loss.

If there is a dump, it would mean that the halving didn't increase the price of bitcoin. A dump to 400$ would mean that the whole halving thing was just in people's head and all this was simply a bubble. (Which market corrected).

Since price did increase and seems to be quite stable, it means that the halving still had an effect.

well i guess you might be correct about it, no one knows whether the price is going to go significantly up or down in my opinion thus it is pretty risky to invest now

i hope and i think that halving will be profitable as it would allow us all to make some good money out of bitcoins, i hope the price wont be dumped when people will try to take out profit

If there will be a massive bull run in the last days before the block halving then it will add another level of profitability.

Which is strange since the effects of reduced supply will kick in with some delay, more like Xmas.

The market is driven by hype and speculation so in that aspect it's not really that surprising or strange.

What can be seen as strange is the fact that the price may get dumped down once the hype around the halving is clearing.

It will be interesting to see how people will react to the massive dumps that are coming towards us.

yeah no one can just predict the future for the price of bitcoin as the predictions are just for fun and coincidence are said to be magic !
But in my opinion i see a very bright future of bitcoin

Well, no. Halving is not profitable for the miners because their earnings will be cut in half, many miners(those that have old mining rigs) will quit so the difficulty will decrease a bit but we have in market those that have large hash power like s7 s9 and they will continue its job. Halving can be profitable only for the traders, investors because normally the price should be increased a bit but not doubled.
